  1. I don't think he'll ever taking running out of his game, seems to be a big part of who he is much like Steve Young. The element of running is in his DNA, teaching him how to get out of bounds and stop taking vicious hits needs to be top priority though.
  2. I've always been a big believer that the QB makes the WR not the other way around unless the WR is elite like a Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss etc. but with that being said the Jets have been flat out awful bringing in the right players for a young QB, the Jets OL is average at best, the WR core is bad, I like the TE but he's young and coming off injury so he's trying to get his footing back. He should already have a #1 WR and a few big time OL. The Bills go out and sign Morse, spend a 2nd on Cody Ford (jury is still out), signed FA Quinton Spain then resigned him due to his high level of play, drafted LT Dion Dawkins 2nd round and picked up a bunch of FA OL. What did they do for Darnold? They let his best WR Robbie Anderson sign somewhere else and replaced him with a journeyman in Breshaud Perriman, they Did sign FA Leveon Bell but with no decent OL they can focus on Bell.
  3. I have my own opinions, Brees has his, Malcolm Jenkins has his, there is no right reason if that's what you believe in and again that's my opinion. To make Brees out to be the bad guy in all of this for what he believes in is bothersome to me and the same goes for Jenkins but again just my opinions.
  4. I appreciate it, I've definitely been doing the breathing exercises throughout this process, thanks for the tips and well wishes. I'm just trying to get back to normal as soon as possible.
  5. Thanks man, it was a rough week but I'm continuing to get better each day so and I wasn't hospitalized so i won't complain. Still feeling siode effects, dizzyness and I get winded just going to the mailbox but again, I'm not going to complain it could have been much worse. Thanks again for asking, that was good of you brother!
  6. Thanks brother and not going to lie, since I wrote that I had mild symptoms I was on a rollercoaster of different waves to the virus, I hope I'm at the end of it because it feels like someone kicked my in the kidneys, my back, arms and legs. I can see why so many have succumb to this virus. It's like the flu on crack, I wish this upon nobody, not even Jets fans.
  7. TheBrownBear I was just tested positive today, we can be Covid buds if you want? LOL I only have mild symptoms so far also. Stay safe my brothers from other mothers and sisters from other misters!!!!
  8. I have no clue but I don't really know what it has to do with what you commented on, I would have said back in the day that what they did to Favre was cold but the difference being is Favre would always talk about retirement year after year and Rodgers has stated many times that Tom Brady has set the bar and he feels his time is not up yet.
  9. That part I get, the part I don't is giving a Aaron Rodgers team who was a win away from the Superbowl no weapons. I guess you can say AJ Dillon but he doesn't catch out of the backfield so he is more. first-second down guy. Also not even calling and telling him their plans? That's cold, just my opinions.
  10. The reason i don't think it was James Morgan is that Beane said it was an NFC team he had a deal in place with, the only other NFC team was the Eagles and they were only 1 pick in front of us and if they wanted Morgan they could have traded with the Cowboys and got him. I'm happy with Fromm also, I think he can be an excellent player and teammate. If he becomes even more than that then hey we hit the mother load but to me I think he'll be a better version of Matt Barkley, a stable game manager who can win you some games which you can't ask for much more out of your backup.
  11. It's an A from me, not so much the players but we needed to come out of this draft with a young edge rusher, we have that in Epenesa, we needed to get a back who could share carries with Singletary and we've done that. I've never been a fan of Matt Barkley so replacing him with someone better (I think Fromm definitely is) was a solid option and we gave Josh some nice targets for the redzone. I was a bit surprised we didn't draft a CB or some young LB depth but we picked up some LB depth in FA and we can always address that in next years draft. We should all really be thankful for this coaching staff and management, they turned a really bad roster into a solid unit who believes they can win and those teams usually do, great things lie ahead for us so I'm really excited to see this play out.
  12. i'm going to say we had a deal in place with the Cowboys and we were going to trade up for Jacob Eason, who went 1 pick in front of the Boys. That's just specualtion of course but Eason is the type of QB that the front office usually covets (Cam Newton/Josh Allen) which I was a little bit surprised to see them go Fromm since this offense looks like it's built for the long ball and Eason would have made alot of sense. I still like the Fromm pick alot and I don't think Barkley has a chance in hell to retain his job, just my opinion.
  13. You say were not keeping up with NFL, did we not trade up for Knox and grab Sweeney? We also have developmental in Croom and if Kroft can ever stay healthy he's a versatile guy. Knox is our future, I know people are having a hard time with this but get on board with him as our guy because he looked really good for a rookie in year 1 and I'm banking he improves even more as he gets acclimated to the NFL.
  14. Extremely accurate but not alot of arm strength, sounds alot like Drew Brees to me, I love the pick... They need better assurance if Allen misses time and Barkley wasn't all that impressive imo.
  15. Solid pickup, maybe we can snag Carlos Hyde, it would be nice to have a solid veteran for these youngsters.
  16. I'm a fan but he's a little undersized for the position, undeniable talent though.
  17. As a guy who watched a bunch of UCF football, he may not be a burner like Tyreek hill but he has deceptive speed like Larry Fitzgerald coming out of college and he will out jump anyone for the football, I don't think of the games I've watched he missed a 50/50 jump ball. He is going to be an excellent redzone threat to start off his career and who knows when John brown and Beasley depart our roster.
  18. Beasley and Brown are over 30, he'll start off ST but Davis is a solid WR, if this class wasn't loaded at WR I could have seen him go much higher, just my opinion though.
  19. Gabriel Davis... I called it in another thread. Love this pick!
  20. On Offense Gabriel Davis WR UCF or on defense LB Akeem Davis-Gaither, get that boy in the weight room and he could be an absolute monster pass rusher, not very good in coverage but that;s what we have Milano and Edmunds for.
