Not the USC QB, I meant Big Ben as the future HOF QB. -
[Please Change Title]Zay Jones
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to chef4131's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zay Jones had a rough year, made a bunch of rookie mistakes and I think sometimes that happens with small school products, especially when you have QB issues to boot. Schuster came from USC and then has a future HOF QB throwing to him, much different scenarios for both players imo. -
Pyschoanalyzing McDermott’s Coaching Ideology
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Dr.Sack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know I think he's doing very well with the tools he has to work with, some of the calls are conservative because we have a ****ty QB, I mean if we had a Brady out there would we have kicked a FG? I highly doubt it but we have a Tyrod, so it is what it is imo. -
the TT bashing is just so tiresome
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you think that Tyrod is good enough to win then there is no help for you man... All those QB's you mentioned are better than Tyrod, all of them and they aren't throwing to HOF WR either. He can't win a meaningful game, lets see if he blows it against the Dolphins also, this guy is just bad with the game or anything of meaning is on the line. The game totally changed when Tyrod took that terrible sack for 15 yards. -
I enjoy all the stats and time put into this but I did not need any of this to see that he's a bad QB, he hasn't gotten us anywhere since his arrival and will probably blow the last game of the year, he isn't good enough and there is no need to go into what he isn't good at, we all know what those are even if some are still in denial.

[Misleading Title]Chargers QB benching
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Bing Bong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod Taylor had 2 stinker games in a row, it was the right call to make, had it gone right then we wouldn't be having this conversation now but it backfired, I still like the call. -
He's been compared to Tyrod Taylor by you, no expert that I read sees Tyrod Taylor in him, it's more of a Michael Vick with a better pocket presence and accuracy. Like I've stated I'm not a huge dual threat QB fan but this guy seems like he's a difference maker with both his arm and his legs.

I think alot of people are undervaluing QB Lamar Jackson, I don't see much hype for him yet but you'll start hearing his name more and more as the draft rolls around. I'm not usually a fan of dual QB's but this guy really looks like a difference maker (I thought the same about Watson also), the comparison to Michael Vick coming out is fair but Vick didn't have the accuracy and touch that Jackson has, just imagine an improved Michael Vick in his prime on our roster. He will need to beef up a bit more but that doesn't really concern me, it's always injury risk with dual threats but he seems like he has improved in folds standing in the pocket where he's cool, calm and collected this season and throwing over 60% comp, 25 passing TD, 17 rushing TD, this is the guy I envision Buffalo trading up for, comparing him to Tyrod Taylor would be laughable since he clearly gets the ball out quickly, throws into tight spaces and stands in the pocket with poise but these are just my own observations and opinions. No way would we get him where were drafting so I can only see a trade up scenario maybe with the 49ers or Browns second first round pick.

I tried but I'm a homer
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like your enthusiasm for sure, I'm not a negative nancy but I am a realist, the Pats will most definitely crush us again and there is no doubt about it in my mind. I of course hope it's not true and said the same thing about the Dolphins beating us so maybe I have some sort of reverse affect . Nothing wrong with being a homer, other than the fact that when we lose you feel dismal after. -
Hot Take: 2018 Quarterback
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My thoughts on this are.... If Tyrod Taylor or Kirk Cousins is our QB next year we get everything we deserve, this is the year to grab the QB we want to lead us into the future, we have the draft capital for the first time in forever and I couldn't care less if we burn next years 1st round pick if it means we finally struck gold at the most important position in football. We've selected 2 QB's in the 1st round of the draft (JP Losman/EJ Manuel) in 17 losing seasons, how is that even possible? This team never builds for the future and never has had a clue what to do about the QB situation, hopefully the right people are in place (Beane, McDermott, rest of staff) so we can finally get this thing right. I'm not sure why anyone would be "ok" at all with Tyrod Taylor leading this team next year or Kirk Cousins who has had 1 playoff season and is a 6-8 team this year with a best case scenario of 8-8, seems like alot of what we had in the past... mediocre, I want to be better than that, draft an elite franchise QB, who that QB is I don't know, that's what you pay the big bucks to the coaching staff and scouts for, time for them to earn the money. -
What type of Bills fan are you?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm 100% neutral, I can go off on the team just as much as I can praise them and it shouldn't be any other way. The fact that not 1 person put homer yet is laughable, I know many on here if you criticize the team in any way they want to take your head off "Gregg Williams" style. -
The LA Rams 2017 Turnaround
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a combination of many things, the got better play on the OL, they got rid of Jeff Fisher who is a team killer to begin with and replaced him with a bright, young offensive mind in McVey, adding Wade Phillips as DC was huge and although I'm not a Watkins fan the combination of he/Woods and Kupp takes the pressure off Gurley who is having a monstrous year and the #1 reason is because Goff took the next step needed as a QB, he is turning himself into a franchise QB for the Rams. -
Zay Jones right now is a bust
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm quite sure they also called Jerry Rice a bust those 1st 2 years in San Fran were brutal for him, he dropped many passes also so we know that can change, it just needs to click for him and it doesn't help that we have a glorified runningback throwing to him. -
He's played very well for a rookie this season imo, most games it looked like belonged and his skills will only get better with experience.

Possible return for the XFL?...
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with many, I think a spring league would be an excellent idea, when people still have football in their blood but have nothing to watch. There are a ton of players who just need a chance to showcase talents, for every Kurt Warner there must be 1,000's of others who just don't have a 2nd outlet to showcase, this would be an excellent way to do that. Like many have said, if McMahon doesn't make it into a mockery having guys named "he hate me" and what not and they take it serious but don't go up against the NFL, heck maybe they can even come up with rules that reduce blows to the head or a new helmet, should be interesting. -
Lets get crazy--Andrew Luck
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andrew Luck will be a Colt for most likely the best years of his career, the only way he's traded imo is if his shoulder doesn't hold up and if that's the case I'm not sure what you give a Qb with a messed up shoulder. -
Likewise.

The “Billsiest” way for the season to end
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think we'll beat the Dolphins, like you I want them to but I don't think we will. I hope I'm wrong.
