  1. He didnt become a billionaire listening to the likes of us that's for sure.
  2. WR Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Not only one of the best WR from that era but was doing it with guys like Kordell Stewart, Mike Tomzack and Tommy Maddox from 1998 until Big Ben came around in 2004. He was also the best blocking WR I've ever seen and probably ever will. DE L.C. Greenwood- Part of the Steel Curtain defense, 78 sacks, had 4 sacks on Roger Staubach in the SB that was a huge part of why they won. It's crazy to me that he isn't in the HOF already. OL Joe Jacoby- huge part of that hogs OL, top notch OL, should have been in long ago and can't think of why he's not?
  3. For me it's barry Sanders and nobody is really close, Jim Brown was not in my era and Walter Payton was at the tail end of his career when I started watching. Barry Sanders was the greatest RB I have ever watched in person, live and I don't think I've seen anyone like him since, Tomlinson was really good but he was also playing behind a pretty awesome OL, Barry had Lomas Brown and a bunch of jags blocking for him and was still the best.
  4. I'm all for building the best OL we can possibly get.
  5. I agree, he's already being annointed as a 10-11 win team.
  6. The Ravens, Rams and Bengals mascots look like they can be in the Wiz 2, you know it's coming.
  7. With Josh Allen we are always contenders for the SB but i feel like this team is it's the best it's been since the 13 seconds but I'd love it if Von Miller were back in week 1 or 2.
  8. Nice, they missed the playoffs with all these guys last year and now have a much worse OL and will do it again this year.
  9. I would have to say yes, he'd be worse than Spencer Brown and he's undersized at 6'4" 304 lbs. but for the most part I was just busting your chops.
  10. He's a mediocre G and you want him on the outside? Do you even like Josh Allen?
  11. If they play him in the slot day 1 he for sure has a chance, there is alot of mouths to feed but he will get a ton of mismatches there.
  12. Solid signings by Beane so far, I've always wanted RB Latavius Murray and now he's a Bill, he ran for 700 yards, 5 TD and a 4.4 YPC average, not bad for a 33 year old. Now with Ford you get a productive DT who came here for less money to get a SB ring, some great motivation there!
  13. I've always liked Murray, if Harris goes down with an injury he can step in especially goaline and short yardage.
  14. Why does everyone keep saying he's too small to play ILB? He is the modern day size of most LB, Athletic and smallish.... he's 6'1" 228 lbs., Here are some top ILB sizes... 49ers- Fred Warner 6'3" 229 lbs, many here wanted Lavonte David, he's 6'1" 234 lbs, Bobby Wagner 6'0" 242, Shaquille Leonard 6'2" 234, RoQuan Smith , 6'1" 236 lbs, Eric Kendricks 6'0" 232 lbs. I can go on and on and he fits the mold plus I'd say he's as athletic as alot of those guys also, you can see it just watch a few full Tulane games and he's very noticeably athletic bursting to wherever the ball is.
  15. They hated him so much they made him the highest paid QB at the time they gave him the contract, they said take that #######!
  16. I couldn't even imagine and don't want to. I hope he and his family somehow recovers from this but I don't know how you can after something like this.
  17. Hopefully it's Melvin Ingram, I think he would be awesome in this scheme. The only place he never really fit in was Pittsburgh which is very odd but I'd love to have him here, Frank Clark or Justin Houston if not Ingram would be decent also.
  18. I can't compare Brady to anyone because there is nobody like him. But I'd say Mahomes is pretty darn lucky, the 13 seonds is straight up luck and the hold in the SB that got them that TD was pretty darn lucky imo, some will argue it.
  19. There was never to me a huge gap, for us now it's going to take luck and health like just about every top notch team in the league. If our top players can stop getting hurt and we don't have players going into cardiac arrest we should be golden to compete for a SB once again imo.
  20. Seems like some healthy WR battles in training camp this year.
  21. They got an A+ https://twitter.com/PFF/status/1652457242631733251/photo/1
  22. I was hoping this draft would be all about Josh Allen and it was so I gave them a solid A. Allen has 2 more weapons at his disposal in TE Dalton Kincaid and WR Justin Shorter (Shorter probably wont see a ton of action this year but you never know). OG O'Cyrus Torrence was the #1 rated G for me in this class so landing him at 59 was an absolute steal imo with 0 sacks allowed in College and then another steal for me was 7th round G Nick Broecker, another guy who was 2nd team SEC with 0 sacks allowed in College at Ole Miss and has a real shot at making the team. I didn't know much about the selection of LB Doriam Williams our 3rd round pick but I've watched 3 Tulane games so far and he has stood out on defense in 2 of the 3 games, very instinctive, he doesn't hesitate, when he sees the ball he goes after it whether the QB has it or the RB he is flying to it. I've seen many on here criticize his size but that appears to be the modern ILB now a days, athletic and smallish ass i look around the league and will start off at OLB according to Beane. I feel our first 3 picks have a chance to start right away in some capacity and Broecker could possibly take a job or starts in the future, I really liked him alot but never saw that we had him visit or a zoom meeting and usually we dont stray from that so I must of missed it. All in all I thought Beane was very disciplined with the picks and instead of messing with next years picks (which is said to be a much better class) to get back this years picks, he stayed put and still drafted 6 players. We now have 9 picks next year from what I can see and then he can maneuver a bit better up and doiwn the board.
  23. He will not be the typical TE, They are talking about him multiple times in the slot which is Travis Kelce's bread and butter. He is going to be fun to watch and this should also open up Dawson Knox as well who will be the traditional TE. I heard it from Beane and from Kincaid in the interviews what the expectations were.
