  1. I'm very impressed with these signings. Getting Vontae Davis under 5M, if he's even close to his form 2 seasons ago we got a real solid pickup there, Chris Ivory is going to be the goaline back and change of pace back that Tolbert wasn't, he plays violent and I like that. Odigzuwah hasn't panned out but could just need a life change, this might kick it into gear for him, man if we can even get a rotational pass rusher out of him it would be decent and these signings don't mess with our comp picks which is a huge bonus and it's nice to finally have a regime who values those picks for once.
  2. He was healthy last season and he was just a good player, I don't think he'll ever be elite unless he goes to NE, the Packers or Pittsburgh imo. The tools are all there, not sure whats wrong with him, maybe he's too much of a diva? Not sure but something seems off because he has the hands, speed etc.
  3. I don't have a problem with this. there are so many resellers for season tickets and they don't care who they sell to (not saying that's you). He still said you can go to individual games so I'm not really sure what your gripe is other than the fact that you wanted to resell your tickets.
  4. I'd put Sammy Watkins over Jordan Matthews. I don't think any team will pay Matthews #1 WR money but some team will vastly over pay for Watkins thinking he's a #1 and maybe he'll turn out to be but right now he's been a huge disappointment as the #4 overall pick.
  5. To test your reaction? See what your answer is? My guess and it's only a guess is that these players will be going in front of the media and in front of cameras , it will be unscripted, maybe to gauge how they'd answer questions that were off the wall. I'm not saying I agree with it but the NFL is a different animal.
  6. I agree about the race part, it's stupid but they do refer to running QB's as "projects" quite alot. Is he not a very good passer? His WR/TE as a group had 38 dropped passes (I believe that's what I read), I'm not sure what % of those passes were catchable or poorly thrown but let's just take half of those dropped passes (19), what would his completion rate be with the extra 19 catches?
  7. Good luck shutting people up on a message board... I'm not bad mouthing him but Foles has never been "the guy" and when he was other than that 13 game start in Philly he's been less than advertised. I mean at this stage of his career it will be hard pressed to believe that he just turned into a better QB than he was before am I wrong ? There is only 1 QB I can remember who seemed to be a journeyman his whole career then turned into a franchise QB and that's Rich Gannon so it can happen.
  8. I'm not sure what you're having trouble with, the NFL scouts/staff are giving them Psychological evaluations is what I just said that is what's similar.
  9. These are the same lines of questions our own police force uses as a way to see how you react out in the field. The psychological exam for State Trooper would ask you far worse questions than these.
  10. I wouldn't be opposed to this at all, I'm personally not a fan of Mayfield but if this staff identifies him as franchise caliber I'm on board for sure. then to get Phillips and Evans, can't really beat that draft.
  11. I would take any coach other than the one who walked out on my team for greener pastures after talk about the team as a family, just looking at him makes me ill.
  12. Mock drafts are supposed to be fun opinions and of course most of them suck, if they could predict the future they wouldn't be using it for mock drafts, well I would but that's besides the point.
  13. I wouldn't mind Allen but the question with him is, is he better as a rotational player or can he be a player you can count on every play? I really like DaQuan Jones from the Titans. He plays with power, he was a 3-4 DE there coached up by Dick Labaeu, he plays the run very well and can get to the QB. He'd be a solid player here and will probably be a bargain on the open market imo.
  14. Ok I was wrong... He had Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt at WR and Todd Gurley at RB. Not the greatest arsenal of weapons but 7 TD and 10 INT even with that group is pretty bad. I don't know I don't see him being this good for an entire season since he hasn't yet ever in his career, just my opinion.
  15. 2nd year QB Jared Goff had no problem throwing to the dumpster fire, it was virtually the same team with Watkins inserted was it not? And isn't the QB supposed to make the WR around him better not the other way around? And KC had such a great starter in Alex Smith that they shipped him off to Washington in favor of a guy who had 1 career start. My guess is if they would have saw anything in Foles as a potential starter they would have kept him in KC regardless of how well Smith was playing, Reid knows how to handle the situation. Foles looked like the next great QB in the playoffs, unfortunately from game to game that isn't the Foles you'll be getting imo.
