Sammy Watkins in Buffalo
transplantbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is this for real? Why isn't Beane looking at our most glaring positions of need at the moment in CB, TE and pass rusher? Granted I am sure he gets one or two of those in the draft next month and they'll be immediate starters... but still... aren't we stacked at WR now? -
Bills sign Mitch Trubisky, QB.
transplantbillsfan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Damn well better be for super cheap. This is out left field to me... especially considering Josh didn't miss a game last year -
Are you scared of the CAP?
transplantbillsfan replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you actually understand what a "salary cap" is? Yes there are ways to manipulate it. No one is "scared" of it because it's not some imaginary monster. This year it's $182.5 million. Nothing to be scared of because that's just the number all 32 teams are working around. Sheesh... win one Super Bowl and get crushed in another and suddenly you think you're the Football guru we Bills fans are lucky to have hanging around. -
I said earlier that I thought I remembered Joe B or Fairburn saying our draft class Cap allotment for this year was about $2.5 million, but evidently I was wrong. According to the Q & A Joe B had on the Athletic today, it's actually only $1.7 million

Who are you talking to? You sound like an idiot.

You probably have some serious issues with our first dozen or 2 Presidents considering the way elections were run from our nation's founding through the 1800s or so. The simple fact is that we've been getting better at elections... not worse. You can cherry pick an irregularity here or a single case of fraud there... but nothing widespread. The "Trump Supporters" case consists of constant and consistent examples of logical fallacies (Sampling bias, Confirmation bias, etc) that belie the actual argument itself. I bet if you dug deep into every single case you believe you have of fraud, you'll find that most aren't actual fraud if you're being objective. I say this not as a guess. I say this because I actually bothered doing it spending time with the lunatics on that other board with the belief (that turned out to be blind hope) that they could see reason and be pulled out of the rabbit hole. Oh... and it's wildly presumptuous of you to think that everyone who voted for Trump believes what you believe. They don't.
-
Actually... you're the side that has the proving to do... and you failed time after time after time in the courts and with audits and recounts. Your argument that Trump won this election has been verified multiple times by officials who wanted him to win. Just because you desperately wish there was widespred fraud doesn't mean there was. Be grateful Donald Trump was President... even if it was just for one term and he left office in disgrace.

Still believe the Big Lie, huh? 2020 was a free and fair election run by and then scrutinized by Republican officials on State and Federal levels as well as Trump appointed judges on all levels. The very belief you're espousing is what drove a violent, seditious insurrection at the Capital on January 6th. You're on the wrong side of history... the side that's trying to destroy our Country. Wake up and accept that your guy lost because the American people wanted him out of office. It really is that simple.
-
Nah... you're just used to the last guy and Biden watched him step all over his own feet constantly tripping all over himself. Biden understands the American people don't want to deal with a Soap Opera in the White House every day so he stays out of the spotlight because he doesn't need to be in it... he has a job to do that was completely abdicated by the last guy in the middle of a Pandemic once he realized he lost an election.

Cop shot in the head 4x over T-shirts.
transplantbillsfan replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This event made me shudder as I watched it... even the possibility of what it appears to be at first glance is just despicable. Shameful the insane increase of violence on Asian Americans. Even more shameful is the fact that so many idiotic Americans lump all Asians together. My wife is Asian and I'll just say I'm glad the state we live in is Hawaii. Luckily she pulls more of the Thai/Indian/Hawaiian whereas her sister pulls more Chinese/Hawaiian. Her sister lives in Missouri right now. -

Why are you starting what appears to be an overtly racist thread by cherry picking a single tragedy among the myriad that happen every day crossing all racial/ethnic/religious lines? What's your agenda? I sincerely hope it's not the racist one it appears to be... -
Do you really consider this a stunning plot twist? We were all able to actually hear the recording of Trump with Georgia's Secretary of State. If CNN and WaPo changed words shame on them... but it's a far less crime than Trump making those multiple calls to Georgia officials in the first place. Oh... by the way... was this all before or very well after Trump lost the election by a landslide?

I'm going to bed now. If I wake up and we didn't sign someone big, Cynthia Frelund is a B word for 2 reasons: 1) Being a tease 2) Having a last name that's terribly spelled fugly???? I don't think she's hot, but I don't see anyone calling her fugly. Give her a nose job and she's ready for primetime.

There was an Athletic article with a great Cap breakdown I read a week or 2 ago by Joe B or Fairburn that analyzed our needed Cap space for our draftees and factored in the top 51 on the team and everything and I want to say the number they came up with was $2.5 million. I know it was no more than $3 million. Is this before or after the Lee Smith trade?

Fitz has had an unbelievable career as a borderline backup QB.

Perfect time for me! That's 3:40 Hawaiian time and I'm on Spring Break so I can still surf in the morning with plenty of time to watch the game!

Jordan Poyer admits to being an alcoholic
transplantbillsfan replied to Markaf431's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Super courageous of him and glad he got sober and shared it. Crazy that it was that playoff loss that looks like it pushed him over the edge. No one can ever say he doesn't care about the game. And on top of being incredibly hot, his wife is also loving and supportive. -
Taysom Hill gets $140 million over 4 years
transplantbillsfan replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So now they're just gifting $35 million annual contracts to completely unproven QBs???? -
I think it's funny that every single time we resign one of our guys (Milano, DW, Mongo) the reaction is "WELP!!! There goes Free Agency!" Beane will sign some Free Agents... probably one fairly "big" one. Haven't you guys figured out he's a Wizard?
-
What I love is that there's only one other ACC team in our bracket. Familiarity has never been Syracuse's friend in the tournament. Anyone know what time the game is on Friday?
-
Bills re-sign Feliciano
transplantbillsfan replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But I kept hearing that Milano, Williams and Feliciano were all leaving... so that was incorrect? Guess Beane pulled another rabbit out of his hat. And I guess he believes culture building and continuity with the right people is more important than playing Madden in Free Agency. -
Okay... so does Georgia Tech and Georgetown bids knock Syracuse out?

I really hope you're right.
