  1. Pretty much makes zero sense based on the way all those QBs have actually been playing.
  2. Yesterday's podcast asked if this year is shaping up to be Josh Allen's best season, yet. His answer was yes, so far. Whatever you say Thurm. Yesterday's headline specifically asked if this season is JA's best season, yet. The question is asked right there in the headline. And his answer so far is yes. Trust you to be totally abscessed with me, though
  3. Dude are you paying attention to what you're saying? If you are... are you watching football that isn't Bills football? Go scope out the number of Turnovers all those other QB MVP candidates have and get back to us. And then after you make some ridiculous claim like Allen having more Turnovers than Mahomes (by 1), Tua (by 1), Jackson (by 2), or Lawrence (by 3) take a look at how many more TDs Allen has than all of them.
  4. Mahomes & Purdy seriously falter. Cousins tore his Achilles. Who's actually ahead of Allen right now?
  5. Lots of praise to go around to players and Dorsey alike, but... watch the first 10 minutes or so and you'll get the idea. Josh bein Josh.... which of course is to say Josh being one of the very best players in the NFL.
  6. Not gonna lie... 1st season ended terribly so stopped watching
  7. I respectfully disagree. Allen is in perfect position right now. Other than that Jets game he's been pretty good to really good. Now in the next 9 games he has games against Burrow, Tagovailoa, Mahomes and Hurts. If Allen outduels 3 or 4 of those guys in those games and the Bills win 3 or 4 and don't lose more than 1 other, he's set himself up so he'd be hard to not to vote for. That's a lot of ifs... but honestly all the other candidates have those ifs, too. Right now Mahomes has 7 fewer TDs, 3 fewer turnovers and just over 100 fewer total yards. Seems like Allen is way ahead in the most important stat (other than #QBwins) and really isn't that much worse in the other ones. So what are we going on here? An assumption Mahomes will win it because the Chiefs will light up the 2nd half of the season? Have we been watching the Chiefs? He already played both twice. And actually he often seriously struggles against the Broncos.
  8. As far as yesterday goes, he's crushing it. What else did he need to do? I think yesterday might have been his best game of the year.
  9. It's weird that something that was a positive revelation tonight you've turned into a negative.
  10. That's fine. Just seemed like a weirdly skeptical post when he has 6 more TDs than #2. I guess we should watch out for Cousins
  11. Still too close, but what a game by Josh even with an injured shoulder. I still absolutely HATE that we aren't QB sneaking it every single time we have a 3rd or 4th and 1. Hello? Tush push every time please???? Guys... right now Allen is #1 in the NFL in 2 important stats: 71.7% completion percentage 22 TDs This first tweet shorts Allen one TD, which almost emphasizes the point.
  12. I don't even know. How long for that to heal?
  13. Man... Josh is hurt. Seems like every time they show him he's clenching his fist and shaking his arm
  14. I never saw an official announcement that Isabella and Norman were called up from the Practice Squad. Were they?
  15. @HappyDays I'll never doubt you again
  16. Can't we trade for him and immediately extend him? Or since teams need to have that CAP space available before acquiring a player, work out the deal with the Raiders so that they extend him to exactly the contract we want before we sign him? I don't know if that's possible... but it could make the trade work. Renfrow's current contract is just over $11m AAV. He's Cole Beasley, but better. I would much rather pay Renfrow $11m for the next handful of seasons and draft a WR in the first few rounds than pay Gabe Davis the $13-$17m he's going to get as a 2nd contract.
  17. More and more people are talking about the idea of trading Davis. Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot talked about it on their podcast today. Say what you want about them but those 2 are pretty dialed in to the Bills. Parrino was ironically talking about a trade with our upcoming opponent involving some kind of combination of Davis, Evans, David & picks.
  18. You really think Gabe is going to get less than $15m AAV?
  19. That's not an outlandish range from 2-4, but I agree a 2nd is unlikely. Why would we get a 4th rather than a 3rd as a comp pick for Gabe? Explain that formula. Regardless, I could see it as addition by subtraction. Shakir flashes when he gets opportunities. Same with Harty. A 4th this year is more valuable than a 4th next year.
  20. Soooooo... would you guys trade Davis for a 2nd-4th round draft pick right now? That's somewhere in the range of what he'd fetch. Take a look at the Chase Claypool trade to the Bears. And I think this season is proving more and more we won't keep him. He doesn't fit in our new offense. We're no longer a down the field passing team... the Bills require WRs who win at the LOS for short, quick gains. Fortunately or unfortunately, that's our new offense. Gabe doesn't fit.
