Even though I didn’t think there was a place for him on the Bills this year and trading him was definitely the right move, especially for what we got, I am rooting for him to have continued success in the league.
This is a more general question about development projects in Buffalo having moved away from the area 10 years ago. Is it even possible to get through all the bureaucracy to actually build a stadium downtown? I remember they couldn’t even figure out how to build a Bass Pro shop. If the same red tape is in place something tells me a new stadium might be a little bit more tricky.
People sometimes use the retractable roof stadium in Indy as an example for what Buffalo should build. Having been there for two Bills games on both occasions it felt more like going to church than a football game the atmosphere was so mellow and quiet . Maybe it is just the culture of the Indy fan base but I would fear the Bills would lose a part of their identity if something like that were built.
I went up to Green Bay last time we played you there back in 2010. It was such an amazingly fun time I almost foget how badly we lost too you guys. I think that was Captain Check downs last game as a Bill. I would love to go back this year so definitely early in the season when the weather is still warm.
It seemed he was decent at drafting but that trade we made for Rob Johnson after I believe he had only played one game. Giving up the 9th overall pick and a 4th then signing him to a massive contract. It can be argued that move set things in moition for the drought era to begin a couple years later.
Kind of appalling the way most of the media frame this so called discussion on guns. The way many make it seem is if you support gun rights or the second amendment you are on the same level of a mass murderer. Not a conversation I want to be a part of.
Hahahahahahaha I thought the same thing but at this point I think he doesn’t have many reasons to lie about his experience with the Bills organization nearly 50 years ago.
I know he is an infamous figure but he does give some insights into Ralph in the 60’s and 70’s in his first interview since getting out of prison. The qoute where he says Ralph declared he didn’t want a championship that would mean giving all the players a raise is believable.

The lock out of 2011 was a rare occasion of a labor dispute actually improving the league. Ending these ridiculous rookie contracts and creating a wage scale was very important. Aaron Maybin’s holdout amd subsequent contract comes to mind.
