  1. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/vernon-butler/10664 Vernon Butler ranked 130th out of 130 DTs ๐Ÿ˜‚ ~$6 million cap hit Let's just consider this year's $6mil a retirement gift from Beane and retire Butler. I don't ever want to see him on the field in a Bills jersey again.
  2. Happy New Year from Oregon fellow Bills fans! Let's Go Buff a lo !! !!!
  3. Breeland is 2nd in league in tds allowed, almost leads the league in missed tackles (13 of 68 att, over 17%) and has allowed passer rating of ~110. He is literally one of the worst CBs in the league this year. I'd rather see what the backups can do.
  4. Don't forget the Bills passing on Creed Humphrey in the draft allowing the Chiefs to finish their o line rebuild with the best interior lineman in the league this year. He will anchor their line for years to come. The Bills picked their 2nd consecutive DE instead, Basham. That said Breeland has been terrible this year and would be no help to the Bills.
  5. I agree that the Bills better bring their A game, these are obviously must wins. The Falcons and the Jets are 2 of if not the 2 worst defenses in the entire league. Their offenses are not much better. I fully expect the Bills to destroy both of these teams by at least 2 touchdowns. I don't feel that's being overconfident, these teams are terrible and if the Bills don't dominate they're not ready for a playoff run imo.
  6. He's the league leader in yards before catch and avg depth of target, Allen's passer rating is higher when targeting him than it is targeting Diggs or Beasley(who's lowest on the team). He's also fast, perhaps not as fast as he once was but he was faster than any Bills receiver coming into the league. I think it would be wise to rest him until the playoffs. He's not washed, he's a little beat up and worn down. He could make some timely big plays in the playoffs imo.
  7. i think that is what happens. I see the Dolphins and Bengals both winning and Raiders facing the Colts without Wentz have a good shot I think. They'll need to sell out to stop the run and double AJ. I think the Titans are not very scary without Henry and I'm fairly confident the Bills will beat them if they meet again.
  8. McKenzie was dynamic, focused, explosive and efficient today, what a great game!
  9. Amazing play at a crucial moment. Allen's focused willpower slowed time and he warped space sliding between the defenders; then he sped up and they crashed into each other. โ˜บ Magic! What a great move and what inner drive.
  10. Kudos to the line, they dug deep and really came through today. Proud of the whole teams' effort, they played with a lot of heart and a cohesive will. Great game.
  11. Yes. It is an absolute joke.
  12. SB window is closed? OK Nostradumbas GTFOH
  13. KC picked Creed Humphrey in the 2nd round right after the Bills didn't and picked Basham instead. Humphrey is the top rated interior lineman in the NFL by a long shot in his rookie season, quite possibly a generational talent. The Bills decided to spend their 1st and 2nd rnd picks on DEs because you can take 2 in a row when you have no holes or weaknesses on your roster. Unfortunately the Bills did have holes and weaknesses.
  14. I think he's still sleeping. His alarm didn't go off.
  15. Must be PFF They have him rated the 48th best T out of 83 so far this year. Maybe Spencer Brown should have made it too cause he's such a beast, he's rated 73rd out of 83.๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. I'm not feeling emotional at all and I agree having a great defense also helps the offense and is also vitally important to the team. I'm just disagreeing that the Bills are as good as last year when it's obvious to me they are not and like I said I am not at all surprised because of the reasons stated. I'm still hoping for the best and I don't see an absolutely dominant team out there so anything can happen. p.s. do you think the Bills actually have the best defense in the league? I don't. The 5th easiest schedule so far has helped them look better than they are imo.
  17. The Bills being 8-6 so far while playing the 5th easiest schedule in the league to this point kind of tells me they are not as good as last year. A 9-6 loss to one of the bottom 3 teams in the league also tells me they are not as good. You know what else tells me..........my eyes. I'm not surprised either because I knew the oline was gonna stink. Allen's QB passer rating is down 12 pts his QBR rating down almost 20 pts his int % up a full point 1.7% to more than 2.7% You get him a good oline and with his arm he'll be firing lasers all over the field. Allen with more time would be so hard to stop. As it is he says hike and the d is instantly in his face. You have one of the best QBs in the league, perhaps even a generational talent and you put him behind a subpar line year after year while being obsessed with the defense. I would have done the opposite myself. If I drafted a QB with the 7th pick the first thing I'd do is build a great line and get him weapons, in that order. Once Josh is well protected, has talent to throw to and has the assist of a running game (great lines are really good for the run game too, what a shocker); then I'd start spending high draft picks and free agency on the defense. I'm obviously not a GM and I'm really happy the Bills are good again but the obsession with the defense and the seeming inability to see how important the oline is to Allen and the offenses success is definitely frustrating. The Bills have no running game because of their line, not because of their rbs. The rbs could be better but they're not the main problem. I'm still hoping for the best and maybe Allen playing spectacularly the rest of this season can take them to the promised land but it's a lot to ask when he's trying to avoid the rush almost immediately on almost every play.
  18. What a ***** joke Dawkins is a Pro Bowler๐Ÿ˜‚ Lamar Jackson too๐Ÿ˜‚ Fans votes count 1/3 so that could explain some of these picks. Speaking of picks the league leader in interceptions Joe Burrow is the 4th AFC QB(alternate) like I said What a ***** joke
  19. That was ugly, was amazed his leg didn't break
  20. How does Mahomes seem like a good guy? He seems like a childish arrogant douchebag to me. I've never met him but that is my impression from interviews and commercials I've seen. His wife and brother's behavior seem totally congruent to his own as far as I can see, which makes perfect sense considering he married her and grew up with his brother. No? What impressed you in a positive way?
  21. Offensive Line Offensive Line This team needs a decent line and has for years. I knew it was the biggest weakness going in to the season and sure enough, another promising season is sunk by it. Regardless of reason or blame the line is still the problem and a better running back doesn't solve it.
