Spencer Brown Injury Concern
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to vtnatefootball11's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was a question mark even before this injury, I was worried that they didn't do any sort of upgrade at all at RT and now it could really come back to haunt them. Lets hope we can get a solid replacement in there this late. -
Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with most that there will most likely be a steep dropoff left by Tremaine Edmunds but I think AJ Klein will get the start so at least we'll have a veteran there. Another dropoff will be at returner, losing Hines definitely sucks but isn't irreplacable. Other than that I think we really did well at OL, DL adding more weapons for Allen and the RB room looks really good also. I'm ready to get this season started! -
Astro’s TC Report - Sunday 7/30
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hated to read the part where it says "Buffalo isn't noted for it's screen plays and still won't be" going 1-3 on them today. We only practiced 4 screen plays on the day? I hope this picks up more as TC continues because the screen game should be another advantage with our backs imo even with Hines out for the year. Great read otherwise though thanks for sharing this. -
Sean Payton on Broncos 2022 Season - Wow
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
After Denver used a 1st round pick on Payton? That would look even more foolish. -
I was fine with the Cincy call, I felt like that was a good call but that penalty in the SB where they weren't calling anything and that got called was mind boggling to me. I'm not 1 to think sports are rigged but when things like that happen it always makes me question it. How do you call basically nothing throughout the game (9 total penalties and 6 of them were pre snap infractions) and then you make that bush league call on the grandest stage?

I thought it was a great discussion, seems very genuine that that's what went down but I still don't understand Sean McDermott's comments about being "very concerned", if he has an open door policy then those comments just don't add up but i liked everything Diggs had talked about, I think it's 1 of those love/hate relationships with him but that's just my opinion.

That truly sucks but we do have a bunch of options at RB, KR definitely took a hit for sure.

This kid is going to be a huge difference maker for us in the not so distant future, I still can't believe he fell to us. -

Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I once remember a poster on here saying he expects our #2 WR to put up 1,000+ yards, double digit TD. I did a 3 minute google search and came to find out that no WR2 hit those marks unless they had a QB on a rookie contract but a few teams came close. So the expectations are a bit unrealistic imo, I wonder though if Gabe didn't have the drops that he did would this be an issue? Or would some still think he's a mediocre #2 WR. -
This game was like watching Mind Craft but even more pixilated.

Receiving concerns on offense
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall
Patrick Mahomes has Marquez Valdes Scantling, Kadarius Toney, Sky Moore, Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice, If those were Allens receivers imagine what we'd be saying about our receiving options. This whole notion that we don't have enough weapons baffles me. Diggs is a top 5 WR in the NFL, Knox is a solid TE, Davis is so underrated by this board it's almost criminal, Shakir looked really good as a rookie when given the chance and add in Harty and Dalton Kincaid plus we have RB Nyheim Hines to throw to. Plenty of options at Allens disposal imo. -
Not a Cowherd fan at all but i have to agree here.... I like all the defensive moves they've made but we still have Spencer brown as our starting RT after being abused last season, I like the Connor McGovern pickup but he was a backup the past 3 years only coming in for injuries along the OL, loved the pickup of O'Cyrus Torrence but he's a rookie, 3 question marks at the position. Now if they hold up and become a juggernaught OL then obviously that's a huge win but if Allen is running around again getting killed then I think we're going to have an interesting offseason (not in a good way). I hope of course the Bills just kill it this season and win the SB to get the monkey not only off this orginization but for the fans also plus I'd really like for both McDermott and Beane to hold up that SB trophy since they've really turned this thing around.

I'd think most of those posters are fans of other teams just trying to get under everyone's skin.

To get a player of his caliber this late into FA is pretty remarkable. I never thought we had a shot since he would be commanding top dollar but I think a 1 year chance at a SB and to play with Von again will be ideal. I think we improved along the trenches on both sides of the ball this season which should elivate our chances at the big prize.

Yeah I really liked the Williams pick once I started reading more about him and seeing more games of his in College.

Right but that's also why he isn't being paid 80M for 5 years. He's definitely a disruptor but it doesn't always show up on the stat sheets.
