Why would anyone blame Allen? If anything I just saw how tough as nails he was, he should of had a concussion after sack #2, I think he lasted until sack #4 and this was the only reason I didn't want him starting this year. I definitely think we'll be in the market once some OL get the axe when they make roster cuts.

They were in a vaniilla base defense almost all game, I think i saw 3 or 4 corner and safety blitzes all game long, that will be totally different come game time imo but who knows, hopefully you're wrong, Vontae davis looked very suspect, White and Poyer were just as bad.

Teller and Mills played good today. Clay just looked lost, I remember him going out to block on a screen pass to Murphy and he went to go block a defender and just whiffed on him right in front of him, so many bad plays today, Vontae Davis wtf? You grabbed the guy and he still catches the ball and deeks out not only Davis but our so called leader in the secondary Poyer? I'll just chalk it up as a very bad day but the OL needs to be purged, I'd rather see some aging vets than these guys who have no ability to block.

Saying the defense will be mediocre in preseason just doesn't make much sense, were not showing our cards against teams, very little blitzing etc., basically a vanilla base defense so I'm not too worried but that OL is going to get many injured for sure.

I just keep wondering how Vladimir Ducasse still has a job in the NFL, that guy has been getting QB's killed since I can remember, that play where they showed him getting manhandled and pushed back all the way into Josh Allen should get him cut, play after play with that guy and he's a G, time to find some other stooge to take this stooges spot and this is why I didn't want Josh Allen starting year 1, this OL is going to get him dead.

If there is even a chance you trade the motherload.... we have the QB, now we can have the QB of the defense who actually wants to be here, I can't even talk football with those who even mention jerry Hughes and Khalil Mack in the same breath, Mack has 40.5 sacks in 4 seasons and Hughes has 39.5 in 8, there is no real comparison at all, the pass rush we'd have would be unreal with Murphy, Mack and Louteleilei up the middle and meatball when he comes back. It probably wouldn't transpire anyways but people even questioning this is just hilarious to me. Maybe we need to relive the 2 Superbowls with new England/Giants, ask the Giants if they regretted the contracts of Strahan or JPP which I'm sure both were pretty high at the time.

I just don't want to see Allen get shell shocked behind this OL, it's quite bad, Ducassee/Bodine shouldn't even be backups let alone starters. They should beg Ritchie Incognito to come back and have Groy at C, since that won't happen maybe it wouldn't be a terrible Idea to have Peterman/McCarron killed for 1 season why we fix the OL completely.

It's pretty easy why they offered a 2nd rounder, Schottenheimer worked as his OC, he wouldn't need to transition the whole season and after watching a few of the Colts games Brissett actually looked pretty good.

I'm hoping for better than Kelly/Reich but I'm excited about Allen, he looks really poised out there.

Let's face it this team overachieved mightily last season, I'm pretty sure the Bills front office thought they'd have the #1 pick in the draft or at least top 3, like most of the fan base did even if half didn't want to admit it. They obviously didn't value Mahomes or Watson as high as the fans here did but it would have been interesting to see if they liked Trubisky if he were there. I don't really get the love for Mahomes, he's coming from a shotgun style throw 60 passes a game type of competition where at least Allen played in a pro style so the transition won't be as tough for him, Mahomes may turn out to be great but I always thought and you can go back and see what i posted about Watson and how we should take him at the 10th spot. I'm totally cool with Allen and I like what I've seen from him so far, he has that gun slinger mentality that I like but he doesn't seem to be wreckless yet at least.

Did Josh Allen really have any competition from the get go? Let's be honest, AJ McCarron couldn't beat out an average (good but not great) Andy Dalton and Peterman may be a decent QB someday but I doubt he'll be a starter at any point, maybe a Frank Reich type? Allen has the arm and escapability to get himself out of trouble, I would have liked to see him sit a year and just soak it all in but he's the best chance for us to win and it's quite obvious at least imo.

Well we now have our Speed WR at a cheap price and signed for 2 seasons with a 5th year option? He didn't do much with kessler at QB and then got injured last season with RG3/Kiser last season, here he'll be a solid WR 2 or slot WR, however they decide to use him.

I think you're wrong, David Carr had plenty of talent, that guy got his ass kicked every game, yeah he had Andre Johnson to throw to but when you only have 2 seconds to throw the football nobody would be able to succeed that way.

This defense is obviously going to carry us but if we can at least have a game managing offense that controls the clock then I just can't rule out playoffs, it's a stretch but at least 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7 seem more feasible.

Shouldn't it just be the same as last years 7th overall pick? I thought there was a set amount.

I don't know they say he wasn't accurate but I then watch him at the Senior Bowl, they couldn't blitz but they were coming after him and he threw some of the best passes I've seen in very tight windows that i see Brady, Manning etc throw all the time, I'm not saying he is anywhere near those guys but there is no way to tell at this stage.

So you recognize that Eddie Lazy I mean Lacy has a weight and conditioning problem but we should sign him and he'd be a 1-2 punch with ivory? Sometimes you just have to read what you write and you can answer your own question. Chris Ivory has been a pretty solid back on both the jets and Jacksonville, he is no mcCoy but there are few like him, we will see if we've done enough as far as roster depth at RB to take the load off of any QB that starts for us.

I think the OL was overrated by our fanbase to begin with, Eric Wood was always just an average C, the only real loss that will be felt is LG Ritchie Incognito, he was a star OL. Bodine will fill Woods shoes and not skip a beat there (meaning he'll be just as average as Wood was). I think Groy will be solid no matter where he plays, not Incognito level but consistent, Miller and Mills or whoever plays at RT will be the weak links. Dawkins looks like he'll be a good one.

I'm expecting a stud OL, Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan, possibly steal Shaq Mason from the Pats like they have done to us numerous times.

I know alot of fans get angry when writers talk bad about our team but even McDermott himself said they over achieved last season, I think were better than a 2 win season and our defense should actually be improved imo but the offense is still in flux, the OL took a small step back losing 2 of our vets, there is 0 depth behind Benjamin and Zay Jones, if either gets hurt we will be relying on more late round rookies and failed veterans. I'm optimistic but i don't think were a playoff team this season, next season or the season after if Josh Allen has a year or 2 under his belt.

I haven't listened to that show in years, every time I'd tune in back in the day they'd be talking about basketball or some other rants that had nothing to do with the Bills or Sabres and I didn't like a single voice accept for Joe Bascalia who's now on the news station, not sure who this guy is but it seems like trying to get a ratings boost/publicity stunt type of thing.

He couldn't get the necessary credits from school before being labeled ineligible. He is a player I'd pursue and give up a 2nd round pick for, he could very well have been a 1st rounder in next years draft.
