This is a pretty dominant topic in terms of Josh Allen for years now. The funny thing is, outside of that one play that Josh Allen has thrown 4 interceptions on this year, Allen's turnover worthy plays are actually incredibly low. And as for that one play... I hope sending Dorsey packing gets that play out of our playbook... or at least sets up Brady to mix in some trickery designed around that specific play.

It's not logical to you only because of his lack of tangible offensive production. Knox was on the field more than Kincaid was when he was healthy and during that stint that Knox was there and healthy, the offense was its most productive. It's not everything. But it's not nothing.

another tackle isn't a receiving threat. Part of the reason 12 personnel is theoretically so successful for the passing game is because when you have 2 TEs in the lineup, you're in traditional run formations and the D has to make a choice to either play the run with a traditional 3 LB setup or go into a nickel formation, putting a mismatched smaller DB on either Knox or Kincaid. That was kinda the whole idea of what this offense was moving towards in terms of philosophy for this season. It was working while Knox was on the field and healthy, regardless of what his actual numbers were. Call him a decoy if you want. Another tackle would not be a decoy. And you can't really substitute any other TE we have on the roster for Knox because they aren't the dual (blocker & receiver) threat that he is.

When did you come back? You just wanted to come back for the tire fire? With the way this NFL season has been going it's really stupid for anyone to dismiss the idea of any team beating any other NFL team. Here's the Billsy thing that'll happen, though. Bills beat the Jets, shock the Eagles, beat the Chiefs coming off the by, beat the Cowboys at home. Fanbase back in it and riding high... and... we lose the last 3 against the Chargers, Patriots and Dolphins. Out of playoffs and drafting in the mid teens flashing back to the drought years.

Knox injured his wrist against the Jags. He played 2 more games before going on IR, but admitted he was basically a shell of himself. 3 games since. The entire offseason this offense practiced 12 personnel as our primary offense and it sure looked good weeks 2-4. I keep going back to a podcast by Joe Marino of Locked On Bills sometime over the last few months (can't remember when) about the common misconception about 11 vs. 12 personnel. It boils down to the fact that teams are actually much more successful passing the ball from 12 and much more successful running from 11. Maybe someone can remember the episode and post it, but it made perfect sense even though it's the opposite of many would think. So with Knox out at least 1 (?) more game, is he really the cog the offense is missing? He's also Josh Allen's BFF... might be another component.

Why is it that Dorsey coaches an offense that's so freaking predictable??? Josh Allen has thrown nearly the exact same interception 3 weeks in a row. While that's inexcusable for Allen, it's also obvious that teams keep seeing that play on film and know exactly when it's going to happen. And then of course there's the absence of any motion or creativity in the backfield. Allen even seems almost scared to run it at times that he used to just take off. I think we might need to hope Daboll doesn't get what he asks for in NY and he comes back to Buffalo. He'll not only bring some creativity back, but maybe he can also rein Josh in again in terms of his turnovers.

Players were culpable for this loss. McDermott shouldn't be throwing anyone under the bus in his PC, but Allen was 100% responsible for 2 turnovers, Gabe Davis was 100% responsible for 1 turnover and James Cook was 100% responsible for 1 turnover. I guess I take the above back... Dorsey holds some responsibility for Allen’s 2nd interception. That's 3 games in a row that play has resulted in an interception. Predictable much? Regardless, I would also say it's on Bernard (he was the one in the back for the FG, right) to count the men on the line to make sure there weren't 12. But aside from that last missed then made field goal, the Bills had no business really even being in this game with all those turnovers on offense and crazy lopsided field position battle we lost.

At the moment, I agree with you. Still holding out hope he goes rogue or Dorsey decides to turn the offense into the K-gun 2.0 for the rest of the season, though Don't you mean good defenses? I don't really think we play any bad defenses the rest of the year.

If we're talking this year, Mahomes is absolutely not a lot more consistent. If you watch a lot of other teams, particularly Kansas City, you'd know that.

I thought you actually watched other teams. Now I wonder if you do. Burrow has exploded in the last 2 games, but Mahomes has been a worse QB than Allen this year. It's objectively true, but his team is much better, which is why his MVP odds are higher than Allen’s. Don't believe that's true? Please explain how Mahomes is so much better than Allen this year...

This is tiring. You're just going to keep moving goalposts. I think you're talking offensive production. It's kinda hard to keep track at this point. Maybe you should clarify... team wins? QB stats? Offensive production? Defensive production? Wins against teams with winning records???? Seriously... what specifically is your argument? Your offensive production argument vs 2021 carries no weight. First of all, if you're thinking offensive production, we are NOT in a 5 game slump. Tampa and Jacksonville would be excluded. In both games we gained more yards than the average NFL yards gained this season along with scoring more points. Even if you want to exclude the London game arguing garbage time, you can't do that with the Bucs game. Again, maybe you should wait a few games.

I think you should wait until we're 7-6 or worse before proclaiming the 2021 comparisons are ridiculous. So if we go 2-2 in our next 4 games, bring this back. I know you believe that is, at best, our record in the next 4 games, so remembering shouldn't be an issue.
