  1. Yeah, EJ was never great but he surely wasn’t close to “Peterman-bad”...Despite showing no potential in any regular season NFL games, Peterman has been given more opportunity to develop than any other late round pick I’ve ever seen, while at the same token EJ was given the single shortest leash I can remember with a 1st round QB. I mean realistically, Peterman had no business on this roster after what he showed us in his rookie year. If you have a late round pick and he showed no promise, then on to the next, definitely do not make him your opening day starter!!!!
  2. He hasn’t “clearly stated” anything of the sort. He stated he contemplated retirement a couple years back, and he intends to be a pastor after football... Besides that, the fact that he re-worked his contract after his big post season/Super Bowl giving him the option to opt out in the upcoming offseason... because he is so steadfast in retiring in green, sitting behind Wentz and not maximizing his value while he can... Last spot of of his career? He’s 29. Guy could start the next 10 years+ (if he proves capable as a starter) and make $200+ million still.
  3. This season is already a joke... might as well make it interesting
  4. Last name could be Moore, Leinart, Simms, Hasselback, Etc... all would be garbage at this juncture.
  5. Just start Logan Thomas... he has to know the playbook, and there is no way he’s worse than Peterman.
  6. They didn’t need to spend 3 draft picks on Allen- They could have kept Tyrod, made a better offer than New York, signed Bridgewater and had a true QB competition. While using those draft picks to fill the holes created by losing Wood and Incognito. They still would have had two 1s, two 2s, and a 3rd if they kept Tyrod. They could have still got Edmunds with the original 1st, drafted Jackson at 22 if they wanted a project QB, filled OL holes in the 2nd, and still got Phillips in the 3rd... These are all common sense, non-Madden approaches that could have been taken and kept this team developing while still competing... Instead we are stuck watching a 17 week train wreck.
  7. It should be in the current NFL. Anything less would be unacceptable. With the cap room and draft capital they have next year, any competent GM and coach would have this team winning football games next year.
  8. Watch Beane trade for him and Carr because that seat has to be getting warmer with every blowout and ***** show under Center.
  9. One rebuilding year is fine... A rebuilding year after making the playoffs for the first time in almost 20 years seems a bit backwards... besides, I’ve seen nothing from this current coach/GM to inspire any confidence that this current “rebuild” is actually going to lead this team anywhere except back to drawing the board to come up with blue prints for the next architectural makeover.
  10. That was the most blatant block in the back/hold I’ve seen not called on that Mahomes to Hunt TD... Bengal defender about to crush Mahomes, then gets pancaked... from behind
  11. That was the first game I ever want to. I was 9, and desperately was begging my mother to leave at half time because “it was over”... she kept saying “no, no, you just have to believe”, and I just kept saying “no mom, you don’t know football! It’s over!!!”. I guess Mom’s really are always right, except for Super Bowls...
  12. Well if McD is true to his word about always “doing what’s right for the team”, then he and Beane will definitely try bringing Bridgewater in next year... But they have painted themselves into a corner by giving up so much to land Allen, they will likely coddle him and keep Anderson or bring in another vet who poses no legitimate threat to the starting job long term. Plus they have essentially hitched their careers to this kid. Now “McBeane” has no choice but to surround Allen with as much talent as they can afford/draft and hope for the best or they are done, especially with how poorly they’ve handled the QB situation thus far during their short tenures in Buffalo.
  13. I would hope they try and sign him next year, allowing him to compete for the job... I don’t think he’s re-upping with the Saints, Brees isn’t about to retire, atleast not next year, and why would Teddy just keep waiting for his opportunity? If I’m Bridgewater, I’m pretty confident I can win an open competition vs Josh Allen...
  14. Really a shame this team didn’t sign Bridgewater in the offseason... Would’ve been perfect for this team, and they wouldn’t be wasting an entire season of solid defense with useless QBs.
  15. 3 road games NOT vs Minnesota, they have been outscored 79-3 through 10 quarters... Literally the worst offense I ever remember seeing on the field for the Bills, this is getting up there with NFL historically bad. I don’t know who is to blame, but two years in a row under McDermott the offense has gone from bad to “omg, for the love of sweet baby Jesus make it stop!”
  16. These games are just getting harder and harder to sit through
  17. Martavis Bryant just garnered a 3rd This team gave up a 4th for Bryce Brown. Shady is a HOF level back, still has plenty of juice in the tank and would be more motivated than ever going back “home” to try and help them repeat. If the Eagles believe Shady could be the missing piece to the puzzle, surely a 2nd or 3rd is worth going after another Lombardi trophy right now...
  18. If that pass rush can keep hitting Watson, I don’t think he makes it through the full 60 minutes... Back to back overtime games, in and out of the blue tent all last night, it’s really only a matter of time before he is sidelined. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not wishing injury on any body... but hit him early and often, and maybe they get to play against Brandon Weeden instead.
  19. Reminds of the movie “Powder”, so thank you, because I’ve tried to burn that one from the memory banks for a good 20+ years now...
  20. Is it wrong that I kinda hope he goes the route if Kap or RG 3 after this year? Not necessarily by injury, but as fan it would be hard to stomach this kind of sustained success when this team NEEDED a QB, he was just sitting there with no trade up required, and the front office/McD just said “Thanks, but we’re waiting til next year...”
  21. I could see them making a move for a young offensive minded coach... it might be a little early in his career, but I’ve said before DeFilippo is a guy that I would keep my eye on. I like McDermott as a person, I don’t see a Super Bowl winning coach in him, and that’s all that matters at the end of the day... His ceiling to me is maybe a Marvin Lewis, regular season success from time to time without the innovative/aggressive scheming and play calling to get the job done all the way.
  22. I must've missed those plays... chances are, if anybody "gets open", it's well after protection has broken down and Allen is already running for his life. What the Bills are doing right now is a lesson in how you do not develop a quarterback... this organization is a joke
  23. Sammy Watkins with an injury.... Shocking.
  24. If ever there was a “winnable” game so far this season... If they don’t sign Rishard Matthews, they officially aren’t trying to win this year.
