  1. Have a good feeling about this guy for some reason, think he may be a winner.
  2. Really like the Teller pick, another beast built like a brick of granite according to NFL.com. They had him as a 3rd or 4th rnd pick. Relieved to have help for oline, would not be surprised if he is a starter at some point this season.
  3. I realize the roster is far from set, the pick still surprised me though.
  4. The oline needs help!!! Reach for a backup cb special teamer when you have 1 decent lineman and 1 decent wr ?
  5. What 16 yr old wouldn't think she was a hottie? He didn't say anything crude, Musberger on the other hand sounded like a creepy pervert. His other tweets were ignorant and ill advised, but in fairness how many of his teammates used the term cracker at 16 ? People grow up, I am sure I would be embarrassed by a lot of things I said at that age. Not trying to make excuses, just saying he is not the only one who said stupid things as a teenager and people do change as they grow up and experience more of the world.
  6. Right, that and 42 bench reps, 3 time state wrestling champ, 40 Wonderlic Stanford grad; I think other teams were too intimidated . McD the former wrestler must be lovin it. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2769386-harrison-phillips-nfl-draft-2018-scouting-report-for-buffalo-bills-pick check out the NFL comparison. He led Stanford in tackles from the nose tackle position.
  7. Pancho Billa wears a Bills sombrero and Bills Mexican garb, evidently a well known fan who is going through chemo. He read the Phillips pick with Fredx and Andre Reed, pretty cool moment.
  8. Oline without a doubt, speed outside at wr, another lb, cb depth and whatever depth needed at other positions. Hope they can find a couple gems in the later rounds and after the draft. Too bad Pats got Trent Brown from 9ers, he is a good young tackle and was hoping the Bills would get him.
  9. I figured that was implied, that said, I respect the opinion of an actual successful scout and gm more than some talking head TV guy. Just saw that Phillips did more bench reps than anyone at the combine, 42. I saw him play a lot in college and once in person and he was always hard to handle. Led the nation in tackles by DT last year with over 100. So ya, I am pretty happy with this pick.
  10. After the 1st rnd draft they had each of the NFL network hosts name a team that had the best round, Casserly picked the Bills. The Allen pick generated a wide difference of opinions, but Casserly was a scout with the Skins and then a GM for 16 years and has 3 SB rings so I will take his over the former players and sports personalities.
  11. think he got picked already. never mind I am wrong.
  12. I really like the pick, would have been happy with Crosby who can play T or G as well and probably a bigger need. Philips is 2nd rnd talent at the end of the 3rd. Good job.
  13. Wrestlers make good lineman, McD will love this guy.
  14. was thinking the same, this is where they would pick. O well, comp picks are worthless.
  15. Psyched the Bills got Philips, thought the 9ers were gonna take him. Just saw that the Pats got OT Brown from the Niners, was hoping the Bills could trade for him after the draft. He is a good tackle and highly rated, only 25 years old too.
  16. A lot of Rudolph critics on this board convinced that he sucks, it would not surprise me if he has a good career and ends up being one of the better qbs in this draft.
  17. He only scored a 29 on the wonderlic, he is not a genius by any means. The guy comes off as an arrogant entitled douchebag imo.
  18. Fwiw, after the draft 5 pundits were asked to name who won the first round and Charlie Casserly said it was the Bills.
  19. Hope New York keeps Watkin's Glen, such a beautiful place.
