This is my thought as well. I think the Browns first pick sets off the phones. They take Darnold @1 then I don't see us trading up. And this is coming from someone who wants Rosen.

Maybe we become a team that just missing that QB this year with subpar QB play from aj or Peterman and use all the picks to build up the team. Next year Foles is released and if the Bills want him then they can get him. I don't see it happening this year with the cap. I could be wrong, Foles is a SBMVP who beat the pats. To me that means a lot.

You don't pass Rosen for Rudolph. I still don't think the Giants are going QB if Barkley is on the board.

Anyone consider that the Browns at 1 and Giants at 2 don't want to move to 12 or let alone trade at all? Im sure Beane tried for #3 but 12 was probably too far to trade back or the cost too high. I don't like our QB situation. I think this staff thinks they can win with a 2nd teir QB and I hate that. Move to 2 and take the guy you think is the franchise QB.

I think they have a standing offer for a lot of the players left unsigned. Brown is a good linebacker, underrated round these parts. I think having Star will help immensely. We still need another LB tho. So is getting up there and there's not a lot after brown and Milano.

They need to sign him to compete with the rook and Peterman, I doubt this is the plan they had in mind but they are running out of options. Id be fine with top rookie, mccarron, Peterman battle. That's all we can hope for now.

I think if Brees became available, everyone would look to sign him let alone the jests and us. New Orleans would be dumber than rocks to let him go with the team they have and the options behind him.

Well sure. What I meant was that all prospects are compared to others until they are not once they make it. I think we do a disservice comparing them to others. If this coaching staff thinks a guy can be a franchise QB, no matter the comparisons, then go get him. That's what the Eagles did. And I'm with you, Wientz looked really good last year. Rosen is the only one who comes close for me in this draft.
