  1. If you're hearing the Bills are asking around for trade partners at the top of this draft it's for good reason, this is one of the deepest QB drafts in awhile and the Bills are in the market for one, from what I'm reading they'll be gone by the 17th pick of the draft and probably before (Allen, Rosen,Darnold, Mayfield and Jackson). This is the year to go up and get their guy, I'm going to guess they've done their due diligence on these guys and have them ranked where they'd take them. I doubt the Rams or Eagles are pissed what they gave up to get Goff and Wentz.
  2. Done? No I believe they sign a veteran QB (If this team pays Tyrod Taylor 18M then this staff should be examined for heavy drug use) and draft a QB, whether they stay put or trade up ( which I think they will) and also have Peterman as a developmental QB so they'll be set.
  3. So we just traded a big contract in Dareus who had motivation and off the field issues now were going to sign another DT to a big contract with motivational issues? Not happening imo.
  4. I'm not trying to stir any pot but I was excited when I saw we were getting the Giants high 2nd round pick for him. To get that type of return for a 30 year old RB making big money like that would be a heck of a haul, yes it would seriously hinder our team but I'd think this would all but ensure we trade up for a QB which I'd be super excited about. Time to be a pass first team.
  5. Not bad at all. I'll try FA signings.... WR John Brown- He's missed 8 games the past 3 season but when healthy he's dangerous, the missing deep threat. QB Josh McCown- Excellent veteran leader, would be a perfect teacher for any young QB we draft. ILB Christian Jones- The market value on brown is 8.4M per season, for a guy who had 0 sacks, fumbles, FR or INT that is way too high. Jones will be reasonable. CB E.J. Gaines- He will be our FA splash at 9.3M per season on average, that's alot but not when you have Tom Brady in your division throwing it all over the field. Draft I think both picks 1 and 2 are locks being Darnold and Rosen but the Bills should trade up and select Mayfield if both are off the board. He looks like a winner to me exactly how I felt about Deshaun Watson a year ago. This is the year of the deep class for QB but they will go quickly, we need to be one of the teams to get one finally and i would be happy with Mayfield, Allen or Jackson but I don't see any of them falling to 21. I'm pretty sure it will cost us both 1st and our 2019 1st but I'm good with that.
  6. The 2 I see that can take the top off a defense isJohn Brown and Taylor Gabriel, they should look at those 2 or just draft one in the later rounds imo.
  7. I don't get what the hype is with this guy, he can't even beat out noodle armed Dalton.
  8. You know who else dropped a **** ton of passes his rookie season? Jerry Rice, he was terrible to the point he was being booed by fans. It usually takes WR 3 seasons to finally get his game up to speed especially a small school product. A good example, Eric Moulds had 20 rec, 279 yards, 2 TD in his rookie season, 29 rec 294 yards and 0 TD in year 2 , 67 rec, 1,368 and 9 TD year 3.
  9. I obviously misunderstood, it's been known to happen before , I'd be equally excited with Rosen, Darnold Allen and Mayfield if we traded up but I hope the guy we stay away from is Mason Rudolph. I have no clue why people are saying he's a 1st round QB, Mayock even has him in his top 5 but his arm is nowhere near good enough to be a top 5. I know his stats are impressive for deep ball accuracy but watch his full games, James Washington is wide open many times from busted coverages and even then his noodle arm causes Washington to slow down to catch his passes, I hope the Bills stay away from him, I'll support it if they select him and hope I'm wrong of course if they do.
  10. Give me RB John Kelly of Tennessee all day long, I want a RB who runs angry, dont get me wrong I appreciate everything McCoy is but I want that guy who not only like to hit but enjoys being hit and thrives off it and that's Kelly, plus he hasn't taken a pounding like these other backs... he's a 4th-6th round prospect I'm reading/hearing. I hate highlight videos because it only shows the good not the bad and the ugly, he has limitations for sure but I love angry runners, the music sucks but watching this kid bust through tackles, throw a guy to the ground or get hit then bounce up and talk **** gets me pumped and he's only like 5'9", 205 lbs.
