  1. Is this the same Eric Reid let go by the 49ers who are desperate for secondary help? Seems like alot of guys we have on the roster now...Average.
  2. Alabama wouldn't know what hit them, they'd be dominated in every facet of the game imo, kids playing against paid professionals, it' wouldn't be close at all.
  3. You take the best player in the draft, we have 80+M in cap space, I'm going to assume we will be adding WR/OL help, there won't be a pass rusher of Bosa's caliber sitting out in the FA market, if there is he'll cost you Khalil Mack money. Unless you're getting a redskins type of deal I'd keep the pick and take the best player.
  4. Can we really rank the offseason moves in week 2? That's like ranking the draft directly after it's over imo, they don't look particularly great but if we still have these problems by wekk 13 I'd say yes, How can any team think a player will retire on them mid game, they took a chance on a player and misse, same with a 7th rounder for Coleman, are you really going to fault them for trying? I'm just saying saying this in week 2 seems very premature to me.
  5. Fair enough although I don't think this is a tank, I just don't think we have enough talent yet at some key positions to compete but it's getting better imo.
  6. If he said it wasn't the players or coaching staff then why are the optics bad? The guy lost interest in playing, why can't it just be something as simple as that?
  7. We finally appear to have a QB, were hopefully about to land a top 5 pick with an abundance of draft picks and 80+ M to spend in FA and you want to bail now?
  8. So you always thought we were a playoff team with AJ MAcCarron, Josh Allen and Nate Peterman at QB? Maybe you've been a process guy from the get go?
  9. The goal last year was to bottom out, since that didn't happen it's going to be a long year but our rookie QB is getting hands on training probably a season earlier than the team wanted and so far there has been ups and downs but I like what I'm seeing so far. I expect a top 10 pick and it will help us in the long run, OT/WR should be the top targets when the pick is up.
  10. Maybe it will down the road if Allen doesn't pan out but his situation in KC is so very different than our situation, do you really think today that he would have thrown 6 TD passes? Be honest.
  11. Walter Jones Anthony Munoz Willie Roaf Orlando Pace Jonathan Ogden Those are my top 5 in any order it doesn't really matter they are all unbelievable.
  12. Dez Bryant? The guy who still doesn't have a job in the NFL and who got cut from a team desperate for a WR? That guy is trash even for 1 season. So you don't think the Bills would have to give up many picks for possibly the best RB in the game? it would most likely take multiple picks and then you'd have to sign him to the richest RB contract ever since his agent stated he's a RB and a WR, he's also 27 years old soon and coming off 2 major knee surgeries. Both those players are a waste here imo. I mean Bell would be awesome until after year 3 when he is a broken down old shell of himself who can barely run, we have a solid RB in McCoy and a guy who looks like he may be able to take over if given a chance in Murphy. Then we'd be doing this dead cap thing all over again with Bell and having to pay Allen/ Edmunds all at the same time I don't see it working.
  13. There is 26 pages of whining going on for a thread called "Bills release Jeremy Kerley", if that isn't going ballistic then what, a meltdown? Tempur tantrums? not sure what the correct word is there but critical? You're basing Murphy/Louteleilei and Davis all off 1 game of which Davis wasn't even in for due to injury so you have no merit yet on any of those players. Are you saying Mccaron was going to save us on Sunday had he been here? Did you see him in preseason or did you just watch some youtube highlights from him on Alabama? The entire fanbase knew this was a rebuilding year, the HC and GM have all pretty much insinuated it have they not? And you go out of your way to leave out some key components like Incognito and Woods both retiring prematurely which I'm sure were not in the plans and with the already dead cap those positions were never able to be filled properly. We finally have a HC and GM on the same page looking like they are steering us in the right direction and many of the fan base wants them gone, I can't wrap my head around it, we filled in some key positions in FA with adequate players, none of which elite but enough to make us at least appear competitive but it's been quite obvious were looking to lose for 1 more high and solid draft class next year and our rookie QB is going to get a jump start in his progression week 2, we can all beotch and moan about it or just hope our rookie QB improves every game and we can start watching him learn from his mistakes since that is all we really have to look forward to this season imo.
  14. If Josh Allen is the QB I think he is he's going to make guys like Holmes, Benjamin and Jones look like all star WRs out there, the WR doesn't make the QB, the QB makes the WR unless you have Jerry Rice on your roster, last time I checked there is no Jerry Rice. Jeremy kerley was never going to be a factor in this game, I get it that he was a veteran WR but that's all he was and nothing more.
  15. I'm trying to see what you guys are seeing, maybe I'm just not as objective as many of you I'm not sure. Ok we just cut a WR, promoted a DT from the practice squad and have to pay Kerley 1.13M who may even be brought back so what is the poor planning that you speak of if you say the bonus money isn't the option? I'm assuming they thought the DT was a more important than a WR with 2 catches 7 yards and a 3.5 avg, not trying to be a tool I'm just trying to wrap my head around why everyone is ballistic.
  16. That's with any job, if you're made the boss you bring in guys you trust (coaches) and you bring in employees you hand pick (players) to make the place run how you see fit correct? I don't think The coach or GM here got rid of players just because they were Whaley's players I think he got rid of them because they either didn't fit their scheme (Darby/the ILB that went to KC) or because of personality and overpayment (WR Woods, WR Watkins, DT Dareus), just my opinion though.
  17. Because they needed a 4th DT? People are freaking out over 1.13M in dead cap ? Am I missing more to this story?
  18. I think they'll try and run all over the Chargers to take pressure off Allen, McCoy is my prediction.
  19. That's what happens with a GM with a no nonsense policy, it's a team sport and there always has to be an example.
  20. People are up in arms over a Jeremy Kerley release? Has it really gotten to Buffalo Bills message board bad in here already? It's Jeremy freakin Kerley people, what help was he really going to give Josh Allen? What help has he given any QB throughout his tenure in the NFL?
  21. Wait, so it's utter incompetence to trade away a QB who was outplayed by Nate Peterman? Some team was actually dumb enough to give us draft capital for a guy who was beat out by a guy who had 0.0 passer rating last week. Who is this veteran savior you speak of? I don't like the fact of Allen taking punishment this season behind the OL but he gives us the best chance to win each week so it is what it is, this regime also didn't plan on Ritchie/Woods retiring, it's not like they cut those players. Those were 2 big holes they weren't planning to fill just yet due to the cap situation.
  22. I cut Vlad Ducasse and pickup Alex Boone, I move Groy to RG where he plays better and hope Bodine isn't as terrible as he was in the preseason at C. The OL has got to be tweaked or no RB or QB will be alive after this season.
