  1. Darby's ankle was dislocated but it didn't look good at all after watching the replay, I'd be surprised if he played again this season.
  2. How about the run blocking by Jordan Matthews? Wow, he was superb blocking for a WR, it was almost Hines Ward-like. I also love the fact we finally used Clay correctly, he didn't put up huge totals but he was a mismatch problem for the Jets all game. Micah Hyde will be a household name in no time especially here, the guy is just a superb overall player, Poyer also had a very good game. The DL is a huge concern, when Humber is your best pass rusher you have problems.
  3. I still can't believe what the Jags did to the Texans, the Texans and that defense allowed a rookie RB to have a field day on them? This defense looked legit without Watt, I thought they'd be damn near unstoppable with him, it's week 1 but not a good start for them.
  4. They'd be a perfect team to land the #1 pick, we would have the ammo to trade to get the pick and they would since they already have a franchise guy.
  5. It's not a terrible thing to sit back and watch, there's nothing like live action but I don't see how it could hurt him to watch for a year if that's the case.
  6. They saw something in Banyard they really liked over Williams, my guess is he could handle more of a workload if McCoy is injured? I'm not too worried about the backup position, even if Gillislee were still on the team he's a huge step back from McCoy and we'd be in trouble just like most teams who lose a top player.
  7. Tyrod will unleash his hand with the football in it to Shady McCoy about 32 times, then a few more times to Tolbert and probably a few to Banyard/Dimarco.
  8. They didn't look bad in 2003 when they lost to us 31-0? Or to the Dolphins in the opener in 2014 33-20? How about when the Pats were finished after getting destroyed by the Chiefs a few years back, then right back in the playoffs? Yeah they looked bad but lets give props to the Chiefs team, smothering the WR, when you have a S like Eric Berry covering Gronk it definitely helps, I fully expect Hyde to shadow him when we play. Maybe the Pats are finally done but we've seen this happen countless times and never seems to end, one day it will but the more logical explanation would be they got out coached this time around and expect the Saints to get a 50 burger on them, just my opinions which I hope I'm completely wrong since it would be awesome to see them crumble.
  9. I give more props to KC, that defense looks legit but huge blow losing Eric Berry probably for the season with a torn achilles. The corners were right up on the WR's and if you have a dominant S like Berry that's what you need to do against Gronk also, I don't think we have the secondary yet to do what KC did but that should be the formula for the season stopping the Pats for the better teams.
  10. We will be mediocre forever unless we get a QB who can win by throwing the football and not just with his legs. The only ways to do that are through the draft, free agency and trades... Usually if there's a franchise QB then there is no way he's on the market, free agents get to pick where they want to go (is this a realistic destination? no, imo), so that leaves the draft, this is said to be a really good crop of quarterbacks that could be coming out so it's no wonder the Bills are stacking up for this draft in particular. Once we get the QB the pieces will start falling into place naturally, we won't need a Sammy Watkins because our QB will turn the Jordy Nelsons/Reggie Cobbs into star players in the 2nd-4th round. If we miss, it's going to much more of the same, rinse, repeat but we can't just sit back and expect to win a SB with Tyrod Taylor, it can happen but you'd need a record setting defense along with a QB who doesn't turn the ball over much, solid run game and usually those teams are a 1 and done SB team.... Bucs/Ravens etc.
  11. It's still entertainment, we still have an NFL team, much like the fight between Conner McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, I knew what the outcome would be but it didn't stop me and my friends from ordering it and having a party, watching it because it was entertaining. Plus I want to see how high of a draft pick we get....
  12. You mean the same QB and WR who finished in the bottom 3 in passing in the league last season? That same duo? We were top 10 because our OL is prominant in run blocking and Tyrod can run the ball.
  13. Jeremy Langford would be an excellent pickup. Unfortunately the Bears went through a regime change also and he was replaced by Jordan Howard after Langford went out with an injury.
  14. Using YPA to prove how good a WR/QB combo is? How many wins did that equate to? How many playoff appearances?
  15. We can only hope to get the #2 pick in the draft.
  16. No doubt he was lucky but sometimes thats what you need, how many times has Brady been lucky? Tuck rule, gifted that INT on the goaline in SB, ATL never running after the 1st half of the game in the last SB, the list goes on and on. Gut feeling says this guy will be our QB next year.
  17. Well I had RB Jonathan Williams and Gerald Hodges on offense and defense to have breakout years LOL I'm going to go with Mike Tolbert on offense, he is going to mainly be the short yardage/goaline back and he should pile up the TD's in this run first offense. On defense S Micah Hyde, he's going to be Mr. everything in this defense from S to CB to LB, I can't believe GB let this guy go, he's going to be a special player for us, very excited to see him in a Bills uniform.
  18. I think it's best for Dawkins to sit and learn this year, he's raw as a RT, he needs adjusting time imo. Also I get the hate for Ducasse, the guy is terrible but to think Miller is this superb talent at RG is also ridiculous, great he was the most improved because he was down right Ducasse-like that's why he improved, I liked his play much better last season but both of those guys could be upgraded imo.
  19. Don't be nervous man, we are looking at a 50/65 carry game by all our combines RB's with or without a healthy Taylor. Power run game and solid defense all year long.
  20. it starts with 1...... 1-15, so we can finally get our franchise QB. Yes, I'm that guy
  21. Let's be honest, ridding this team of the past 17 years of mediocre scouts/talent evaluators and now former GM Doug Whaley's !@#$ ups can only be seen as a good thing for this team, we should have hit the reset button after Juron a long ass time ago. I'm not sure what people are so worried about, if we've picked the wrong GM/HC again then this thing goes down the shitter for another 5-6 years, we have been waiting 17 just for a playoff game, we are unbreakable as fans at this point imo.
  22. I truly thought Williams was going to be the future RB of this team, still can be if he makes it past waivers (PS eligible), not a real fan of Banyard, he didn't look to have the same burst that Williams does, not going to fret over a player who will probably only have about 120 snaps though, hopefully he does his job when called upon, this regime saw something in him that made Williams expendable so I'll trust their judgement.
  23. People want change until change comes then they want it changed back. This is the greatest thing to happen in a very long time, lets see how it plays out 1st, the way I see it can't get any worse than what I've seen in 17 seasons, no witch hunt for a 3+ years.
