  1. I thought it was a good defensive battle between 2 very similar team's. We won a hard fought game against a 3-1 team, not sure what the problem is, were facing playoff caliber team's now since we made the playoffs last year with a freaking rookie QB who was said to be too raw to start right away, it really is a miracle that were 2-3.
  2. DE Trey Flowers (NE) He's a hard worker, he'll be 27 years young next year and we steal him from a division rival, win-win. OT Darryl Williams (CAR) He has familiarity with the coach/GM and would upgrade the right side of the OL WR John brown (BAL) or Cole Beasley (DAL) I think both of these WR are hard working, find a way to get open and could help out our young QB. I expect a drafted WR also.
  3. I tend to disagree with most fans not for just the sake of argument but I think Josh is progressing nicely, beating a stout Minnesota defense and another top notch defense in the Titans, he also was behind towards the end and hit on a few plays to get them into FG range. Signs are all pointing in the right direction that we found our QB of the present and future and I'm not really sure why others are doubting, just my opinions though.
  4. C Ryan kalil would be an awesome get and he has Carolina Panthers ties so it may be a win-win, he's getting up there in age but still is playing at a very high level.
  5. So Allen should throw a ton more even if it means sacrificing winning? That's what I got out of that. Winning helps everything, this nonsense that he has to throw it a zillion times , have 400 yard games is just dumb, how is that working for one of the best in Andrew Luck? He took the team down the field when he needed to and won the game for us, that does more for his progression than throwing for 330 yards 2 TD, 2 INT and a big fat loss.
  6. There is no debate, this is all about Allen's progress going forward, Allen just got his 1st comeback win down in the 4th qtr with not much to work with on offense , zipped an awesome pass to McCoy and helped set up the fg to win against a tough 3-1 Tennessee Titans team who wins by smash mouth defense. Would you rather have Aaron Rodgers numbers but lose the game? Winning games does nothing but good for Allen imo.
  7. He reminds me alot of Andre Johnson, great all around WR but never got the recognition as alot of the other WR.
  8. Some of us with a clear mind have been saying this all along , they have purged all of Whaley/Ryan's rejects, started implementing their own talent through the draft and FA, now will have a plethora of picks to go along with 80+M cap space, we should really know who this team is by next season and what they can really be imo.
  9. Mccoy and Ivory on offense and Hughes/Phillips on defense
  10. He's not even in the top 10 0f busts this team has made, you must be a youngin.
  11. Potts Deli & Grille, it's right near you in Cheektowaga , Rossler Ave. , Great Roast Beef if thats your thing but I like all of their sandwiches.
  12. I actually like the direction were heading and thought this year would be a tough go, especially after the retirements of Incognito/Wood. I stated this in another thread that I think we'll know much more about the direction of this team with 80M cap and another plethora of draft capital next season. I totally understand why fans go ballistic hearing next season, I think that's been the theme in Buffalo for so long, "maybe next season" but I really like the HC/GM tandem and feel we have a really good group here, just my ramblings slash opinions.
  13. You have top understand though that this was Beanes 1st draft, to me the idea was to rid this roster of all underachievers and players who don't fit... (Dareus, Watkins, Ragland, Darby etc) , we will now have 80+M in cap space, to go along with more draft picks. Our OL would have looked quite different if not for both Wood/Incognito retirements, I think we'll get a very good idea what this regime is about after next season, good or bad.
  14. Who is going to be the savior? Washed up Dez Bryant that nobody wants? Old man Kenny Britt? Retired Eric Decker? Maybe Jeremy maclin would be a decent option but why is he still a FA? None of these guys will be any different than what we have now imo.
  15. His name is Doug Whaley and he's no longer on our team as the GM, you're welcome!
  16. It will be an up and down year for Josh which most of us knew already, this year is about our QB's progression. Next year we can use some cap money protecting him, you don't think players will sign here? We made the playoffs last year, I think we'll be fine. Now getting FA WR's may be a tough task but we might want to draft our own anyways. I think the future is bright if we don't get Allen killed but that's just my opinion, I can see what this team could be, when Allen has time the guy is a much different QB than when he's running for his life.
  17. I was just at Dave and Adams and they sell them, they had the white and blue Allen Nike jerseys, I think $99.00 was the price.
  18. There was 3 HOF QB's in that draft (Elway.Marino, Kelly), this class would have to produce 4 HOF QB's, the odds are unlikely but not impossible.
  19. Knock Arod out, bring in Deshone Kizer, game over, Bills 2-2.
  20. I think Mason Rudolph has a bright future in Pittsburgh when Big Ben calls it quits which is coming soon imo. I didn't like him at all this year especially in the 1st round but he looked really good in preseason, looks like the next heir apparent.
  21. If that were the case we would have dropped Eric Moulds by year 2, Jerry Rice would have been cut since he dropped everything his rookie season and the list goes on. Give these kids a shot before we toss them away, he's a rookie trying to find his way.
  22. So you want to use a roster spot on a rookie WR who will now need to learn our playbook just because he played at Wyoming with Allen? If were going to pick someone up at least go for veteran guy like Jeremy Maclin, Kenny Britt or Markus Wheaton .
  23. Lets cut all rookies and 2nd year players because they aren't superstars yet. Who is this star WR were signing in his place who will pick up the playbook right away? Just curious.
  24. Our QB was in shotgun almost all game, that is mostly due to the poor OL play, quick passes, bubble screens to get Allen's confidence up also. We need talent along the OL, LG, C and OT, I think Dawkins is a better RT.
  25. Although that is true, how do defensive coordinators game plan a 6'5" QB jumping over your 6'5" LB?
