  1. No Brady wasn't playing a backup QB. But he was playing the cellar dwellers of the AFC East. Buffalo was 6-10 that year.
  2. Kansas City went up by 27 points against the Broncos last year. Mahomes threw 3 interceptions in that game and the Broncos nearly came back to win it. Dan Orlowski in his One Bills Drive interview the other day was actually talking about how Mahomes had to go through a similar "grow up" phase because of games like the one Josh played on Sunday.
  3. Neither was Josh. You understand that QBs are on offense, right?
  4. Manning and the Broncos were up by 10 in the 2nd quarter in 2020 against Cleveland in a 3 Interception game for Manning. Fortunately they came back and won in OT by 3. Don't be stupid. You asked a question and I answered it. Now because you didn't expect the answer you have to throw in a logical fallacy to try to deflect. Be better.
  5. Didn't have to look far. In a game we can all remember quite well, Brady and the Pats went up 21-0 against the Bills in the 2nd quarter and threw 4 interceptions.
  6. Good question. You're putting this out there almost as a rhetorical question. Are you asking this because you know and none of them were?
  7. Before making a statement like "this was on another level," you should have gone back to understand the context of all those multi interception games by all those HOF/Elite QBs. Myopic viewpoint without those.
  8. Seriously? This was the worst game of Josh Allen's career. But Josh said today that he may have another game he throws 3 interceptions. That's just reality. Peyton Manning had four 4 interception games and one 6 interception game with at least 6 years experience in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers had two 3 interception games with at least 6 years experience in the NFL. Tom Brady had two 4 interception games with at least 6 years experience in the NFL. Drew Brees had four 3 interception games, two 4 interception games, and one 5 interception game with at least 6 years experience in the NFL. Mahomes had a 3 interception game last year. Burrow had a 4 interception game last year. Saying this game by Josh was at a different level of badness is just a myopic perspective.
  9. That last interception was perhaps largely on Gabe's piss poor route running. Aikman and Buck were talking about it on the broadcast. If Gabe gave even the slightest head juke to the inside Whitehead would have likely been delayed enough for a completion there. Instead, he ran straight to a spot. Either Diggs hasn't taken Gabe under his wing and taught him how to run routes or Gabe is a terrible learner.
  10. Fair question because I would also like to see Allen under Center a lot more. That's a Dorsey issue. But I think you could see the shifts in alignment and run philosophy as well. Just don't love all the shotgun habdoffs.
  11. Just added that to the post actually. I think the atmosphere there was huge. You could hear it during the National Anthem. I've never heard the National Anthem sung so loudly in unison by the fans. Have you? I think the build up to that game all offseason and then the stage itself begged Josh to play hero and he tried to oblige, but failed miserably. But Josh bounces back from his bad games in his career. And with this being maybe the worst he's ever played, I think it's more than 1 game.
  12. Have we all taken our deep breaths yet? Let's be honest, the Bills have wildly shifted their offensive philosophy. I understand it didn't necessarily look like that in the game against the Jets, but the Bills went from being the team with the lowest percentage of 12 personnel in the NFL last season to being the highest in week 1. That signals a massive offensive philosophy shift. But obviously it didn't look like that on the field, which was really just because of poor choices by Josh yesterday. Josh played what I think was his worst game in the NFL yesterday. So what? Disregard his previous 5 years? It took 5 years, but suddenly he's figured out? Idiotic. Josh will have bad games in the future obviously, but I think he needs to get his feet under him in this offensive philosophy. The Jets, in hindsight, may have been the worst team to trot out a new offensive philosophy and try to get comfortable against. It was Monday night on September 11th in the general metropolitan area and the atmosphere was clearly electric. Hero Ball from Josh seemed almost inevitable looking back on it. On top of all this, Sean McDermott is calling the defense (with a brand new young MLB) for the first time ever as Head Coach... mighta been an issue... particularly on an 83 yard run where everyone was misaligned. I was actually impressed with the play of Bernard and especially Benford on our D. I just think this idea that this national narrative in the offseason that "the Bills didn't improve because they stayed the same" is, at best, half true. We still have to wait to see if the Bills improved... but a lot has changed: Shift to 12 personnel All the offensive philosophies that go with that Shift to HC as DC (How much is he in Josh's ear) 2 new OL New QB of the Defense in Bernard New CB2 etc.
  13. And he caught all 4 of his targets. please please please can Dorsey find a way to set our offensive game plan up so Kincaid is always in that short to intermediate part of the field as a safety valve to Josh and start making him the first read?
  14. Honestly, I think Dorsey's playcalling is what's hurting Josh. A lot of weird calls putting us in bad down and distance situations and suddenly Josh feels like he has to be the hero. I think against most Defenses he could be just that. But the Jets D is clearly pretty awesome. I really would have liked to see more intermediate throws with Kincaid in the middle of the field in our game plan. And what happened to traditional play action with Josh under center? He's always thrived under that and utilizing more of those run plays under center would probably help Cook, too. The whole "Josh is broken" narrative is beyond ridiculous, but this team needs to get things right, and Josh and Dorsey are at the center of it.
  15. How about bad 2nd half against the Packers in a game in hand, the Jets have Josh's number and an elbow injury...? Horrible game, but let's not say stupid stuff like Josh is a bad QB
  16. Actually, I thought he was better than I expected. I might have had a low bar though.
  17. You heard the part of Buffalo needing a new stadium a few years ago, right? Ya think a team extending a 17 year playoff drought to 20+ and beyond with a mediocre QB is getting the public backing for funding? Nice name
  18. Josh Allen is literally the greatest thing to happen to Buffalo. He ensured the team will never leave. The new stadium truly should have his name on it. For that reason alone, Bills fans should never complain. Regardless, all these reports are ridiculous. Jordan Palmer works with Josh every offseason and always raves about how hard he works and how badly he wants a Lombardi.
  19. Holy crap! I think we might have the best roster in the NFL when you combine roster and practice squad! I can't believe we pulled Ingram back to the PS. That along with Isabella, Kirksey and Ankou as our vet PS players along with all the young potential we pulled in like Ateman, Shavers and Kline and I'm stoked!
  20. Does anyone know the exact terms of the trade? When they're announced can the OP please post them so we don't have to sift through 25 pages of crap that complain about a guy being moved who was never going to contribute to this team this year, anyway?
  21. You left out "it's in my blood." For the record, I have watched every single Bills game rooting for them, including that terrible 2010 team.
  22. Horrifying. The local news has been consumed by this and you just can't take yourself away from each individual horror story. Gonna end up being the worst fire in American history. Shouldn't happen in modern times. We're super dry in the state generally, though. Wednesday I drove next to a brush fire on Wednesday in Wahiawa that burned 450 acres. Today I heard there was another brush fire on Old Farrington Road between where I live and where my in-laws live. @GoBills808 I'm glad you and your farm are okay. Big Island so frequently gets hit hard... glad you were spared of this. Need the rainy season
  23. I really don't mean to make a joke about this because my sister is bipolar, but I truly thought this was going to be a thread about the main page and all Bills fans after preseason game #2.
  24. I did the same. Watched a replay 24 hours after the game but read the comments first. People are stupid. Kincaid is going to be a stud. Might as well try to lock Davis up long term already. Allen will still be one of the 3 best QBs in the NFL this year. 3 biggest takeaways from this game.
  25. Josh Allen is still amazing. Dalton Kincaid is going to be amazing.
