It's just so frustrating to see Mike Evans and OBJ remain healthy (Beckham after his abcense from the start of his rookie year). I suppose you're right that the verdict is not out yet for Sammy. But we need to see it this year or he will end up being another casualty in FA.

A first round pick, in a WR heavy draft full of talent. We traded up, he barely played last year.It's a what have you done for me lately league. For what it's worth.. a healthy Sammy IMO is a top 3 WR in this league.

It's gonna suck when he leaves and then decides after landing with a contender that his footsie wootsie doesn't hurt anymore.

Cardale hasn't looked intimidated when given his opportunities. Meanwhile EJ was a 🦌 in headlights. I like Cardales confidence but he needs to be groomed.

Wasn't our pick.. but yeah. That was such a lame pick up. Dude is done.

It'd be cheaper too after his latest injury. Wasn't there doubt he would even come back to football? I like this idea.

I saw in another article where they were talking about him playing Justin Blackmon. Kept him under 100 yds (barely with 99) and no TD. Apparently he's a smart player, lacks speed but it seems like after he gets toasted he does his best to make up for it with a pick or some other spectacular play. Injuries are the reason we have him.

The want to be positive is overshadowed by our ineptitude. We deserve something good.

With the draft coming up I was thinking about the number of terrible first round picks we have made in the past. A lot of the members here may eclipse my memory of this teams drafting woes as I started following the Bills during the Super Bowl years as a young lad and am sure I missed some disappointing picks in the past. That being said I'd love to know the opinions of this informed board. Here we go... Worst 1st round pick for me: CJ Spiller An enormous bust outside of his 1 year with Chan running the show. This was a pick we did not need to make and definitely jumped the gun when making this decision. During this time we had Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson and Joique Bell filter through our RB corps. Marshawn was misbehaving and shown the door, then promptly made us look like idiots when the Seahawks surprised everyone beating the Saints while Beast Mode was showered in skittles after an indestructible run. Joique Bell landed with the Lions and became their #1 RB over time, obviously not on the level of Marshawn talent wise but made a significant positive impact on their team. And Fred Jackson who essentially saved our asses when's CJ showed his inability to be a true workhorse back. CJ Spiller was a huge disappointment and a bad pick when we had a bevy of talent with the team already. Who's your bugaboo, your oopsies, the player picked in the first that made you throw up in your mouth a bit? Mods, if this has been discussed then by all means close the thread.

He's not coming here... the Corey Washington pick up is the replacement big boy we were looking for. IMO

Pats and Steelers without question. Raiders for sure, Texomo and I could see Miamis offense being better this year. Wildcard Ravens?? We need Sammy healthy and our defense to bounce back. That could put us in the conversation. Really, who knows? We're due.
