I think Jackson has as good of a chance as the top 4 guys in being a franchise QB. I would be happy if Bills get him with either pick in round 1. Rudolph to me would be a solid pick with our second round picks. I also like Mike White with pick 65 if we take BPA with our first 4 picks. The Bills are much higher in Peterman than I am. But that has to be included in the overall thought process.

Every thread about QB’s in this year’s drafts proves the point that we should stay at 12 and reap the benefits of the 6 picks in the top 95. There is no consensus pick. If there was a Andrew Luck or a Matt Stafford then by all means give all our picks away to go get him ? but since there isn’t a consensus pick stay at 12 and take Jackson or BPA. At 22 take Nackson if you didn’t take him at 12. Then take BPA there. Plus second and third round picks would totally turn this team into a young talented team.

This thread is the perfect reason why it’s dumb to give away a bunch of quality picks to go draft a guy that no one on this board knows how good he’s going to be. Allen might go number 1 to Cleveland. And there are people on here saying that would be a horrible pick at 12. Allen at 12 would be a upper deck grand slam of a pick. Unfortunately there’s 0% we would get him at 12. He has the most upside by a long shot. Him at 12 with the rest of our picks would probably be the best Buffalo draft of all time. That would be a great start. More realistically at 12 would be Jackson. I good with that also.

Everyone has a different answer. If Beane and co. Like Darnold he will be gone at 1. On to plan B. What if the Giants take a QB and the Jets now have the third pick. It’s a wrap. We’re still in great shape. We don’t have to have one of these 4 guys and we will still be good. I’m cool with Jackson and a LB with 12 & 22. And then we have 53, 56,65,& 95.man that’s a lot of draft picks in the first 3 rounds in which to build a Championship Team ???

Bills are one of 3 or 4 teams trying to sign him. I hope we get him back but I’m not nearly as confident as you. Especially with our low cap number right now. Somebody can give him a little more and it’s thanks for the memories Buffalo ?

Something like this will have us as a solid NFL Football team going forward. Any of the top 5 QB’s this year can end up being a franchise guy or a bust. Why mortgage the whole draft fo a 20% shot of hitting the mark.

I agree we can get him for less than 8 Million for this year. EGles need to move him in the next 22 hours as they need their house in order by 4PM tomorrow. A second this year and a 4th next year should do the trick. We would then have a solid QB for this season. If this happened I would take the best player available at 12 & 22 in the draft. I would take the QB from Western Kentucky with pick 65 if we don’t draft one earlier. With 12 we would be able to get Vea, Smith, Ward, or possibly Allen , Mayfield or Jackson. If Foles plays well next year we can extend him if we wish. I obviously feel Foles is a solid Top 10 QB. He has displayed that at times as recently as last year. I know I am in the vast minority here.

Totally appreciate all of the energy and information you bring to the board ,much respect ✊!! We will have to agree to disagree on this QB debate. I do trust our current brain trust to make the right decision. I’m not a fan of our current President (DJT) and for several months after he was elected I would try and point out all of his flaws to his supporters. I realized it wasn’t productive and was a true wast of time. Believe what you want time will tell and at the end of the day we all want best for the Buffalo Bills

Weak comeback which shows there aren’t any better options at least on paper with NFL resumes. It’s fun to throw darts at a board and hopefully hit the bullseye ? by using all of your draft picks for one dart. At best the odds are 25%. There are no Andrew Luck’s or even Eli Manning’s in this year’s draft. Beane knows how to develop a roster through the draft. Thank God ??They didn’t hire you as GM!!

Who does that’s available?? silly statement!! He’s the best possible player to make the Bills better at that position. There is no QB in the draft that you can say is going to be better than him. A couple of them may be but right now they don’t have a NFL resume. Nick Foles is not a top 5 QB but should be in the discussion of the lower end of top 10 (8th, 9th, or 10th). The Bills can trade for him using one of our firsts and maybe a lower pick or a 2019 4th we received from the Chiefs for Reggie Ragland. That way we will have a solid QB with money next year to resign him if he plays well. You would still have pick 21, 53, 56, 65, and 95 to help to solidify our defense and add a OL or WR. And although I liked TT, Foles would be a solid upgrade to a important position to a team that made the playoffs last year.

Depending on who and how we get a starting QB and what else we do in FA it would be great to draft both Harrison and Settle and let them grow together. Bring back Kyle on a fair contract along with Washington and maybe one other rotational guy would be solid. Would love to see Kyle mentor those two guys for a year or two?
