Bills hire Heath Farwell as ST coordinator
Turk71 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Blue cheese or Ranch? My wife's maiden name is Heath, so that is a positive. He has played and coached in the NFL. Carolina. Youthful exuberance. I am cautiously optimistic. -
It's not that he doesn't catch them, he just doesn't do much with them after he does. He wasn't making people miss. I don't know if he was injured but his cuts and acceleration were not like his former self. I am not anti McCoy, I just think his play has fallen way off and the Bills could do a lot better for that kind of money. Look at the salaries of the top backs, not just the ones on rookie contracts. His pay is disproportionate to his play by a long shot imo.

My dog lays next to my recliner while I watch late night movies. Doesn't move til I go to bed. Luckily not much of a snorer, he does run and bark in his sleep sometimes.

Ya'll Thought My Wedding Was Crazy

Thnx for the update Joe. Sounds hilarious and painful at the same time. -
Reminds me of Men in Black. Looks like he smokes cigars and plays cards with his buddies.

100th Anniversary: Sweetest Disaster
Turk71 replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I remember reading about that years ago, crazy story. 'slow as molasses in January' my ass, the wave travelled at 35 mph. -
Exactly. My dog is always in the same room as me anyway. He really loves when we are all travelling and staying in the camper van.

Sorry to hear that as well, our space is not huge but we spend plenty of time outdoors with the dog regardless of the weather. Hope you find another dog that needs a loving home.

Top 50 players that are fits for Buffalo Bills..NewYorkUpstate.com
Turk71 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know about bad seed, more like $17 million/per bad investment. Look at how his replacements performed for a mere fraction of the price. Add to that he will be out of football for over a year and a half when he plays next in a new system, who knows what you will get for the guaranteed 55 million or so it will cost you. Bad investment imo. -
Wife and I rescued our dog Harry when he was a year old. He will be 14 years old in June. Aussie, Border Collie, Healer mix, he is one of the smartest, most loyal, and loving dogs I've ever known. Super athletic still and an amazing ball catcher. He gets tired quicker than he used to though. Good luck and have fun with your new friend. I tried to upload a pic but it's telling me I can only upload 204 kb or something like that.

Huge high-tech cannabis plant planned for Buffalo

I forgot to mention there is a documentary on Amazon Prime about Jack Herer's life, 'Emperor of Hemp'. -
Huge high-tech cannabis plant planned for Buffalo
Turk71 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
A lot of people don't realize that hemp produces more oil, protein, and fiber per acre than any other plant. The oil and protein are extremely high quality nutrition. Hemp is also a nitrogen fixing plant perfect for replenishing soil in crop rotation. The fiber is perfect for paper and fiberboard manufacturing. Jack Herer from Buffalo wrote a book , 'The Emperor Wears No Clothes', detailing the history of hemp production in this country and the incredible benefits of the plant. Jack was a great guy I knew and spent a lot of time with in the 80s and early 90s on Dead tour and later in Eugene Or. until his death in 2010. His courageous work and other folks in the movement have directly contributed to the current wave of legalization. My friends Bill Conde and Soma had to leave the country late 90s to avoid imprisonment by the FBI, Bill owns a hostel and lives in Belize with his wife, Soma is very successful and well known in Amsterdam where he owns Soma's seeds and judges the Cannabis Cup. -

I didn't see CJ Anderson on that list. I am pretty sure he is a fa. He looked really good running the ball this year. -
Just How Bad Was Buffalo's Run Game Aside from Josh Allen?
Turk71 replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McCoy was ranked 46th out of 47 rbs running the ball, and 52nd out of 53 rbs as a receiver. He was not even a good receiver. The line sucked but McCoy was terrible as well. The fact that he was the highest paid rb in the league makes those rankings even worse.https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/rb. Even if the Bills can afford to pay him 9 mil next year they need better rbs. -
Divisional round, Eagles at Saints, 4:40 pm on FOX
Turk71 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think every team left could beat the Pats. Patriots are 3-5 on the road this year. -
My shoes are under 2 ft of mud in front of the stage at Yasgur's farm. Was there in 94 for the 25th anniversary, Joe Walsh was tossing me Iron City beers from the stage. He played for hours in the pouring rain and kept saying "this is just like it was". I stood there, feet sunk in the cowshit laughing my ass off and calling out for more beer which he gladly gave.

Huge high-tech cannabis plant planned for Buffalo
Turk71 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
They are practically giving it away out here. A good friend of mine owns a 40 acre organic farm and has license to grow an acre of high grade legally every year. Over 2000 pounds. People are allowed to grow 4 plants in their yard without any license. $50 an ounce in the stores. -
Trade down if possible for another 2nd rnd pick. Focus on oline and wr first.

Your opinion how the Bills will add to the Roster? (edited)
Turk71 replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have a lot of money to spend and if they let Clay and McCoy walk they will have even more. I expect them to be very active in free agency this year. They have to get O line wr rb and te help. The offense needs so much to help Allen take the next step. There are some really good young dline fas available as well. -

If the refs hadn't completely blown that in the grasp call this would be a 5 point game right now. Plenty of time left. -

Highest paid rb in the league this year, lowest ypc on his team. Line wasn't good but neither was Shady. -

wtf was that? -
A lot of good young dts and des in fa this year, not so many on ol wr or rb. Bills need to give Allen an offensive line and weapons more than anything else and it should absolutely be the #1 focus in the off-season.
