  1. Bailed us out with his versatility, enjoyed having Graham. Wish him luck elsewhere for sure.
  2. Who knows. Cleveland seems to be stretching my idea of realistic trades. Brock for Pryor next? That is if Cousins ends up in San Fran.
  3. Heard the kids a real hotdog.
  4. He really did love them, I agree and can see why. They gave him a real opportunity when no one else would and he learned. We're going to begin to see a lot more of this ala our very own Logan Thomas giving it a go at TE.
  5. After signing Britt, they'll get over it but Pryor could be in for a slump. They had no one else last year. I'm not discounting what an amazing feat that was with their QB carousel of trash last year but Britt did it with horrible QBs last year too. However... 8 mil, 1 yr, good deal. This is definitely a wait and see contract.
  6. Carolinas defense is pretty good but I'm surprised by this move. Damn BB, evil genius that he is.
  7. He's a better receiver out of the backfield than Ol Boobs but yeah, similar role is assume. Also a former probowler, not so much for Dixon.
  8. But Whaley is an idiot that had no idea what he was doing releasing the often injured Aaron williams and immediately replacing him with someone who can act in hybrid roles. Geesh. Love the signing.
  9. If Ocho Stinko is capable of seeing the blatantly obvious then IDK what Rex didn't see. Last year was a wash without Sammys injured foot making him less explosive in cuts and speed but... when healthy we need to feed that man. Hopefully we sign someone capable of drawing some attention away from him and he is healthy, then Sammy could truly shine and be a top 5 WR in this league. Based on ability, not stats. We're a running team, Sammy will never top the stat sheets when compared to the Antonio, Julio, Evans and Beckham.
  10. Slowly we are losing out on big time WRs in free agency. We've gotta get someone today.. agree 110%.
  11. I like Mike Williams due to his prototypical size (losing Hunter would make this even more meaningful) and his connection to Watkins. The familiarity these two have coming from Clemson and the high regard Williams has for Sammy could push the two of them to be more competitive in practice, more accountability when studying film and less of a battle for positioning in the WR hierarchy. However, Id be very happy with Corey Davis too. Kid is simply a stud WR that would be an immediate impact player for our team. John Ross is fast, very fast... but so is Listenbee and he's a relative unknown for us after sitting last year injured. I'd be pissed if we grabbed him at 10. The other two, not so much.
  12. Wow... the hate continues to build.
  13. Kid sounds legit to me and it seems like we're not the only ones who think so. He reminds me of our Logan Thomas snag at the end of last year. It's becoming more common for former HS/College Qb's to make the transition to other positions and become impact players. Why not give him a chance at WR 3 for us and sign him for his special teams ability. I hope we're looking at more players like this. Found this: Jameis Winston thrilled Russell Shepard is getting opportunity to shine Oct 27, 2016 Jenna Laine ESPN Staff Writer TAMPA, Fla. -- One person who wasn't surprised by the performance of Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Shepard last Sunday was quarterback Jameis Winston. Hes probably our best all-around player on this team as far as the passion that he comes with every day to work, as far as the leadership that he gives us and just his heart, Winston said of Shepard. His overall heart is tremendous." A special-teams captain who typically does a lot of the "dirty work" -- such as run-blocking on offense and serving as a gunner on special teams -- Shepard caught five of six targets for 77 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Bucs' 34-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers and figures to keep playing a bigger role in the Bucs' offense in the absence of Vincent Jackson. "Hes really our best all-around guy," Winston said, pointing to his versatility. "Hes different. He can run down, sprint full-speed down there to cover a kick, then come out there and catch a touchdown. Thats different. Guys dont do that. Guys will say, Im winded.' Guys will say, give me one, and hes not that guy." Winston, who graduated from high school three years after Shepard, remembers watching YouTube videos of him when he was a high school quarterback. 'Shep was one of my favorite players. I used to watch one of his videos where he had his hat backwards, he was doing some footwork drills." The Bucs' Russell Shepard celebrates after scoring a touchdown against the 49ers last Sunday. It was the second career TD catch for Shepard, a special-teams captain in his fourth NFL season. Kyle Terada/USA TODAY Sports For Shepard, that versatility and "team-first" mentality has given him job security. He was both Rivals.com and Scout.com's No. 1-rated dual-threat quarterback in the nation coming out of Houston's Cypress Ridge High School in 2009. After four years at LSU, he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013. He was claimed off waivers by the Bucs that September and is in his second season as a special-teams captain. "I take pride in doing the dirty work," said Shepard, who became a father for the first time this year and is known for his passionate locker-room speeches before games. "I take pride in doing the things that most receivers don't usually do, or have to do." He recovered a muffed punt in the Bucs' 17-14 win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. He has enjoyed getting more looks recently as a receiver because it affords him even more of an opportunity to impact the game. "Any time I can come in, whether it's blocking a nine-technique on the line, or running a deep route to clear it out for Mike Evans, or if it's me myself being the primary target on a pass play, I'm willing to do it," Shepard said. "I'm the ultimate team guy. I love to win football games it's kind of the biggest thing that drives my motivation. "It's the kind of thing that got me on the field throughout college, being on a talented roster at that point in time at LSU, being able to do multiple things. Right now in my career, this is really helping me out. I'm being able to really develop from a receiving standpoint and take advantage of these opportunities." Offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Todd Monken said Shepard will continue to split reps this week with Cecil Shorts III and Adam Humphries to fill the void left by Jackson. He's happy that one of his 'role players' who typically doesn't garner much attention is getting some recognition. "He had a tremendous game for us and Im happy for him. Hes worked awfully hard; hes earned everything in this league," Monken said. "So for him to come up big with a number of plays, Im happy for him -- what that meant to him, what it meant to our team."
  14. Didnt think these rumors would come true, happy they did!
  15. I'd be perfectly fine with that, just can't over pay. I'm still holding hope for Josh Gordon reinstatement sweepstakes. We're not gonna go after Jeffery. Unless they feel like Hunter is worthy of a bigger role, we've got to bring someone in. I'm ok with Kamar Aiken if they are truly interested in him as well. The cupboards bare.
  16. Britt was just signed to Cleveland. They obviously see flaws in Pryors game or they would've given him the contracts Britt reeled in.
  17. If we're spending that type of money I agree, Jeffery and to a lesser extent Britt. I'm hoping the Bills look at lower level WRs that have room to grow like Cordarrelle Patterson or Andrew Hawkins. Or trade back and get one in the first. I like Pryor, but who else did they even have to throw to? Corey Coleman was hurt the majority of the year.
  18. He's not good, fools gold. Indy is hurting the Pats if anything from a financial standpoint.
  19. Echoing Yuck! I want them to pursue Cordarrelle Patterson.
  20. I like that. McD utilizing his networking skills.
  21. Again, I see what you're saying but Bennett hasn't underachieved. The Giants were dumb for getting rid of him, he did very well with the Bears while Gase was coaching and last year he had a few good games when Gronk was out. I'd go as far as saying Bennett is a top 10 TE when healthy. Dwayne Allen has been a massive disappointment.
