  1. Well, what's your assessment of the last 17 years? That is likely my answer. Guess we'll see what happens with McD.
  2. Some are glass half full, some are glass half empty. Great players leave teams every year, good teams adapt and replace. You my friend are outside drinking from the garden hose.
  3. Agreed. Expecting the majority of positions to pan out from the 5th round on is a reach. However, Chad Kelly's issues were immaturity off the field and his current injuries. The talent IS there and he has debatably one of the strongest arms out of the QB crop this year. Let everyone else draft early on this bunch and take a shot at Chad. He will have the opportunity to sit back and learn. No pressure. Hopefully a few teams reach on QB, we trade back in the first and take BPA.
  4. I had a viewing party of about 10 dudes who weren't huge followers of the WWE so they were in no way watching for the story lines. They couldn't get over Shane O Mac and after that bout, everything failed to live up to those standards. They should've had that match up later in the card. Hardys coming back was definitely a highlight and they're still crazy as ever. Charlotte Flair impressed the guys too, when she corkscrewed off the top rope onto the grouping outside the ring... pretty cool. It was impossibly long though. I'm now hoping Styles moves to Raw, Reigns to Smackdown. Styles could fued with Balor for control of Bullet Club. Nakamura is supposed to debut too.. He's made for Raw but seems like he'd have more success with Smackdown (rosters a lil light over there). Looking forward to the draft, things need to be shaken up. Lastly, did you see the response Miz got from the crowd? WWE universe hates Cena and it was embarrassing to see how much time they wasted with that proposal. The only thing that could save Cena these days would be a Heel turn. Hope it happens. That guys gimmick has gotten too annoying for the above PG audience to stomach. Gotta say, for me... this Mania left quite a bit to be desired but was saved by Shane, Hardys and Undertaker hanging them up.
  5. Even after this kid has failed to live up to expectations, everyone knows Whaley loves a good reclamation project. It wouldn't surprise me if we sniff around Dion. #3 pick... ouch.
  6. Good point at the end there Boyst. These modern day gladiators may bank millions. But after being fitted for a wheelchair, living life in pain, watching your children play and knowing you can't help your son practice in the back yard. Makes you wonder if they'd give it all back for the simple pleasures we sometimes take for granted. Hoping the best for this dude, in life.
  7. Idk man, Carson stunk it up pretty bad last year.
  8. Wow, what a blanket statement. It takes much more than just a franchise QB to win a Super Bowl. Delusional thoughts from fantasy island. This years QB crop has been assessed to be less than impressive. So we're gonna waste our pick in the first round on one, again? I'm all for drafting a QB til it works out, not in the first, not this year. Could Mahomes be the real deal, sure. If it was a no brainer he'd be in the discussion for the first overall pick. Once in a generation QB's generate more buzz and have a overall general concensus of their ability. The assessment of this years class is all over the place. I'd pass.
  9. For all the flack the BBMB "refugees" have been getting for posting this and not researching that...The SEARCH function debates... Here is a guy true blue to TBD since 03, framing turds and calling it art with every original post. Instead of the slew of insults and the typical piggy backing by longtime members that happens when someone NEW does that here, this dude gets a gentle slap on the wrist and a "you should really cut it out, bud". This place is a riot. Next time one of you so called originals wanna dump on new members for sharing their thoughts, realize the same could be said for the crapola thrown out here by your "OWN". Someone had to put the Cahomes on the table.. Geesh.
  10. Yeah and Corey Coleman missed a lot last year, he doesn't profile as the #1 I'd be banking on either. We'll see what happens. Gordon may stay or not even be reinstated (highly unlikely).
  11. Hue, when recently interviewed admitted that if Gordon is reinstated they would have to heavily consider keeping him. After being burned this many times they recognize his league leading talents, the same ability that was on display last preseason, is worth giving another chance. If the Browns don't keep him there will be more than half of the NFL willing to hear what it takes to get him. I want to be at the front of that line. I'm sure I'm not alone. Could it backfire, yep. But he is one of the best receivers in the league and the benefits outweigh the risks IMO.
  12. Best I see we can do is 10-6, Worst 7-9. If the defense recovers and our offense continues to develop chemistry 10-6 is realistic. Less than 7-9, the hole in my soul continues to grow.
  13. Hop off the pedestal pal.. never put you there in the first place.
  14. Green Bay is starving for a legit RB. Cheeseburger Eddie, gone. Starks gone. And TY Montgomery will not last a full season given a real workload each week. If I'd want anyone from their stable it'd be Christine Michael. Starks? Gross. If Green Bay doesn't want him, neither do we. Gilly and J.Williams are promising young players. Why not let them develop and get the snaps necessary to do so? A big PASS on Starks.
  15. Signing two fullbacks in the first week of free agency is pretty indicative of what their game plan will be. Do I want a stud WR2... yeah. Do we actually need one? Probably not. How many targets do you think will even be available? Unless we trade back in this draft, I'll be lit if they take another WR in the top ten. Which is why I'm so interested in Josh Gordon. A trade back situation with Cleveland would be ideal.
  16. I was impressed with Marrones no-nonsense approach. Granted I grew up in Syracuse so I am impartial. Who knows if Marrone could've fully turned this ship around but Rex was a head scratcher when hired after Doug. Polar opposites of one another and what Marrone was doing with this team seemed to be working. Could've predicted what has occurred in Jacksonville and I'd be willing to bet Coughlin and Marrone get along pretty well, same old school mentality. I'm hoping McD being a disciplinarian of sorts whips our squad into shape. Tired of the penalties, suspensions and poor attitude some of our guys have demonstrated in the past. So far I like what I've heard and seen from the guy. He's gotten ringing endorsements from coaches I respect (Reid, Rivera). Frankly we need this to work, 17 years out of the playoffs makes me wanna upchuck. At this point I've produced enough Bile to fill the Nile.
  17. The Slammer? More like THE BUMMER! Right guys?... Buuurrrrnnnn. *crickets*
  18. Hahahaha, that's good stuff. Prestons got a quality sense of humor.
  19. His stint in Minnesota seems marred by injury. I read in an article that Zimmer was giving him a shot at Tackle this past summer. Can't find too much else on the guy. Depth at best?
