Everyone and I mean everyone I spoke to outside of Bills Fandom said these trades were awesome and that they felt the Bills were finally trying to clean up and extinguish the dumpster fire of which we FAN the flames every year in QB purgatory. Do I agree? To an extent. I hate how much we gave up for Sammy and it seems like they would've had to tag him if he had a monster year, where he'd then likely play with less motivation. The sins of our father makes winning that much harder mentality it gone with the Sammy and Darby trades. I don't think either wanted to be here and I can't blame him. Now Sammy needs to put up or shut up. If he fails it's not our problem anymore. That I can live with.

I liked what I saw from Logan Thomas, if we were worried about his hands then I'd think his catch near the end zone after getting lit up should ease those worries. Have heard his blocking needs work but that's to be expected. Would love to see 2 right end sets with Clay and Logan.

IK that these two were tossed in to the trades but this has got to be some sort of sick cosmic joke. I mean honestly, what the ****! Normally it takes me atleast a month to realize my football time is better spent on my fantasy teams.. Looks like I'll have no excuse to miss the playoffs this year.

If that is the case and we get a once in a generation QB, I hope we protect him better than Indy has with Luck. The men calling the shots over there have been blindfolded. I think it ultimately boils down to whether Sammy will rebound this year and prove he's Elite for 16 games, then would we even be able to resign him past the franchise tag? Could he do it again? I would've hoped so and without a doubt would've tagged him after a monster season this year... So many IF's when it came to him. Wish him the best with the Rams. As for Buffalo, a team that has deficiencies throwing the ball and plans to run it constantly, the price tag would've been unreasonable. If this is the year Sammy breaks out, it'll be tough to watch for all of us. If he flounders, gets injured or just underperformance due to Goff's inexperience, then we made out like bandits. Wait, watch, remember we're lucky to have a team in NY. Go Bills!

I thought our LB depth looked decent. But you're spot on with the CB's and Safeties. Let's hope some cuts are made and we can scavenge, while praying we've found some gems. That DL though... looks nasty. Especially is Yarb is the real deal and Shaq stays healthy.

Ask yourself this. What was our record last year with a trainwreck defense. Sammy a shell of himself and our top 2 receivers being Goodwin and Woods? The defense rebounds and I could still see us building on last years record. So no, not a tank. We're a run first team prioritizing our future, in car Tyrod does not progress. That's it.

Shady just never seems to take the same type of hits other RB's do. It's his slick style, bounces off the hits or plans accordingly when they come. Now that was a trade we definitely won!

I'll be happier next year during our draft. I understand what was done and why. It makes complete sense. Which is why I'm confused. This is still the Bills right? Can I root for them?
