He and Schobel both belong there, not sure why there is as much hate for Schobel, he was a very good player on some really bad Bills teams.

That's ok you don't have to agree, you gave your opinions and I gave mine, it's a healthy back and fourth with 2 people who are a fan of a football team and we obviously want the team to be successful. I never said Beane has full control but he stated in his Press Conference and elsewhere that he has control of the roster, I'm sure McDermott has insight as well and I've stated as much so the ignorance comment is just you not reading everything I wrote. Ok McDermott signed a backup RB and a QB, who's choices were to resign Taylor to a small contract, Jay Cutler, trade for a bridge QB so they made the wrong choice and should have signed Cutler, he can make up for that by drafting a franchise QB in this years draft . I have no narrative, I want the team to win just like every other fan on here but I at least have the Steelers to fall back on but some fans only have the Bills and I feel for them.

I think you're just getting the HC and GM duties confused, I get it you're sick of losing but those players we traded away wouldn't have been the difference for us winning or losing most likely. Were just not talented enough right now but I have faith that this regime will draft and pickup the right players who fit what they do, no doubt in my mind and we'll finally get the "right" QB in the draft.

Shouldn't Dareus be vilified here? How many pot smoking incidents? How many times was he so lazy he couldn't even get to meetings? The guy needed a change of scenery obviously but you're acting as he was some dominant force this season for us, he had like 12 tackles and a sack or something ridiculous at the time of the trade while being paid a boat load of money. Obviously not having the stench of him in the locker room sucking the life force of the rest of the defense was better off than Dareus being on the team. And your comment about this team being ran by a glorified HS HC is ridiculous, do you see this talentless team? Were still in the playoff hunt with a mediocre QB, an inept OL, a running team in a passing league, no name Linebackers and a front seven without "your" elite Dareus in it, that is outstanding HC imo, the only thing that can top it is a trip to the playoffs which isn't out of the realm of possibility but not looking likely.

Tyrod taylor will not be a Buffalo Bill next year in any capacity. If he is this team will sink into despair for god knows how much longer.

I saw 2 picks by Peterman that weren't his fault, unfortunately we won't get a chance to see if he can rebound from those mistakes he made and now were going to see Tyrod Taylor, the guy we know can't lead us to the playoffs.

Josh Rosen will be the selection imo, It will most likely cost our 2 1st round picks and our 1st next year but I'm completely fine with that if/when he turns into Goff/Wentz type of player. I think the 49ers will own the #1 overall pick by the end of the year.

Whining at it's greatest, no coach owes it to fans to let us know what's going on, if you can't see it with your own eyes then your just blinded. This team is in constant rebuild every year, until they find a QB it will always be a rebuild until then and it shouldn't be a secret, if you have eyes you should know this by now.

It's hard to debate with fans sometimes because most of the time they answer their own question... If Tyrod was good enough he would make the targets around him better and not the other way around, if you have to surround him with HOF WR for him to still be average then he's been average all along but in reality he's never been more than a serviceable QB yet somehow fans thought he was going to turn some switch and it was miraculously going to happen, almost all the time you can see the transition quite fast, then you have guys like Goff who needs a year or 2 and then there is the diamond in the rough, the journeyman who becomes franchise (Rich Gannon).

I'm pretty sure they just got game film on him from the last game, the Chargers will be prepared and it will be a good test for Peterman imo.

I agree with others, he's been a class act here and seems like a great locker room guy but as a QB who need to be able to go through all the progressions and hit your targets and he doesn't do that. It would be awesome if Peterman shows us right off the bat that we can build around him, I'm not expecting it but if it were to happen it would be a great relief and we could use those draft picks as a building block (WR/OL) or (WR/TE), many different scenarios.

Link to where we were offered anything for him? Otherwise this is just more bs without any facts to back anything up. Who was giving up anything for Tyrod taylor when garrapolo was only traded for a 2nd, we probably at best could have received a 5th but that is just me talking out of my ass since I have no clue either.

I'm really surprised about this news and glad to see a coach who isn't afraid to shake it up if things aren't working correctly, ego is a killer of a HC, good to see McDermott check his at the door. I'm all for the move and we'll see if Peterman starts a bunch of games whether he's someone we can build around for the future or just a decent backup type of QB, were going to find out at least, kudos to the coaching staff.

This BS right here is so disturbing as a fan, you understand Tyrod Taylor threw for 56 yards and 1 INT, the 15th reason we lost? The problem starts and ends with the most important position on the field and right now this guy is playing like he should be on the practice squad.

If nothing else let's see if were building around Peterman next season or were giving up the motherload for a franchise guy in the draft, I'd try and find out now but until this team is out of playoffs I doubt they make the move.

I laugh at those calling for changes in coaching or front office, I don't think people realize how bad Whaley !@#$ed up this roster, year 1 were purging the roster, year 2 will be bringing even more of McDermott/Beane type of players and by year 3 the roster should be almost entirely revamped. It's been 17 years and probably counting for us but they just got here, the fact they're over achieving with guys like Andre Holmes, Roman Humber, Lorenzo Alexander, Rookie Tre'Davious White and Nick O'leary. I mean just look at our LB core and on most teams those are special teams players or backups, I don't think this team has given up on McDermott at all, I just don't think they're talented enough to be a team like Saints/Patriots/Chiefs etc. unless they play a perfect game. The best thing to happen to us will be to lose unfortunately and I don't care what anyone says, a franchise QB is needed but if were bad enough we won't have to give up the mother load to get one, otherwise were probably giving up both 1sts and next years to get either Josh Rosen/Jackson /Darnold or whoever rises up the charts by draft day, Just my opinions.

It was a trade that needed to happen regardless for both sides, I don't recall anyone say we'd be better off without him, maybe some did.

I'm expecting a loss but hoping for a win, The Saints have a defense again to go with Drew Brees, it would truly take a flawless game on both sides of the ball for us to come out with a W imo.

He was a bust at Oakland, he redeemed himself later on as an actually pretty good guard to finish out his career.

This team has far exceeded what I thought they were capable of already, losing to the Jets hurt real bad but losing to the Saints wouldn't be a crusher for me, I expect it, they finally have a defense to go along with Drew Brees, they should beat us. Of course I hope they don't but there is a great possibility that they do.

You would still have a QB issue, apparently people still think Tyrod Taylor can throw a football effectively, poor souls.
