I know these threads always make me laugh, like one poster said what good does a public meltdown do for this team? They know they were dumpster fire, the score was 47-3, do you really think they were sipping champagne and playing pool in the back room?

What is the first phone call Beane makes today?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Sky Diver's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So you think an average Landry Jones who doesn't know the playbook at all yet is a better option? The OL is garbage, we all pretty much knew that since the offseason so it doesn't really matter who's back there, it will be tough times until we start facing average defenses. -

If nothing else it looks like we found our Luke Keuchly on defense. -
[Vague Title] Richie, Richie, Richie SMH

This whole statement is a crock of ****... GM's, Coaches and owners get rid of players all the time for being "too old or "too slow" and the players say "it's just business" yet he didn't want to put his body through that after rethinking, your 9-5 job is nothing near this type of work so you can't compare the 2. -

Why is the fact that he accepted the pay cut a key part? Why is it a big deal that he rethought it and didn't feel like taking more of a beating on his body for less money? I don't fault the guy at all, why the Bills would ask a pro bowler to take a pay cut and have no backup plan in place is beyond me. -

He retired because the Bills asked him to take a pay cut and he said why would he play for less money and risk furthering his injuries, which is a very valid point imo. -
Judging Beane’s decisions so far

I don't agree with any of that but we all have our own opinions. -
Judging Beane’s decisions so far

You say lack of pass rush, the season hasn't even started yet, if you're basing that from preseason most teams play a base vanilla defense trying not showing their hands to the opponent in week 1. I will hold that thought of a lack of pass rush until some games have been played, we beefed up the DL with Phillips/Louteleilei and added Murphy at DE to go along with Tremaine Edmunds at LB and added Vontae davis at CB, I think it will take a bit for them to gel, that being said I think this defense will improve tremendously. -
Judging Beane’s decisions so far
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this team is being built the correct way, They seemed to have focused on the defensive side of the ball this year and next year I expect a complete overhaul of the OL in FA and the draft, possibly another WR if one doesn't emerge this year. -
Robert Foster is our speed WR whether we like it or not. Not everything can be built in a season, we have no depth but Benjamin isn't terrible and we still don't know what we have in Zay Jones.

Less concerned with O-line than most...
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Ducasse is in the lineup he's going to get our QB and RB killed, he is moved backwards on many plays, why this guy still has a job is baffling. -
I was never a fan of the McCaron signing to begin with, I couldn't believe we got a draft pick for a guy we were probably going to cut. I never expected much with him at the helm, I still believe Josh Allen gives us the best chance to win but don't want to see his career cut short behind a make shift OL, wait until next year when we draft and pickup a few FA vets. As long as were at least competitive from game to game.

Who is Beane’s next trade chip?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to GoodHands15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We're already projected to be a bottom of the barrel type team and I have to admit I really like this Murphy kid, I don't think he is McCoy but he could be. -
Who is Beane’s next trade chip?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to GoodHands15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure what the market is for McCoy maybe trade him to the raiders for a 1st and Donald Penn , hey they gave a 5th for McCaron so the skys the limit. -
I would think any pickup for an interior OL would come in the form of a trade, saying anyone is an upgrade to Ducasse isn't saying much, why fill Ducasse' spot with another like himself? There is no notable worthy cuts, Sua Filo got man handled on many plays, Warmack has been bounced from teams and so has Jonathan Cooper for obvious reasons.

Which player do you want the Bills to cut
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to BBills88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Vlasamir Ducasse, I've never seen an OL get manhandled by all types of different bodies, P Schmidt has looked awful, WR Andre Holmes is barely noticeable out there which is never a good thing. -
What areas of the team has Beane actually improved?
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So they have 1 bad day and now the DLine sucks? Man. it's preseason, they aren't showing their cards and all these defenses are playing vanilla. -

BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unfortunately GM Whaley had alot of garbage on the roster, we purged the garbage and now were trying to fill it in until we draft/pickup the non garbage. The purge took a year, now were slowly filling in the pieces... QB- check, RB- check, WR- incomplete, OL- big need, DL- check, LB- incomplete, secondary- imcomplete, Beane and McDermott have their work cut out for them but I think they're both more than capable of handling it. -
Disgusting and Depressing
BuffaloBillsGospel replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The OL has bad moments, I was watching Ducasse get man handled, did you not see the play where the announcer even says wow he gets pushed all the way back into Josh Allen? I thought Mills and Teller played decent.
