  1. I released everyone from the roster and we had 100 million in cap space. That's plenty for FA! On the con side we did have 180 million in dead cap so there's that. All in all trust the process.
  2. I like the plan. Keep what got you to the playoffs last year and look for an upgrade. IF no upgrade is available than you can certainly do worse than Taylor.
  3. Kids got it together. I want a kid with goals like this and the smarts to make it happen. This country's too soft.
  4. Unbelievable.
  5. I'd rather have the camera on me when I'm picked at home then over and over in the back room.
  6. If Edwards panned out this would have all been moot IMO. But yes, disaster all over it. The whiffer pick was embarrassing
  7. If I were the Colts and frank, I'd love to trade back and get a boat load of picks. I have my franchise QB so I don't need to trade up to get that guy, I can sit back and take BPA. The board doesn't come to you for premium QB talent.
  8. If you can't move up to get the guy they want I'd rather them take Rudolph. I think the kid will be a quality starter in the league just nothing special.
  9. I'm with you. You shouldn't lose your job over allegations. The fact that these are allegations of mental abuse makes it a very tricky situation. People can say mental abuse or emotional abuse to just about anything because that's a subjective issue. I am not saying he wasn't abusing her. All I'm saying is that there seems to be no difinitive line for these allegations, meaning there is no way to know if they are made up or not. A completely overwhelming situation for someone who was in a relationship that went sour. Mental and emotional abuse is common in breakups. How do we justify what is too much? Does the guy get to file for it too? If I were a guy in a high level position I would be very careful with woman. They have too much power right now, so much so that their feelings can dictate your livilyhood, especially if your an alpha who won't put up with woman ruling everything in the household. I know now we are trying to find balance between the two sides but this is not it. He's not trying to be sexist, he is arguing that men should have the equal opportunity to put the other person in their place just like the opposite sex. Just because the other person is a woman doesn't mean you can't yell at her for being a brat or such. Are we not allowed to express ourselves anymore? This is a touchy subject, I get it, all myself and I think OP was trying to say is that: 1 Guys shouldn't lose their jobs until proof of wrong doing 2 They should have equal say and expression in a relationship.
  10. I thought Foles was fools gold before this run in the playoffs. Man I'm torn, dude played elite. Critcal throws, threaded the needle, read defenses, made big boy throws, nerves of steel and clutch. If we can call plays like the coaching staff does or similar concepts, I'm up for making a go at him. Live arm that kid.
  11. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.
  12. If I were Cousins I'd pick Jacksonville or Denver.
  13. My thought as well. Az would be the other.
  14. Probably Tyrod is the correct answer as worst case scenario as this would be. I would be very upset if they failed to upgrade the QB position with such a rich QB FA period and draft. I fully expect them to sign a veteran QB like Smith and draft a young talent like Rudolph
  15. Personally I'd take Rudolph in this scenario after signing Alex Smith or Bridgewater for a few years. I want Vea though. The other thing to consider is 2 DT in the first means 2 big future contracts on the same yearly path. Id prefer them to take Vea and then a Top position of need after that.
  16. Thanks for this. The other thing to consider is the nerves under pressure and ability to read defenses and perform under pressure. This is what coaches get a sense of once they sit with these kids at the senior bowl and get them in for visits. I wish we had that piece of the puzzle but this type of speculation I'm willing to entertain because it is well thought out and objective. Nice job.
  17. I'll be sending in my application.
  18. It has to be their decision so I can't fault you in it. My boys aren't old enough yet but when they are I'll be honest with them about it. Scares the heck out of me though. I got about 5 years before they are old enough to start playing, should be interesting to see where CTE is in that time span and the NFL.
  19. I never was a fan of his as he came off sarcastic and self righteous. Not his content, just the way he presented himself and the material. That being said he is completely right about CTE and concussions. I won't let my kids play football. I'll watch, as hypocritical as that sounds, but the day they stop playing because people don't want to risk it I won't blame them for it.
  20. The SJW's need a cause man, the Nfl is a rich cash cow. Perfect storm for the biggest non story of the year. Get those clicks Vic!
