Was breaking the drought worth it?
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For real? Getting the monkey off our backs was essential. We're still sitting at 12 and have a ton of picks. I would be disgusted if I ever saw the Bills tank on purpose. This fanbase is only asking for the best the team can do. We're there when we suck, we're there when when we're winning. An obvious tank may be the only way to turn this fan base away from the team. -
I really wonder when Bills fans are going to step off the ledge, (not referring to you specifically). It's become second nature to just assume we're gonna suck. Look what we did last year with cast offs. Hyde was underrated, Poyer was unheard of, Deonte Thompson (WHO?) I believe in McD and Beane, they're incredible talent evaluators and are not gonna mortgage the Bills future. Keep the damn picks and stock this team with young talent for years to come. Give AJ the keys. We literally just did more with less. We all need to have some faith, these aren't the Bills of old.

Darick Rogers, Dorial Green-Beckham, Duron Carter... IDGAF. At this point we're a used car lot owner. "Billy is slicing the prices, no money down, no payments for a year... sure the car is missing an engine. That paint job though!"

Bring him in. Bring Kap in. The media would be so confused they'd have too much on their plates. Meanwhile, quietly McCarron out performs them both in camp. Manziel really hasn't proven to be a good QB at the NFL level. I do believe he's matured enough that the off the field stuff is in the past for good. I love reclamation stories like this but it's not gonna happen in Buffalo.

I'd rather have Butler. At times the guy has looked legit living in the shadow of Dez on a run first offense. I don't think we've seen his ceiling, Snead we be likely seen the best he has to offer. Also I believe he just visited the Ravens. Their WR's were rough before free agency and I don't think crabtree is the cure.

Breaking: no charges against Zay
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We still have no idea why this happened? Drugs maybe... I have a friend who goes straight lunatic when his blood sugar gets low. I'd really love to know what caused this seemingly straight laced young man to lose his sh**. Swept under the rug and I hope the NFL does the same. No need to suspend him if the LAPD and the hotel where it took place aren't pressing charges. Every year there are far worse situations that occur. Slap the wrist and move on. -
Get Outta Here! I really loved watching him play throughout his career but the crap he pulled last year has really changed my opinion on him. Legacy tarnished for me, homer as that may be. Didn't wanna play for us because we weren't playoff caliber? I get it, we gutted the team upon his acquisition but damn, rubbed me the wrong way. My hate for the Pats continues to grow.

Osweiler visiting Fish today
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dudes a turd... perfect for the fish. -
Zay, growing up is difficult. Becoming a man that is proud of his accomplishments is harder and harder to come by in today's society. All of the work you've put in to get to the NFL can be thrown away in the blink of an eye. Please don't be a cautionary tale. Understand your good fortune, be grateful for your position in life... be better. Come back stronger from this and light up field. Trust me, this whole ordeal will be forgotten when you notch a 1,000 yd season this year. Sending mad love to ya young man!

Trade for Sammy?
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to CountryCletus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Member the 80's... oooh, member the 90's... Let Sammy Go -
Salvia likely wouldn't be the culprit. Kids these days, who F'n knows.

Yep. Probably... Are Bath Salts still a thing?

Marquise Lee Donte Moncrief Dede Westbrook Keelan Cole (was under the radar good last season) Corey Grant Austin Sefarian-Jenkins Respectfully disagree, this is a pretty young and impressive WR corp. IMO they should've kept A-Rob and avoided that Moncrief signing. Don't know what that was all about. But Hurns was definitely lowest on the totem pole. Correct me if I am wrong but I think Keelan Cole quietly led all of their WRs in Yards and tied for TD's. Id love to pry Cole or Westbrook from them (Dede is very talented but not a McD type of guy) I'd settle for Hurns but I don't think he's that great. He'd compete for WR3 with the Bills. Rather draft 1 or 2 WR's instead.

[Vague Title]Call me crazy but
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to Joaquin1119's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy Posterior!! I can't see a team trading for McCoy. Granted he doesn't get hit often and is very good about shying away from contact but he's old in RB years. We all cross our fingers each game, I'm not alone in this. We've got another year of holding our breath. But I like the Ivory signing, that may help. Jags OL sucked and he didn't have a ton of opportunity there. I really liked that signing. An ancient 1-2 punch but effective if they both stay healthy. NFL LB's seem to fear Ivory. Bowling pins fear Tolbert. -
Bridgewater to Sign with the Jets
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You Are Correct Sir! Look at their RB's, not for too long.. yuck. A franchise QB can change a team for sure. A workhorse RB with Barkleys pedigree can do the same but quicker. Not as big of a learning curve for the RB. I assure you, Teddy and McCown can manage handing the ball to this dude. Why waste 15$ mil on a mentor QB coming off a career season and a young promising QB who was cut down by injury during development, if they're going to be clip holders for the future? I don't buy it. Can't piss off the roof and tell me it's raining. Plain as day to see that securing 3rd pick can potentially screw us and they get the next AP. Win/Win for the Jets. What they don't realize is pending how things shake out, our guy may be there at 12. Who knows? Seems to me we want Lamar Jackson and at 12 IMO, that's good value. -
So much misinformation out there, I love it. If teams reach for a QB ahead of 12, that's their problem. We stay put and we're going to get one hell of a bargain, an immediate impact player. I may have more faith in McCarron than most but I felt similarly when Tyrod was brought in. True competition in camp brings out the best in a player at any position and for the Bills are QB it's wide open. I know that's going to be the case this preseason. You don't win 2 National Championships without that kind of internal drive to be your best. This truly is a New Era for the Bills. Happy to hold my head high and say I'm proud of this team.

Thank you. 1. Cooks 2. Edelman? (Returning from injury) 3. Britt 4. Hogan 5. Mitchell 6. Dorsett 7. Patterson Thats the way I see it. Patriots picking up Britt's option means he will be involved. He's certainly better than Hogan on down. Potentially better than 31 yr old Edelman coming off an acl injury. If he does indeed "SUCK", we'll notice quickly.

You're right... but lazy can be fixed. How do you know he's stupid? He cashed in on a 1,000 yd campaign at the right time, got paid and then cut because... why put forth the effort for Kizer?... somehow landed on Pats. Seems smart to me. Another prove it Year and he could get paid again (not by Pats) I too hope the Patriot Way disintegrates to ash but it's not gonna happen while Bill and Tommy Uggs are there. They do this every damn year, somehow lulling the NFL into believing they're finally mediocre. They arent, they will be good again... id bank on it.
-
IMO, Britt is a player who is capable of 1,000 yd seasons with the right motivation. He's only a year removed from one as I'm sure you know. I don't think he's just a fill the roster kind of player. In fact he is who we should be concerned about, NOT Cordarrelle. Will Bill scheme him the ball a bit, yes. But Britt knows how to run routes, has fresh legs after dumping on Cleveland last year, is a big target... Britt concerns me.

Bills sign QB AJ McCarron
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will miss TT and wish him the best but what McBeane have done so far in FA is genius. AJ has some serious potential, we've likely seen the ceiling for Keenum, Cou$in$, McCown, Siemian. Injury risks for Teddy and Bradford are too high. We paid AJ peanuts... 2x Champ AJ, had that trade gone through with the Browns (duh idk how that happened) they were willing to spend more for AJ than what was paid for Jimmy G in the 9ers/Pats miracle (glad he's out of our division). Obviously we can't say AJ is better because his price tag was higher, but we also can't dismiss how great he could be. I hope Bills Brass stay at 12 and pick whoever is the best value. Considering how quickly teams wave goodbye to players these days, it's time to use our heads. Not the little ones we're icing from last years belly flop table drop.
