I mean this guy has never been an elite player. Decent pass catcher and injury fill-in like McKissic, Perine, etc. He is actually a very good returner and we have seen that so far. NE also plays good teams year in and year out so today doesn’t count.
We traded a 6th and an incredibly unproductive RB for him, what did we think we were getting? He will have a role and make some plays but we are still figuring out what we can do with him. We have barely practiced with him.
Instead, why don’t we focus on how much better Cook has been and how we now have the luxury of a Hines as RB3.
If this guy was with Brady he'd be lighting teams up, this guy is a pass catching specialist and I really hope they start utilizing him because he has the jets to take it to the house on any given play. I hear all the time that Josh Allen misses Beasley in the slot. No reason both he and McKenzie can't become another security blanket.

I am curious the opinion everyone has on Knox's role in this offense.
The guy is being paid a good chunk of change to average 2-3 catches a game and will probably have 500 receiving yards or less this season.
Tonight he had zero catches, and I believe one target.
Is he overrated? Is he not used properly? I know the Bills are not known for having top flight TE's. I am just trying to figure out if he's fools gold or if a package of plays need to be catered to utilize him.
What say ye?
He is just a puzzling and polarizing player in this offense in my view.
I'm counting this season as a wash for the guy, he just lost his brother and everyone handles grief differently, you can clearly see his head isn't in the right place which is understandable.

We kept hearing how Josh is good under pressure and bringing heat against him. And he had been.
But this year it's not the same. Maybe it's our OL.
I'm worried that the NFL has figured out how to rush Josh.
@Simon, others. Thoughts?
This Oline is bad and even worse with Dawkins out. -
We keep letting the Pats hang around.

Anyone else miss our Cole Beasley? I really think he was a big part of the Bills success the last few years.
Granted we have other issues, just saying he was Mr. Chain-Mover
I still believe the Bills win, but I miss him first downs.
I truly believe Nyheim Hines could be a solid chain mover if used properly.

Less talented players being forced into starting roles.
This is 100% it and could have ended thread here. Dodson, Bernard, Klein, Hamlin, Neal are nowhere near as good as the starters in front of them.

I had been on the "no thanks" to bringing in OBJ pretty much from the get go because I want to see Gabe Davis continue to develop and become that reliable #2 WR I know he's going to be but we're in this SB window right now and with the way injuries are happening I'd feel a lot more comfortable with Davis, OBJ and Diggs out there. Obviously he's getting the full court press so he might not even want to come here after Jerry Jones gets his gross hands all over him but I think after he talks with Diggs/Allen/Miller and others he'll be all about it imo.
-
No doubt in my mind we'll win all 3 of these next games, It might not be pretty but we will imo.

It’s really disheartening and disturbing these last 5 games how many have turned against Allen. Guy gives it his all and puts his heart and soul on the team. Has he played reckless? Yes he has. But the team around him outside of Diggs has not helped him much at all. Davis is not the true number 2 WR that we all hoped he would become after his playoff stint against the Chiefs. Knox has also taken a big step back since getting his new contract and that’s becoming a growing theme not only for us but to every team around the league. Also the o line has regressed and large part due to injuries. Chances are we’re going to need a new center and move on from Morse.
to all those who dislike Allen now. Just remember what we had for 17 years before Allen came to us. Remember Bledsoe, Losman, Fitzpatrick and Edwards, Van Pelt etc
The best is the "Josh Allen is trash now" rants, after the dude injures his elbow not only doesn't miss a game but is still the best QB on the field most of the time. 1 dude said put Case Keenum in there today, you can make this ***** up!

Bass? Bass? Dude almost put us in overtime. Oliver was a monster today and deserved to be fed.
End of story
I still think he's gnawing on Jared Goff's turkey leg right now.

um, yea, throw that guy in.
I think the bigger issue is getting into game shape to avoid a hamstring issue haunting in the playoffs because of how late in the season it now is
It's easy to say but they're doing the right thing imo.

How many plays so far this game....one? two? why bother dressing then?
If you have a guy who's mentally having a hard time coming back from an injury, is it wise to throw him in the deep end? I think they are just getting him more comfortable.

This place is unbelievable, not a huge fan of Frazier but it's not possible to get the same play when you lose guys like Rousseau, Miller, White only in for a few plays, Elam, Edmunds, Hyde and I think Epenesa still out. That is an unheard of amount of injuries, next man up but note that the next man up is nowhere near as talented and it's showing and we still managed to win this tough game.

then put Keenum in if he can’t make routine llays due to injury. He’s being outplayed by freaking Goff.
Because a 75% Josh Allen is better than Keenum.

I have no doubt in my mind we win against the Jets and Dolphins, we lost by 3 to the Jets with our whole defense practically out. We lost by 2 points after some players were out and we were getting fried on the sidelines hyperventilating. We stay healthy and we're golden and even if we aren't we still have our beast at QB Josh Allen who is the defacto in all this. As long as he's healthy we can beat any team any given Sunday imo.
