  1. I really hope so. For as fast as he is he's proven good at tracking the ball and has decent hands. Hopefully he stays healthy, we don't need another fragile speedster. I like Logan Thomas too but I'm tempering my expectations. Changing positions isn't easy.
  2. Lynch was being a bonehead and getting into trouble. You think that his roping off his car nonsense would fly in Buffalo. Doubt it. BADOL is right.
  3. I'm playing devils advocate here but I'm guessing it's because we run the ball so much and well. Makes the priority for a top tier FA WR or even a high draft pick pretty low.
  4. In comparisons to what Robert Wood got.. its a steal.
  5. Yeah, I'm starting to see that. Knowledgeable posters, I'm grateful for the education. No matter how bad it hurts.
  6. Now the question is if that leak forced our hand and the additional dough. If that's the case it's BS.
  7. I like Holmes ALOT, but even I don't have these delusions. He's likely our #3... I hope.
  8. Admittedly I have not seen a lot of success for the Bills. Can't shake my fanhood though. Young or not.
  9. I am too, however I'm starting to think about OJ Howard. The thing about him is the lack of production in college (not utilized enough) and the growing pains most TE's have when adapting to the NFL speed and style of play. An example of this learning curve effecting play would be Eric Ebron and breaker of this logic would be Hunter Henry. It's risky for sure.
  10. Agree 100%, Cleveland still controls his contact right? It isn't out of the question that he returns to the Browns right?
  11. I posted the Writer underneath the title.. I suppose you'd come after me for jay walking too?
  12. Why The Oakland Raiders Should Re-Sign Andre Holmes by Gagan Aujla2 weeks ago After proving his worth on special teams and as a quality backup receiver, the Oakland Raiders should re-sign Andre Holmes. After the Oakland Raiders signed Andre Holmes to a 1-year deal during last offseason, it was clear that he was going to need to prove his worth to the team in 2016, and boy did he ever. Not only was Holmes a force on kickoff and punt coverage teams, but he was also one of the prime reasons as to why Marquette King had a breakout year. Without Holmes being able to get into the red zone for downing punts, King would not have been as successful in 2016. Along with his special team abilities, in the short time Andre was on the field for offense, he was often effective. One of Holmes underrated qualities was being an above average run blocker. According to sportingcharts.com, it was noted that Holmes did not have a single drop in 2016, which comes as a surprise considering how often Raiders receivers dropped passes. As the fourth option on offense, Holmes had 14 receptions for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns. Not the gaudiest stat line, but when called upon, he produced. Take for example the playoff game against the Houston Texans. Although there was very little positive to take away from the game, Holmes led all Raiders receivers with 4 receptions for 50 yards and 1 touchdown. Technically speaking, he has been the longest tenured receiver on the Raiders roster. Although he does not pose the biggest threat to opposing defenses, he has developed notable chemistry with Derek Carr. Bringing back Andre Holmes would ensure continued high-level special teams play for the Raiders, as well as provide a reliable option as the fourth option at receiver and a needed red zone target. Our special teams will be very formidable after seeing all these versatile signings. They say Holmes is a great blocker too! Cool, cool, cool http://justblogbaby.com/2017/03/01/the-raiders-should-re-sign-andre-holmes/
  13. Awesome news... finally. I am happy to be wrong with this one. Posted by Schefter, Vic and others. It's true
  14. In college I played lacrosse and for the first 3 years we were independent of a division and essentially had to win every game to make a postseason birth. My senior year we were absorbed into a brand new conference with teams who were bottom of the barrel. I was fortunate enough to captain this team to its first championship. Nothing like ending your lax career with a landslide win in the championship game, at your house. My point being, you are right. That would be the fastest way to get in the dance. No matter how unrealistic that may be.
  15. I'd rather not throw away a pick early on in the draft this year. Chad Kelly in the 5th would be suitable for our situation.
  16. My point with Spiller was that a RB was not even close to a need at the time. Spiller was serviceable for that 1 incredible year. When Marrone came in and Hackett said we would feed him the ball until he pukes, I was excited... yet again disappointed very soon after the season started. Couldn't handle the workload and has now bounced around the league ever since. * I am a little biased, I bought my Spiller jersey after that awesome year and have been burnt about it ever since.* The Graham pick was awful.. I remember posters on the board of which we do not speak of were all in a general consensus that we would draft Russell Wilson. What a bummer.
  17. I just lit into Rex about this in another thread. Too funny.
  18. Host: "Well, we were looking forward to this cupcake competition but somehow they've all gone missing." Rob: (face lit with contentment, slumps down in his chair... removes sprinkles from beard) "It wasn't me!"
  19. Hopefully he realizes you can't hang your hat on past accomplishments. They are just that, the past. It will be forgotten over time.
  20. How's the vibe at home Rob?
