You mention Knox had 15 catches on 28 targets, how many were drops of catchable balls? That is the only way of giving that stat a useful perspective. I know the qb was not that great and that stat alone doesn't tell us anything about Knox' hands.

Ansah made $17,000,000 last year, I wonder what they are trying to get this year. If it is anything close to that forget about it. For their 17 mil the Lions got 11 combined tackles and 4 sacks.

I think WR Anthony Johnson will make a final roster this year, I am surprised he wasn't drafted.

I think Oliver barely scratched the surface of his potential in college. He was playing nose tackle most of the time in Houston's 3-4. A 290 lb nose tackle taking on double and triple teams and still getting into the backfield. His build and skill set are far more suited to playing 3 tech in a 4-3 defense. Here is what football outsiders site had to say: 'In the NFL, Oliver will not be put in the same physically demanding positions he was at Houston. At Houston, he was often playing zero-tech -- a role designed for larger, squattier defensive lineman. Against Ok 18 carries 69 yds 3.8 ypc , 26 of those yds on one carry; meaning 17 carries for 43 yds 2.5 ypc on the rest of them. Oklahoma had 25 defenders record at least one tackle which means the entire bench got to play. I am pretty sure he wasn't the best player on the field that day.

Shady ran the 40 in 4.45, Singletary 4.66. Pretty big difference there. Singletary significantly slower in 3 cone drill, 20 yard shuttle, 10 yd split etc. Will be interesting to see if his style works against much much quicker and faster competition than he saw at FAU. I am a bit skeptical but hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Antonio Brown was a 5th round draft choice, believe it or not those guys are out there. Hakeem Butler had more 20 yd plus catches than any receiver in the draft. He is 6'5" and ran 4.48.

That's ridiculous. GMs are far from infallible. Some of the top receivers in the league were drafted day 2 and 3, including Antonio Brown in the 5th. Was he not a top prospect simply because GMs missed it? Not supporting or defending the OPs premise, but what you said is simply not true.
