  1. He's making this everyone's business with long rants and responses to his followers, unfortunately.
  2. How many are threatening retirement? Cole made it clear he's financially set... he almost washed his hands of the sport if he's forced to stick by these protocols... which make it so that he doesn't have to get the vaccine he's complaining about. How many other players are going to pronounce they're financially set in the same way?
  3. The surgery is "proven to work..." I don't disagree. My guess is he was put under anasthesia... have you cross referenced negative long term side effects or death of anasthesia vs negative or long term side effects or death or the Covid vaccine?
  4. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/bills-receiver-cole-beasley-says-hes-spoken-with-nflpa-regarding-new-covid-19-protocols/article_1b37a5a0-cfd2-11eb-aca8-8fc42a64e7ad.amp.html "everybody is so all in on science now more than I have ever seen. What happen (sic) to God's will?" A follower pointed out that vaccinations are a choice, but asked if Beasley would let a doctor repair an injury were he to get hurt. For example, the receiver underwent core-muscle surgery in 2019. "Depends on the injury," Beasley responded. "When I get sick, I naturally get better. If I don't, then it was my time. Nobody is gonna be here forever." Jesus... I'm sorry I started reading some of what he’s been saying.
  5. Well, then let him retire. I don't know how the protocols are all that unreasonable. I'm obviously late to this discussion, but I assume he's 100% serious??? I love Beasely as a player, but he's turning himself into a pretty bad distraction this offseason. He would be missed, but how much longer will he be with the team, anyway? I hope this blows over, but if he's serious, he should retire because I don't see the protocols changing. Are people here arguing that they're somehow unreasonable?
  6. I think the writer viewed it as one more reason to show a picture and video of Josh’s girlfriend. Fine by me. 😀🙃😁
  7. To me the throw that was maybe the most impressive all year and was the one to Diggs where Allen was running for his life to his left and while still running was able to turn his body and throw a pass that went 30 yards (released at the 22 and caught in the back of the EZ) that was an absolute dime. Incredible pass for what shows up on the stat sheet as like a 10 yard TD pass.
  8. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/platform/amp/2021/6/10/22525070/crumbling-their-cookies-why-arm-strength-matters-analysis-josh-allen In 2020, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen’s passes traveled an average of 21.4 true air yards. This was most in the league, per ESPN. “True air yards” represents the actual distance the pass traveled accounting for horizontal distance, as opposed to simply “air yards,” which measures distance traveled perpendicular to the line of scrimmage.
  9. Is the 2 week thing new? I thought it was always 2 weeks after the last preseason game.
  10. I don't think @Rochesterfan's post was remotely an indictment of Mahomes as a player... more as a person and (maybe??) as a leader, and I think this is perfectly reasonable. Honestly some of you are nuts. The Chiefs have been the vastly more talented team offensively for the last 3 seasons and the Bills finally appear to have caught up talent-wise to even have this conversation. Josh Allen carried this team completely on his shoulders his rookie year, got at least a little help his 2nd year and more his 3rd year. But he's the fulcrum for this team. He has more rushing Touchdowns since being drafted than fellow 2018 draftees Nick Chubb and Lamar Jackson--and he has 67 passing TDs to Jackson's 68. Just think about Josh Allen with a competent offense from the beginning...
  11. To me with PFF's historic dislike of Allen, this is a backhanded compliment. I am NOT saying Daboll isn't an awesome play caller, but I actually think too much attention has been paid to Allen growing as a QB and not enough attention has been paid to Daboll growing as a play caller.
  12. I think he really got screwed by being a rookie during the Pandemic and not being around trainers. He did exactly what they asked... he just worked too hard to do it. When I saw him for the 1st time on the field last year I had no clue who he was. It's more than a distant possibility that he becomes a real force on the DL this year now that he's had a full offseason with trainers and had the opportunity to discover the speed rusher inside him.
  13. Isn't this just part of the larger conversation here?
  14. https://theathletic.com/2637907/2021/06/09/it-opened-up-a-whole-new-world-how-a-j-epenesa-is-preparing-for-year-2-with-the-bills?source=user-shared-article Epenesa, the Bills’ second-year defensive end and 2020 second-round pick, spent the majority of his offseason at the team’s facility in Orchard Park. He took some brief trips back home Illinois to spend time with family but opted to do his training at the team’s facility. After dropping too much weight prior to his rookie season and struggling to put it back on, Epenesa wanted to train under the guidance of Buffalo’s strength staff. And while the Bills haven’t put on pads yet, Dawkins has noticed the results. ... “Football is such interesting sport where the weight room matters so much more than other professional sports, in my opinion,” Phillips said. “So, if you’re 10% stronger, it doesn’t mean you’re going to be a 10% better football player, but there is a give and take. To see guys in the offseason, like AJ and some of these other rookies going from year one to year two or year two to year three really take advantage of the offseason and really take advantage of still being young.” Epenesa now must face that challenge again. Coaches have praised Epenesa for the work he’s put in to get himself just above 250 pounds, but he still has to get closer to 260 pounds to reach what the coaching staff considers his ideal playing weight. Then he has to maintain it. ... “I think it opened up a whole new world for me, because I was mainly known as a power rusher,” Epenesa said. “And a lot of my speed moves weren’t as effective. And then now that I’ve cut some weight, and that I’ve gotten a little quicker, I’ve been able to change my game a little bit and kind of develop and adapt to being a little more of a speed slash power rusher rather than being so one sided.” ... “I honestly think this is a fresh start for A.J.,” Dawkins said. “He’s a different A.J. just with a stronger mind. As far as his presence on the football field, drastically different. And that’s just from what he’s been doing this offseason. So I have no idea. But I do think that it’s going to be great just because of the approach he’s taking already. He’s just doing it. He has his best foot forward already, which puts him in a great margin of success because he did what he’s supposed to do. And it should help him. And it will help him.”
  15. https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/news/murphy-rodgers-saga-dividing-fan-base "The situation we face with Aaron Rodgers has divided our fan base. The emails and letters that I've received reflect this fact. As I wrote here last month, we remain committed to resolving things with Aaron and want him to be our quarterback in 2021 and beyond. We are working to resolve the situation and realize that the less both sides say publicly, the better."
  16. The whole show was fantastic. Brought me back to my True Detective days... season 1 of which might be the best "standalone show" I've ever seen.
  17. Means nothing because it's practice... but Singletary sure does separate himself from the pack in that RB drill.
  18. I will happily take a look at all the plays you direct my attention to. It's pretty easy... just say time and quarter and I can easily find the play... unless of course you're making stuff up and talking out your butt...
  19. Well... this I agree with. This is also very, very different from what @NewEra stated.
  20. Ya know... this might be an argument if there weren't so many other "more" reasonable posters making the same arguments I am. But they are, so your ad hominem attack fails and makes it pretty clear you're desperate at this point... that's just too bad... That's fine. I don’t believe you.
  21. We didn't actually land on the Moon. I don't have time to prove it. You don't believe me? That's on you.
