  1. I know it was said the Bills were interested in Asante Samuel Jr. in his draft year (who knows if true or not) but the cost to sign him might be a bit too high. If that goes awry I can see them re-signing Douglas who they have familiarity with and then draft a guy which they'll most likely do with 1 of their 1st 2 picks in the draft.
  2. Samuel is a poor tackler which is why he’s most likely still available and asking for a boatload.
  3. He only had 2 sacks for the Rams as a situational guy, he could play a bigger role here you never know. If they held back getting a generational talent like Garret or even Crosby and heck we’ll even throw in Hendrickson because of cap space then they’re in the wrong business. Although the cap is real it can be converted into signing bonus that yes hurts us down the road but we are in win now!
  4. None of the guys we picked up in free agency should change our plans. Palmer seems to be a decent player but I’d be hard pressed to believe he carves more of a role than say Samuel. Palmer was playing with a fairly good QB in Justin Herbert and had every chance to be the guy yet Herbert’s go to was a rookie slot WR. Also the DE/ Edge rusher we picked up seems more of a situational pass rusher which appears to be what he was in L.A. rather than a full time player. These are just my opinions but I’m sure I’ll get a lot of the eye roll emojis or x emojis from the people who know better.
  5. Paup had 32 sacks already before joining the Bills and this guy has 13.5. I'm not taking that bet at all but i'll be pulling for him and you (if you put down the $100 on him).
  6. https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1899273941316743383 1 year 10M I know there were some wanting to add him as a free agent.
  7. 4.2M for Mack Hollins?
  8. I like Cisco also I just think Holland is the more athletic of the 2. Yeah hendrickson is a pipe dream plus i doubt the bengals would trade him to us as we are a direct team in their path to a SB also.
  9. I agree I can only hope there is a trade or a decent signing like S Jevon Holland or a trade for Hendrickson but I'm not banking on it.
  10. His 1 TD should really help us get past those Chiefs. This signing is as much of a head scratcher as the Curtis Samuel signing but I'll of course hope to be wrong. Also another slow WR, he get's open yet only had 584 yards and 1 TD. These are the guys were surrounding the best QB in the league with?
  11. Where are you getting this information?
  12. Is he? Mack had 39 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and Von Miller had 17 tackles, 6 sacks, that doesn't seem to be a huge upgrade imo.
  13. True, we're definitely not used to guys who have 31.5 sacks the past 3 seasons on the roster.
  14. I'd like the Bills to snag S Jevon Holland and CB Carlton Davis. The Bills 1st order of business when McDermott was here was to shore up the secondary. Holland is very athletic, Carlton Davis is one of the better Man corners in the league and if the rumors are true that we might be going more towards this then Davis would be an awesome addition.
  15. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-news-roundup-latest-league-updates-from-sunday-march-9 3 year deal 43.4M Well that sucks!
  16. I don't think there is any chance you're getting landry for that low, he's an all pro who had 31.5 sacks the past 3 years, only missing 2 games. I'm going to assume around what Rousseau is getting.
  17. Harold Landry can be had without giving up any draft picks. I fully expect Hendrickson to re-sign with the Bengals also.
  18. As of now it looks like were just about 850K over the cap but were most likely a little bit under the cap since Beane said at the presser that the numbers were off at the time. So I did simple conversions on Dion Dawkins, Matt Milano, Ed Oliver and either convert or extend Allen and extend McGovern and we should free up about 41.3M I did a simple extension on Allen since I have no clue what a contract would look like for him but I'd think it would free up even more with a true extension on him. This is why I don't necessarily think the cap is not real but it can be manipulated every year and we have no excuses to be going for it each and every year (I don't mean blindly picking up old washed up free agents) calculated free agents who would help get us a ring. Out of all the free agents we have a legit pass rusher that just fell into our laps, all we'd have to do is pay him (No draft picks givewn up) in Harold Landry, 9/10.5/12 sacks the last 3 seasons and has not missed a single game the past 3 seasons either. This is the guy i hope the Bills acquire if they can't land the big fish (Garrett or Hendrickson).
  19. You get a 4 year deal and You get a 4 year deal
  20. I keep telling myself that he was a year behind development when he sat out the Covid year. I’m hoping he turns into the guy because that’s a lot for a guy who has never exceeded double digit sacks and who has trouble getting to the QB when we need him the most. I do like the player but with that pay raise he needs to become the main guy now, congrats Greg!
  21. Solid deal for both imo, now if he stays healthy we will all be saying it's a steal most likely.