  16. Another bridge QB who got hot at the perfect time, He was thrown out of L.A. and KC (He didn't even see the field in KC). Taylor isn't a good QB so you can name quite a few QB's who are better, Foles is only a marginal upgrade imo, he will disappoint as soon as he's named starter like he has up until the playoff run for the Eagles.
  17. The Mike Vick comparisons are closer than Tyrod comparisons.
  18. I'm just curious, you think Rosen, Allen, Mayfield and Jackson are risky but not the guy who fumbled 21 times?
  19. Honestly what would Takeo Spikes, Leveon Bell, Deandre Hopkins be good for if our QB can only get us 3 points in a meaningful playoff game? This is supposedly the deepest QB draft since 2004 and we should take DL or OL? At what point will we ever get a chance to get a franchise QB? Some experts say there are 4-5 in this draft, most drafts there are 1 maybe a 2nd, there is 0 reason to bypass QB this year unless we get Kirk Cousins which is very unlikely imo.
  20. Yes, where in the world can we find a DE that can make 44 tackles, 4 sacks in a single season, he's irreplaceable. It's obvious you like trolling the board but at least make your posts believable.
  21. I don't recommend going crazy in FA, it almost never works out. I remember the NYG a few years ago spending all that money in free agency on the defense aand they were 1 and done in the playoffs, losing to the Packers I believe. Smart signings, get lucky and hopefully get a James Harrison type, that rarely happens but it can happen, look at Lorenzo Alexander.
  22. I still think they pick up a RB either in the draft or undrafted rookie free agency. Ivory will be the back that Tolbert was supposed to be and failed so I'm not sure why people are hating on the deal, he's older but doesn't have anywhere near the mileage of a featured back, this is a good thing for us especially when we add a rookie QB, these runningbacks will be his security blanket until he gets acclimated to the NFL imo.
  23. He isn't a franchise QB, has proved that at multiple stops, he had that 1 good season on Philly and got hot in the playoffs. He will come down to earth once someone spends a 2bd round pick on him, hopefully it's not the Bills imo.
  24. Good stuff although you have the Bills taking 2 second round picks after you traded one away. FA Signings : DT DaQuan Jones (TEN)- He'll be 27, he was a 3-4 DE at Tennessee, solid pass rusher, strong. Star Louteleilei is not good VS the run or pass. RB Damien Williams (MIA)- He's 26, showed a nice mix of power and speed, looks like a Gillislee type of back. WR John Brown (ARI)- He will be our compliment slot/speed WR, a few injuries the past couple of years but he's been quite productive with average to below average QB play once Palmer was injured. Re-signs: DE Kyle Williams, WR Deonte Thompson, LB Ramon Humber, Leonard Johnson Draft Same as you I'm hoping it's Rosen and the exact same trade you have listed. RD1- QB Josh Rosen- I think he's by far the best QB in this draft class. RD2- ILB Darius Leonard- South Carolina State- he was all over the place at the senior bowl, he's a play maker, excellent in coverage or as a pass rusher, needs to get in the weight room and just go to work since he's only 6'2' 213 lbs. but he can play at any LB position. RD3- DE Rasheem Green- USC- Green would make a solid rotational pass rusher to start out with Hughes/Meatball coming back hopefully for another season. RD4- WR Daurice Fountain- Northern Iowa- Fast, productive, big, with decent hands who really looked good at the east-west shrine game. RD5- CB Dane Cruiikshank- Arizona- Tall corner at 6'1" 206, 4 INT in 2017, 5 passes defensed, had a good senior bowl, ran a 4.44 40 time which is better than expected. RD5- LB Anthony Winbush- Ball State- This kid is always all over the place, this is where we landed Matt Milano who I thought had a solid rookie season for us. Winbush can be our Milano and he has a cool name... Win-Win!