  11. It's obvious you don't like Jackson, you're entitled to your opinion but you state he pads his stats in garbage time against backups, so you show one 30 second video of him throwing a pick 6 and in the video it said it was his 1st interception in 128 pass attempts. His OL was pretty bad also and he did very well, I love his game against NC State, he had constant pressure all game long and I thought he did a heck of a job hanging in the pocket and slinging it all over the field. He's Michael Vick with a stronger arm (not just my words, Mike Mayock stated the same on NFL.com) and Mike Vick went #1 overall back in 2001. I see all these top QB's gone by 17, if we want 1 of them the Bills will need to trade up imo.
  12. He had a rough 2017, injury riddled the past couple of years and have taken it's toll on him, I'd much rather have Gaines at this point, I mean I can't see him making astronaomical money, pay him what he's worth.
  13. That article is a terrible response imo, aren't you supposed to take the best player available and scheme around that players strengths, especially the QB? I mean Russell Wilson and Dak Prescott both come to mind right off the bat, Lamar jackson will be the same way. You scheme fit these QB's and put them in the best situation to succeed.
  14. Gaines, Yarborough and O'Leary are the only ones I'd be interested in, all those others are very much replaceable. Meatball is a great leader but his 3 sacks are very much replaceable.
  15. To say Rosen has durability concerns might be a fair accusation but lack of pocket presence? That has never been a knock on him, where did you hear such things?
  16. This isn't even close to being true, he lined up all over the field for East Carolina but he was mainly an outside WR, he just made most of his catches over the middle, short slants in the middle of the field. I don't know where you got that from but you're wrong.
  17. 1st off if were hearing that certain guys are favored by our coaching staff it's probably a smokescreen or a lie, it's that time of year for all of that. If we can move up and select a QB which I think we'll do and Cleveland hasn't selected Darnold, that means they took Josh Allen/Mayfield or Jackson because from what I read, Josh Rosen said he refuses to play for Cleveland, I would rather have Rosen over Darnold but I'd be happy with any of those guys (Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Jackson or Allen).
  18. You lost me at Urlacher is over rated and listing Adrian Peterson over Barry Sanders or Emmitt Smith. BTW Jim Brown is the best RB of all time in any era.
  19. I think that was more due to him struggling his rookie year but you may be right.
  20. I don't think this is true, the Bills didn't waste a 2nd round pick on Zay Jones to be a slot WR, Jones and Benjamin are our outside WR's, I think we'll be looking for that deep threat slot WR either in the draft or FA imo.
  21. Absolutely, if not for the injuries this guy wouldn't even be available to another team.he has 101 TD, 57 INT, 62.5 career comp. %, anyone who can get a full season out of him will show his true worth but like many state, will he ever go a full season, I think there needs to be an injury clause in there somewhere if possible.
  22. If theres a Joe Webb package play imagine what they'll do with the Lamar Jackson package playbook?
  23. No draft is going to fill every position, there is FA, trades and undrafted rookie free agents. If our scouting department doesn't suck like the last one we had under Whaley then logic says go for the big fish and the rest will fall into place. I hate giving up any picks to move up either, I highly doubt in this deep class that a QB will be there for us. Some are thinking Rudolph or Jackson will just fall, there are many needy teams and then you have dark horse teams like Pittsburgh, SD , New Orleans who have older QB's and they'll need to address the situation soon also. Right now I'd say there's no great need than QB imo. Hell I could even see the Patriots moving up this year and drafting Brady's heir apparent once again.
  24. I thought when we traded with the Chiefs last season this is the QB we'd get all along, Rosen has been my QB of choice since last season. I thought sure we'd be bad enough to draft him on our own, I'm really glad the droughts over but it came at a very hefty price imo.
