  1. It's a real bummer about Singletary but Yeldon at least ran for 4.0 YPC last season, he's also viable in the pass game which is nice. Gore looked really slow, I mean he's 100 years old so I get it but I'd rather get a heavy dose of Yeldon than Gore, just my opinion though.
  2. I say all games are a must win, there are only so many spots for the playoffs, we will most likely be fighting it out with a wild card 5-6 team so all these games are pretty crucial. It's not the end all if we lose but 3-1 is much better than 2-2 right?
  3. I don't know man if he was making those catches all preseason I'm pretty sure he'd be in our starting lineup right?
  4. I'm just trying to understand this correctly. A guy on our practice squad made a decent catch and he should be elevated to starter because of it? I'm just trying to understand why.
  5. Loved it... "Don't ***** with our QB ever!" , it should always be this way.
  6. It's been said several times that The Redskins aren't trading Williams, I don't like giving up on a 2nd year player this fast.
  7. See I look at those numbers and I say wow that's pretty good considering he was throwing to guys like Funchess, Benjamin, Ginn, I mean those are some pretty bad WR's to have to compete with and he still made it to a SB. I have the mindset that the QB makes the WR but when the WR are that bad then it's impressive to me. Now he has had TE Greg Olsen but he is injured quite a bit. Now they finally have some weapons to throw to in Samuel/Moore and even Ian Thomas is going to be decent imo. I don't look at QB rating whatsoever, it's a joke of a stat imo. He also like you said made it to the SB and was an MVP, you don't get that being average.
  8. I'm not a fan of Cam the person but I'm a fan of him on the field. He is getting over multiple surgeries, this past one was only months ago so it may take him awhile to get that back. I think people are undervaluing his passing game a bit, he's a career 60 % in completion percentage. I think the turnovers are more lack of talent than Cam being done. They've had Benjamin, Funchess and Ginn as their starting WR for awhile and now they finally look like they have some weapons in Samuel, Moore and Olsen but Cam will need some time to get his arm back.
  9. I've said this in another article but to me Allen has Brett Favre's gun slinger mentality (which I love) but with that mentality you are going to make mistakes, we should not make excuses for him since there is no need to, as long as he can come back from those mistakes and win games which he did. If we have the next Brett Favre with more athleticism, do we really give 2 ***** about whether or not he makes mistakes as long as were getting to the playoffs or Superbowls?
  10. Spain was also mauling people out there, so was Morse, this can be a monster OL if they can all gel together and stay healthy.
  11. It was great to see the Bills win but you basically blow off all the bad about the team and praise all the good. It doesn't matter how good we move down the field if it ends up in a blown play, INT or fumble, those are the type of plays that make you a playoff team or a pretender. Had it not have been for an inept K who missed a FG and XP then we would have lost the game. I'm not trying to be a debbie downer but if we give up 4 turnovers in a game the odds of us winning again are very low to near impossible. On a side note I liked the resilience of this team, they never gave up and our free agent pickups really seemed to step up. Just my opinions.
  12. I used to compare him to Big Ben but earlier in Ben's career he was a game manager. That is not the case here with Allen, they threw and threw some more to the point that I was like why wouldn't they run? He reminds me more and more of Brett Favre, he like Allen are gunslingers and they will do alot of dumb things but when the things they do turn out then you get a masterful game like today, he threw some sketchy throws like the dropped INT but then he goes and throws a laser to John Brown for the TD. You're going to get some bad plays with Allen that will make you go why bro why but you'll also get those masterful throws. I think we're witnessing a more athletic version of Brett Favre, get your popcorn ready.
  13. This is why you have to totally respect a player like WR Larry Fitzgerald, he has been balling out since 2004, 2nd all time in yards, 3rd all time in receptions, tied for 6th all time in TD receptions and you don't ever hear anything other than his love for the game, always smiling, dude should have a statue like Rocky leading up to the stadium.
  14. I'm expecting progression but as you can see even Aaron Rodgers looks mortal at times. The Jets defense is going to get at Josh Allen, Greg Williams will make it a point to get to the QB, it should be a really close game as I think these 2 teams are very similar.
  15. It's really sad to see this happen with AB, at the end of the day he's a hall of famer, he has put his heart and soul into getting to where he is and now we see this side of him that to me screams some type of emotional issue. He was never a problem up until this past year in Pittsburgh and all of a sudden he's a diva, problem child, wife beater and now a racist? I think there is alot more going on with him and hope he gets the help he needs. He was a good story back in the day clawing his way up the depth chart as a 6th rounder, I'd really like him to turn it around in Oakland.
  16. This was almost the lowest scoring offense in history at one point. We have to prove were better on the field not on paper.
  17. Id say resign Dawkins, Wallace and Milano, extend Tre White since his contract will be up. Go after the top dog pass rusher in FA that can replace Murphy, shouldn't be hard to replace those 4 sacks. Draft a pass rusher high in round 1 or 2 to eventually take over and groom behind Hughes.
  18. Kelly is a mediocre talent, he's not even in the same stratosphere as Jim, he has a decent arm and the pedigree but that's pretty much where it stops. He can't read defenses and he's a mental case. I don't see what the fuss is about with this guy, he's given numerous opportunities and has failed at every level. I'm pretty sure if he wasn't related to Jim he would be an afterthought on these boards but people love nostalgia it seems.
  19. I thought it was a smart move, this contract makes him the 19th highest paid QB in the league which is about right around where he should be, he was also on the last year of his contract so if he doesn't do well then they can draft a QB, if not then they draft a QB next season and let them battle it out for next season. There is also the possibility he could be good/great or a franchise guy you never know, it's really a win-win for them imo.
  20. I think he's going to be really good, my only concern is durability, he took an absolute beating in college, most RB see the carries but he was a workhorse so his shelf life may not be that long.
  21. Devin Singletary is now the man, I'm pumped to see what this kid has this year and has a future hall of famer grooming him along the way, could he have had a better situation to be in than Buffalo? I'm not a huge fan of Yeldon, the dude seems to be injured alot but should be a serviceable short yardage guy. I'm excited for this group of young and vets mixed in but I thought we could have got something for McCoy even at his price tag but I think Beane let him choose where he wanted to play his last years out of respect.
  22. I meant when Wood retired from the injury not replacing him. Yes centers get pushed back, name a center who has never gotten pushed back ? I'm not saying the guy was an all pro but he wasn't as bad as fans are making him out to be and we just gave the Pats a serviceable player when they didn't have one at all, again I'm gl;ad we got the pick but I'm not happy it was from the Pats is all I'm saying.
