I actually loved the signing when we brought him in. He had respectable numbers andit at least generated some excitement during the wilderness period of the drought years. I would have liked to have kept him but I believe him and Nix had a history dating back to college which dashed any hopes of another contract in Buffalo when he took the reigns as GM.

I also remember being bummed about the Jauron hire. For me he was the face of the drought era.

I did back in 2010, I had an absolute blast the night before in Green Bay which meant I had a bit of a hangover the next day at Lambeau. It was still an amazing time though even though the Bills got destroyed. It was also Trent Edwards last game as a Bill.

I remember being particularly mad about the Whitner pick. It seriously came out of left field taking him at 8 when Ngata was on the board.

I do remember that back in 1998, if I recall correctly didn’t Ralph put threating ads in the Buffalo News saying “The Houston Bills” (they were without a team at the time) trying to get all of the luxury seats sold.

I haven’t listened to those guys in more than a decade. I never really had a problem with the unpopular opinions they may or may not have had. My issue was they would not talk about sports enough. Entire segments and somtimes entire shows dedicated to non-sports related nonsense. This on a station that billed itself as “all sports all the time”. Maybe they have change in that time but I doubt it.

I am going to go with grading immediately, both are dumb though. Having said that I always look at both mock drafts and draft grades. I think the reason is I am kind of dumb.

Yeah that move by Donahoe was probably the reason the drought lasted as long as it did. He either should have pulled the trigger moved up and gotten Rothlisberger or waited a season and taken Rodgers the following year. The irony is the Bills moved up because they were worried the packers were going to take Losman.

That is right, I think is thinking of the Jason Peters trade which did get us the pick that got us Wood in 2009.
