  1. True but I think the rationale was why give up his body for the pay, total speculation it just came across like that looking at his tweets imo.
  2. The Bills tried to lower his salary and he thought he was worth more, just my opinion.
  3. Not sure why people think McCarron has the best chance, dude started 3 games. Is he some Wiley veteran after those games? This is Allen's job to lose imo. He has to beat out 2 noodle armed QBs.
  4. It's funny, when PFF criticizes our team many blow off PFF as being a sham yet the same posters use them when trying to prove a point. I get the criticism with Josh Allen but Tremaine Edmunds was robbery, so was harrison Phillips, they were both projected to be gone where they went, Phillips was a projected late 1st, mid 2nd round prospect.
  5. I do box breaks all the time, my own on youtube and for fun on Ebay, He will never be as high as he is now since the season didn't start yet and 2018 football just started coming out so you have a very rare card, his 2018 panini Contenders just with the auto is selling for 1,999 without the patch of the mustang on it, I think I'd list that Majestic card at $1,999 while also using the best offer feature, I think at the very least you'll get a solid offer. Congrats on the pull btw, **** like that doesn't happen to me either unfortunately lol
  6. I didn't have just 1 guy who I liked , like many others on here did, I thought Josh Allen was a great pickup and they finally addressed the QB position with a top 10 pick (1st time in franchise history) so I love what they've done. I won't sit here and say I know what QB's will be great or not, I loved Blaine Gabbert, thought cam Newton was a gimmick QB who might have 1 good year in him, thought no way Russell Wilson was going to make it at his size but it's not all hard luck for me as I thought Jimmy Clausen would be a giant bust in 2010, I felt Aaron Rodgers was a much better prospect than Alex Smith, I thought Deshaun Watson and stated it on here would be the best QB in that draft class and thought Big Ben was the best QB from the 2004 draft before that actually happened although some would argue it's Eli.
  7. If we're going to take a 3rd rounder in the 1st then we're !@#$ed with this regime but there is 0 way of knowing this for sure.
  8. The guy walked out on his team and didn't have the balls to confront the team, he texted them, that guy is complete dog ****.
  9. If all these QBs coming out are risk, which they are then you go with the biggest size so he can withstand the beating, the biggest arm to play in all weather conditions and throw in the running ability as an added bonus, think big and hope for the best imo.
  10. She can only be here 6 months out of the year to qualify for the tax break they get for residing in Florida. I'd have to believe at some point that will be an issue. I'm really glad Russ is out but I feel the same with Kim as President of both, those positions should be filled with qualified people imo.
  11. It would be great if McCarron was the answer, although there hasn't been a franchise QB from that program since 1966- Kenny Stabler.
  12. I don't see Josh Allen as a "debacle" much like I didn't see J.P. Losman as a debacle, I thought ok, the guy has an arm now lets hope he has the smarts to get it to those guys, it didn't work out but i can't fault them for trying, they never tried to move up for Roesthlisberger and it was their downfall in that draft, they traded up for Allen which speaks volumes to me and they choose him over the "more pro ready" Josh Rosen, they obviously think that what needs to be worked on is correctable so my reaction now is we finally got our QB of the future and now we can only hope that's true much like I thought Losman was and much like I had hoped EJ Manuel was but that was a long shot in my mind at the time.
  13. I'd say it's way too early to give up on Zay Jones, the guy was a solid WR but for a small school, let's see how he does in year 2 before giving up on him, it usually takes WR that 3rd year to turn the corner.
  14. You don't and he isn't... Goff was 10th in the league with 3,804 yards passing, Tied for 5th in the league with 28 TD passes, 5th in the league with a 100.5 QB rating, none of those stats are middle of the pack, he was a top tier QB in the league last season, please if you're going to knock players at least take 30 seconds to check to see what you're spewing is right.
  15. Most? QB Josh Allen Least? S Siran Neal- He's not a bad player I just thought we could have gone a different route. Which Picks start? Allen (at some point), Phillips (in rotation), Taron Johnson (nickel/dime) Post 3rd with best chance to start? CB Taron Johnson at nickel Won't make the team? Wr Austin Proehl Will Josh Allen start? I think he'll be our starter at some point. Satisified with Bills draft? Absolutely, I think the future looks excellent.
  16. Solid post OP, I'd also add we all know what both Beane/McDermott now see as a franchise QB.
  17. Sorry man I get these are your opinions but this screams of the Bills didn't take the QB I wanted so they're going to suck for 17 more years type of rant. So in your scenario we could of got an OT, so he's protecting our 5th round FA QB? And a WR (DJ Chark) with no franchise QB in place and state he'd start day 1, you saw how ready Zay Jones was starting day 1 yet Chark who's a 1 trick pony is going to field bombs from AJ McCarron? Man if you could only read what you're writing and how ludicrous it sounds.
  18. I'm a big football sports card box break guy... Here's a box break from Panini, Harrison Phillips shows up for an appearance and the guy next to him shows him his auto and gets all excited to see his card pulled, reading his stats then sits over there and starts opening packs, seems like a very down to earth dude. skip to 40:24 mark to see Harrison Phillips.
  19. Beane explained we are rebuilding, Rome wasn't built in a day, there are going to be holes at positions but they made the playoffs (albeit it on a last second miracle play) last season with what I feel was a worse group of players then they have now, adding Trent Murphy, Tremaine Edmunds, Star Louteleilei, Vontae Davis to the group makes me think this defense may be one of the better ones in the league when it's all said and done imo.
  20. I mean you can say all the big armed mobile QB's sound like JP Losman or EJ Manuel, there is no telling until he gets on the field. You can also say the guy can wow you and make you completely frustrated in the same breath, who am I? Brett Favre. I'm not a homer or koolaid drinker like some fans will say, I've watched Allen the past 2 seasons and I see alot of Brett favre in him where on 1 play you'll say what were you thinking man and then the next you're like my goodness what a pass right in the bread basket, I think he's going to be a stud QB in the league, it's just my opinion and I know many who disagree and I'm cool with it.
  21. Unless we had Mayfield pegged then we had our choice of pretty much all the QB's, if Buffalo was giddy about Darnold, we could have traded the mother load to NYG, we chose Allen over Rosen/Rudolph/Jackson so I'm pretty sure they felt they got the guy they wanted all along. It just looks like fans like yourself liked a certain QB, they didn't pick him and you're bummed about it. I feel like Allen was probably the guy from the start to finish and now we know what this regime sees as a franchise QB, if they're going to swing for the fences then the QB is going to be mobile with a big arm and high ceiling.
  22. I thought Harrison Phillips was an absolute steal in the 3rd round, this guy is a hard worker, strong as an ox, smart and seems like a class act. I loved our top 3 picks , the G Teller was pretty darn good also, I think he'll at the very least light a fire under those other guys since he seems to be another high motor type imo.
  23. It's not a great Oline but not the worst either, I thought both Teller and De Beer were solid gets for us, teller will most certainly push those in front of him imo but in the end I think the Oline you have listed is exactly what it will be at the start of the season LT Dawkins, LG Groy, OC Bodine, RG Miller, RT Mills.
  24. If Allen beats out Peterman/McCarron cleanly he'll be the starter but like Beane said in the presser he's way behind the other 2 already so it will be all up to Allen, how well he's able to adapt, learn and process everything that he will be given and make it work on the field with reps. I cannot wait to go watch him in training camp, I hear it's a hell of a lot of fun watching him throw 60 yarders effortlessly.
