Kansas almost losing to Samford was no fluke, Zaga pulling away up by 20. Kansas was just overrated.

It sounds dry to me ๐

It's been years since I've had the sciatica this bad. I've been building a new shed in the yard for the wife in the cold damp weather and all that's left is to shingle the roof. Unfortunately I can barely stand right now. A couple days of watching bball is just what I need.
-
Should be some really competitive games....finished my work around the house, sciatica is flaring up, perfect time to put my feet up and watch some bball. Looking forward to this. You can repeat that story every year๐

Kansas Zaga Good 1st half, this game looks like it will go down to the wire.

Old school wrestling fans, Ole Anderson has died
Turk71 replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall
I don't remember Ole Anderson, may he rest in peace. I do remember Chief White Owl and the Tomahawk chop Dominic Denucci and the sleeper hold Crusher Verdu Waldo von Erich The Executioner Eric the Red, etc Me and my brothers would laugh our asses off watching the matches as kids, highly entertaining. I haven't seen a fake wrestling match since the early 70s -
Pass rusher. A huge need not being talked about enough
Turk71 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
They've been trying to build this amazing dline to stop Mahomes for 6 years now with plenty of high picks and free agents and it hasnt worked. That's what they've tried. They've never tried what I was talking about, building a great offensive line. Imagine if they had spent all that cap and draft capital on the offensive line instead, or at least a higher portion of it? A line like that makes everyone on offense better; qb wrs rbs tes all more productive. Every single year they need another DE. After all the high picks, free agents etc they still need to find their guy. Maybe they're just not very good at choosing the right player and maybe it's time to try something else.....or let someone else try. -
Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Turk71 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
After all these years with a below average oline a lot of people think they're pretty good, now that they are finally average. Average isn't good and it's definitely not good enough. Mahomes has been behind a very good offensive line for years now. He is one of the least pressured qbs in the league. Allen is still one of the most pressured qbs, his clean pocket time still one of the worst in the league. He doesn't take a high % of sacks because he is so strong and elusive, but running around to avoid a sack takes away from being able to survey the field, allowing guys to get open. But keep looking for that guy who can pressure Mahomes. Instead of building your own powerhouse offense, put all your energy into stopping one guy. It seems like a stupid philosophy to me. I'm glad the oline doesn't completely suck, but they need to keep getting better. There is not a lot of talent on that line. -

Why not just outscore them? What team has been able to get to Mahomes? They have used a ridiculous amount of draft capital and cap on the dline since they've been here.....and now it needs to be upgraded? If they had been that dedicated to building a dominant Oline and getting weapons right from the very start instead of their ceaseless obsession with the dline they would have had better results imo. Also, if after all that draft and cap spending they're still not good enough that's on them, they are not making the right draft and free agent acquisitions or they are not putting them in an ideal scheme and play call to succeed. Either way, it's time to change their approach. -
That's okay Augie. I was basically agreeing with you and just felt a little bit insulted. I wasn't mad about it, I should have put a smiley face next to my wiseass comment.๐

Colorado wins a barn burner vs Florida...wow, what a game!
-
I get it wiseass It's what they're known for evidently... I don't like Calipari, I don't like Kentucky and I root against them when I see them play. I'm glad he evidently sucks at coaching in the tournament and hope it continues... Other than that I pay them no mind
-
Colorado Florida in a great game right now, both teams really came to play I don't follow them at all but I agree that for the amount of talent they get every year they definitely have been underachieving.
-
Refs bailing out Kansas ....of course. Incredible, absolutely clean block, no body contact, hand hits all ball with the ref looking right at it. Blows whistle and decides the game. Wtf
-
Contracts don't decide who starts; and even if they did its still a long way to next season. A lot can happen between now and then.
-
Well said They definitely need change on multiple levels.

2-0 Sabres Keep it going

Goodbye Kentucky

Ducks crush South Carolina Couisnard goes off for 40 points vs his old team Nfaly Dante healthy and dominant Lookin good

Like I said earlier, I sincerely hope he and Rapp aren't the starters. I think they are both backups If they wind up being the starters........then I'll sincerely hope I'm wrong.๐

Obviously some fans liked him more than the management. The Chiefs management has a really good track record the last 6 years
-
$3 million on one year deal. Didn't offer him another contract. Ya, the Chiefs couldn't have done it without him and his 82nd out of 95 safeties ranking. I'm sure the Chiefs SB odds have taken a hit with his loss
-
Chiefs signed him for one year last season and they didn't offer him another contract. I wonder why?
