Who had the strongest arm in NFL history?

Jamarcus Russel, throwing 80 yds.. on his knees from the end zone. Monumental Bust! Now he's tossing pigskins over the mountain with Uncle Rico. -

Mead how were your dreams last night? That thread was so riveting I could barely sleep. Gumdrops and Lamar Jackson? Advice given is sometimes exactly what we need to receive. Feel me? - The child with a fresh off the pedestal smile. -

Manziel/Patriots .... could it happen?
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep and word on the street is Brissett is a commodity the Colts don't wanna part with. Been approached by two teams about him. I thought he played alright last year. I'd say he's an above average back up, a young one at that. Manziel and Hoyer... promising future over there. No wonder why Billy Boy is fuming. -
McCoy was here before McD and the only elite talent on the team. He'd also never been in real trouble.. close tho. McD is up at 5am MMA training. He's a different breed. Look at who he was willing to part with. I don't believe our team should be made of choir boys but being perceptive it's not hard to see that his expectations of conduct are higher on a moral ground than a lot of coaches. There's a lot to Zays situation we have no idea about. The league isn't disciplining him, the police aren't... why do you think the Bills need to?

Rams trying to trade for OBJ per NYDN
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They'll be competitive for a long time.. look how young that team is. May run into cap trouble when Goff needs to get paid but that's awhile from now. -
He Is Not Coming Here. The polar opposite of what Beane/McD are trying to build. To McD... attitude is everything. I believe he'd rather have a group of misfits that are out to prove they belong and willing to sacrifice individual accolades for the betterment of this team. Look what we did with cast offs last year. Beckham is not that. He's a prima donna, me-first egotist. Amazing at football, no doubt. But not what we want in Buffalo. (He's on my dynasty FF team, so I am watching this closely)

It is without a doubt the distraction piece. Tebow got the same treatment albeit he had less ability and did a lot less to deserve becoming a distraction. I'm not gonna base my assessment of Kap on win/loss records. That 49ers team was a mess his last year in the league. I also don't believe he can be an elite starting QB. But looking at him based solely on ability, without the distraction piece... he's good enough to atleast compete for the starting QB spot on OUR team. That says more about our QB room than Kap. God I hope McCarron turns the chip on his shoulder into the motivating force that propels him to being the unquestioned starter for our team. Who knows...

Rams trying to trade for OBJ per NYDN
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wanna say this is all posturing by the Giants to knock some $$ off the contract OBJ feels like he deserves. However, they may just see his departure as inevitable if they don't feel like he is worth being the highest paid player in the league. He can change an entire team, for better or worse. Would it be unreasonable to think the Giants could've been behind these recent pictures of doobie smacks and booger sugar being leaked? Are NFL teams so dubious that they'll throw another player under the bus to save some cash? How would Eli feel knowing the Giants are trading away their best player with unlimited potential, who is in his prime as Eli's window begins to close? Questions that circle my mind as this saga begins. Idk man... I just don't know. -
Agreed. Kap did what he felt was right. Is standing up for an issue that without question exists. Put his career on the line to be an advocate for positive change. Johnny Manziel really didn't need to speak out on this but it was a classy move. Id certainly prefer Kap in Buffalo than Manziel. However, my hope that a HC and GM are willing to sign Kap diminishes each day he goes unsigned. I understand why he isn't signed, IMO it has nothing to do with his ability to play football. Is this fair, no. But we're likely in for another season without him in the league. Josh Gordon... Ahhhh. Love this player on the field. Too bad Tyrod is his QB this year. I love Tyrod but he has his limitations as a passer and that's going to limit Gordon's impact. Watching Josh Gordon at 100% is incredible. Kid was built to be the best WR on the planet. Hope we see that again someday.

Agree with you. Mike Evans is a monster. Last year was disappointing but IMO he's still the most dependable of the bunch. -
The year prior to last, yes. As a Giant he was hard to watch. I just don't know how much the guy has in the tank. I'd prefer to have a speedster type vs big body guy. We've already got KB. If they bring him in I'm not gonna stand outside TBD with a pitchfork but I'm trusting my gut on this one and think he is about done. It really wouldn't shock me if he hung up the cleats and moved permanently to his TV role. However, he could be useful in a mentorship role. So I'm whatever about this idea.
-
He was absolutely awful before the injury last year. Block hands, he dropped everything. It was hard to watch. But the Bills Vulture mentality echoes in my head, it screams... "He'll be better for the Bills. He's just what you need. Better act quickly and pay him well or someone else is gonna luck out!" No... Nope. Not gonna do it. Pass.

If the NFL would jump on board the THC train like half of America has, maybe these issues would become a thing of the past. Food for thought I suppose. -
How Did Manziel Suddenly Become Relevant?
Eric Moulds on my A** replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Johnnys got the off field stuff handled. What he brings to a team on the field? Not much from what I've seen. However, we really should be shaking every tree we see. Johnny, Kap, RG3... idk. McCarron goes down and we're stuck with a Rook or Peterman? We can wave goodbye to a winning season right there. IK the above mentioned names all carry media burdens but McD seems like the type a guy to rise above all that. Benching Taylor for Peterman was not a popular decision and he took a lot of heat. However, it worked two fold. We saw that Peterman isn't the answer and it motivated Taylor, enough so that we snuck into the playoffs. Lions dont lose sleep over the opinions of sheep. -

Can our tailgating brotheren and sisters handle that type of anticipation? I just picture labatt cans littering the parking lot like fallen soldiers of war, a zombie-like entrance as incoherent mumblings fill the air, the dodging of smoldering broken tables and the inclination to utilize those blue turd tombs in preparation for what we hope to be a game that leaves us glued to our seats. Outcome being a big W for the Bills, followed by the chorus of chain reaction call ins to work on Monday. If we've been celebrating (or commiserating) this hard for the past 17 years, what will become of this fan base when we win more often than losing? We deserve prime time.. But I fear the world is not prepared for the mafia. -
That Bills fans are stupid fans because they root for a bad team. 17 years was a long time. Not to mention many people are born into their fandom or atleast inspired by close friends, family or where ya live. I'd be willing to bet Bills fans have the highest football IQ and are more aware fans overall. The information we have sifted through trying to figure out how to end this drought. Accruing knowledge is what happens when you cross off every possibility imaginable when trying to stop the bleeding. The heavy activity on this message board atleast shows our interest is heavier than most teams.
