  1. As a big Steelers fan that I am, we don't want him here. This guy is a train wreck, he's big, he's fast but he makes bone headed plays at crucial times. He is a joint away from never playing again, let him be another AFC East teams problem (not the Patriots), this guy is Josh Gordon 2.0, just my opinions from following the Steelers since the dawn of time.
  2. I like how you state a fact as if we've already lost to GB and MIN, I think you believe your own BS as well, scratch that, by your posts it's a fact that you do.
  3. I've been reading a bunch about this years QB class, many guru's, analysts and experts are saying that this is the best/deepest QB class they've seen since the 2004 group with Manning, Rivers and Roethlisberger. The odds of some of these guys falling are slim to none.
  4. You'll be back no matter what just under a different screen name, if you've gone this far with the team then it's inevitable. I wasn't excited about Davis at 1st either but the possibility that he can return to form, he was outstanding 2 seasons ago, I mean lock down, one of the best corners in the league outstanding. If he can rekindle even a small portion of that.
  5. So you already know the standings for the next 2 seasons with a rookie QB? How about we could possibly go 11-5 or 12-4 with a viable QB? It can be spun in any direction we prefer.
  6. Yeah I met him at a few signings, really good dude, I actually asked him where his bills logo haircut was and he said "The girl wasn't having it" LOL.
  7. I don't know, his injury wasn't a tear, the bone was dislodged from what I read. That may never be good again, then again Bridgewater never really did much when healthy.
  8. Unless we pickup a bunch of Roman Humber types. I don't want to even think about that but at least he gave us a QB.
  9. This is actually great for us. After Brady retires we'll be playing all of ex GM Doug Whaley's ****ty pics twice a season. He makes alot of tackles behind the line. He didn't have a single sack or takeaway if I'm not mistaken.
  10. Denver makes the most sense imo, the former QB, John Elway will take care of him, pretty sure they'll select a G or OT at pick 5, they already have 2 very reliable WR in Demarrius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders they just need someone to throw them the ball. The defense was still really good last year.. 3rd in the league in total yards allowed, 4th in passing yards allowed and 5th in rush yards allowed so they have decent pieces in place now they need the QB before the window closes with guys like Talib/Miller etc.
  11. This is easy.... S Leonard Smith.... Dude was probably the first to have an NFL logo haircut back when we were awesome.
  12. I think we need fresh , young legs behind Mccoy, we already pay a premium at the position, so a late rounder and undrafted rookie FA make sense, RB you can find all over.
  13. I just find it odd some fans say that CB E.J. Gaines is injured too much to pay him a decent salary yet praise the Vontae Davis signing? He has been injury prone the past 2 seasons. I like the signing but I don't think this will stop us from drafting another corner, not necessarily high but in general.
  14. I must say, I still think we draft a corner, because it's always a good thing but it probably won't come until later on. This secondary is really looking good with White, Davis, Hyde and Poyer, it's a great start. QB, OL, DL, if we work tirelessly on these particularly the QB position and then build from there then we'll be set.
  15. He was good 3 seasons ago, hopefully he still has it.
  16. I think we'd be lucky to get a guy of his caliber and I think his inaccuracy is more of a mirage, I know people will say this is an excuse, I myself believe the QB makes the players around him better but that Wyoming offense was god awful...Wyoming doesn't have a single offensive player that will be drafted... No OL, no TE, no RB, no WR that I saw or read about, that could very well have hindered any QB, I saw a totally different QB once he settled in at the Senior Bowl, he made many NFL throws and I know the other team isn't blitzing, I still think Allen can be a franchise QB. Although he lacked deep ball accuracy, he also threw more down field, not just little dump off passes to pad the stats although maybe they should have done more of that.
  17. I think many will be disappointed with FA thinking we'll land many big fish, I hope we don't go this route anyhow.
  18. I'm sure there were many scenarios laid out at the beginning of the season what direction they wanted to go for a QB, now will that QB sign here? For how much? Is it too much? If so next guy on the list. Same with the rookies, I'm sure Buffalo has contacted every GM at the top so if their guy falls, what will be the price to go up and get him imo.
  19. Why in the world , other than money would Cousins consider the Browns? The owner is a mess, OT Joe Thomas is excellent but at the end of his career, his best WR is a joint away from never playing again. I guess money talks but he can make money in a better situation. His best bet is playing in Denver with 2 very good WR, Not the best OL but they have some good pieces in place, they'll need a RB, TE to keep things honest.
  20. Rosen would be my #1 choice, i don't think we have a shot at him or Darnold as i think they go 1 and 2. So realistically I wouldn't trade up for Mayfield or Allen, I'd love for them to sign Sam Bradford and draft Lamar Jackson. You hope and pray Bradford can be healthy for a season because if healthy all year you have an accurate thrower who could possibly compete for this division and if not, if Bradford gets injured not only do i like Jackson and think he's dynamic but i think his legs will get him out of messes if need be but the ideal situation would be to have jackson sit in the wings and soak in everything like a sponge for a year or 2.
  21. I don't think many people understand that Mel Kiper's job isn't to guess which team players go to in mock drafts. He watches endless film on players, and by film I mean he goes through every college game that kid plays since his first start and gives them a # from 1-100, then ranks them how they should be choosen. Mayock is getting real good but Kiper is still the best in the business.
  22. By nothing around a QB do you mean Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, Charles Clay, Dion Dawkins, Ritchie Incognito and Cordy Glenn? I think people exaggerate the situation because they're afraid this team will pick the wrong QB? Not sure what the deal is but signing peoples castoffs seem to be the right route?
  23. You can't fix every problem, there is no team that's perfect they just mask the problems really well, if you have a shaky OL then you better have a scheme where your QB gets the ball out fast. If we pick another Cyrus Kouandjio it will be another 3 years and a cloud of dust before we choose a QB ,probably hiring a new HC also.
  24. I'd give up our entire draft just to choose a franchise QB who we can have for 12 years not 5 years. I just want this team to actually hit on that position in the draft. Cousins is a fine QB but it makes me weary that Washington had him in house and didn't think enough of him to resign him to a big deal and Snyder loves blowing his money on players. This isn't just one you can chalk up as poor management, there have been several talking heads who say they wouldn't shell out big bucks for him.
  25. They should like Josh Allen, big arm, decent feet, NFL frame, better mechanics and will probably need time behind a veteran for at least a season but you'll hear the Bills linked to every top QB. It is interesting though on that chart that the Bills scouted everyone but Josh Allen, maybe they've been doing a bunch of homework on him to not tip their hand? We shall see in April.
