Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left

That always bums me out also. -
We need an overhaul on defense, an elite pass rusher, re-sign Groot also?, add another big 1 tech DT next to Oliver either FA or the draft, even if we re-sign Douglas I still think we need another guy back there with fresh legs but I'm hoping for an upgrade over Douglas who looked slow towards the end and a safety opposite of Cole Bishop who I think gets the start this season full time.

It's the defensive line, stupid!
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
They've put alot of resources into the defense and not a whole lot to show for it imo...Ed Oliver (9th overall), Groot (28th), Epenesa (2nd round), Boogie Basham (2nd), Elam (1st), Terrell Edmunds (16th). one of them is almost out of the league, Elam might be salvaged on a better scheme fit but probably a career backup, Epenesa is just a rotational player, the other was let go into free agency, Groot and Oliver are solid but we needed elite players and they are not that at least not yet. That is alot of misses by beane/McDermott and I put them both up there because although Beane picks the players I'm almost 99.9% certain both he and Sean go over the players together. They've swung and missed badly throughout their tenures here. -
Hurts aside from that interception was money and accounted for 3 of their 4 TD. Josh Sweat would have been a close 2nd as he looked unblockable for most of the game.

Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is definitely an encouraging sign, definitely a few years too late (he should have been gone after bass out of bounds kickoff in 13 seconds imo) but it's good to see they know where they aren't good enough. Now let's hope they try new defensive schemes as well or hire in some newly fired coaches to help bolster the defense at the very least. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speed isn't the only metric to becoming a top tier WR which has been proven several times over... Jerry Rice, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Cris Carter and many others. Many fans called Jerry Rice a bust after his rookie year where he dropped many passes, we could be pleasantly surprised in year 2. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

It's still way too early to tell, Coleman was looking much better until that injury. -

No more tiny DL Beane, we need some beef! -
Don’t trust the thousand yard stare, I give that same stare to my girlfriend when she says “Let’s go to the movies”. I immediately know 50 shades of grey 3 or a movie like it is what I’ll have to sit through for 3 hours.

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly

Elon's already planning for it. -
Trade the pics for established players. We should be going for it from here on in like the Rams did. You don’t have to screw the future entirely for the now.

Congrats, now lets get this Unicorn a freaking SB team this offseason!!!

Wow

This would be much more entertaining if at the end they give the MVP to Lamar Jackson and right before he makes his speech on stage, Ashton Kutcher comes out and yells you just got pranked dawg.

Come on man, Jelly roll at a sports show? 🤣

Cooper Kupp leaving the Rams. Want him?

Injuries? -
Way too early to call Coleman a JAG, he looked like he was getting things right before the injury. Although Rousseau is not an elite edge rusher he is most certainly not a JAG, 8 sacks is respectable and had 1 each in the Broncos/Ravens games also. We definitely still need an elite edge rusher opposite of him and some speed at WR imo.
