So who are the other 1 or 2 you're talking about who always slam Taylor other than yourself?

We could go 11-5 and it's not all that crazy.

Screw that! 12-4 and the #2 seed baby!!! -
Let's just be honest here, there is absolutely nothing that Taylor can do to impress you. And who cares whether you have enough confidence and whether we can beat New England or not? Buffalo already beat two teams that are probably better than New England in the Falcons and the Broncos. And we did it with Tyrod Taylor as our quarterback.

Bang, our WRs can't friggin get open down the field. Or stone hands Jones ends up dropping the football like he did at the end of the Carolina game or on that embarrassingly clumsy 3rd down play last week. Everyone keeps saying they just want to see Taylor throw the football, but multiple times yesterday even during the game the broadcast guys were commenting on how none were open on a disturbing number of plays. Now that Dennison knows Clay is out along with Matthews I hope he schemes our guys open somehow.

You're not getting your wish dude. It could easily get worse. We've got a +15 point differential. We're in every single game. Like it or not, a big part of that is the fact that we aren't turning the ball over. That matters a lot more than some apparently realize. Teams like the Cardinals and Giants are losing essentially because they're QBs are giving games away. Pittsburgh did it yesterday. That's not a statement from me that Taylor is better than any of those quarterbacks. It is me saying that we clearly have a certain approach to winning football games. Mcdermott pretty much has it set in stone and it involves the Defense carrying the football team with a game manager at QB. And we are winning. I would say try enjoying the ride, but given your username that clearly won't happen at all ever. Peterman very likely will never be the Buffalo Bills starting QB and almost certainly not our Franchise QB. See you when you change your username.

Bills vs. Bengals Postgame

Oh. So you think Taylor should shoulder all the blame? You used to be someone I considered relatively level-headed. Guess I was wrong. -
SAL M: Bills WRs have no business being starters.
transplantbillsfan replied to JM2009's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Literally the worst WR corps in the NFL and now not even a bonafide starter at TE. Inevitably the All 22 will have a play here and there where Taylor could have thrown the ball and the anTy guys will suck off the marrow of those plays as proof Taylor sucks without acknowledging the vast majority of other plays where they were covered. These are the leeches latching onto one play on the final drive where Clay was open enough for Taylor to throw the ball but still had a defender on his back while ignoring the surprisingly large number of plays shown in the broadcast from the bird's eye view that show pretty clearly that our WRs just weren't getting separation. It's gonna be a loooong 2 weeks. I just hope McDermott addresses the severe deficiencies in our offensive weaponry. -
YESSSS!!! Maybe he helps! 2 weeks of preparation off a loss going into 2 straight home games and a softer part of our schedule. Maybe our OL gets it together and we start producing a bit offensively.

Nothing about playcalling or our seemingly inept running scheme? We have one of the best RBs in the NFL and had what worked as a great run blocking scheme last year and now Dennison has implemented a scheme where our OL is constantly pushed 3-4 yards into the backfield leaving Shady no room. Didn't the announcer say something about Shady having the 2nd or 3rd most runs for negative yards in the NFL so far? That's just pathetic. And I think it's part scheme and part playcalling. I'm fine with 3-2. We all would have been happy with that at the start of the season. And we haven't played a bad team, yet. Hell, the Jets are 3-2. Regroup for the bye and come back to protect home field.

Tyrod Played Okay

So suddenly the Broncos and Falcons aren't good teams? Dude, you're just dense. You're also pathetic with how you're relishing in a bad game by our passing offense. Outside of 2 games against the Patriots and a game in Arrowhead against KC, our schedule after the bye looks a bit more favorable than what we started the season with. -

This obsession with yards is just pitiful. Yards is purely what determines pass offense rankings. The number two pass offense is the Arizona Cardinals. Losing record but they must be losing in spite of Carson Palmer's heroic efforts, right? Oh wait, that's not the case. The guy has as many interceptions as touchdowns and is under 60% and his completion percentage. The NY Giants haven't won a single game despite being the 6th "best" passing offense in the NFL. This passing offense ranking obsession is pathetic. This game was a stinker. But it was like the perfect offensive storm of utter crap: a porous OL, the worst WR corps in the NFL, Taylor's #1 go to weapon getting hurt, terribly predictable play calling, untimely penalties negating big plays, WRs dropping balls and not getting open, and yes, of course Taylor making some bad decisions not throwing the football and misfiring a couple throws. This was as ugly a game offensively. But remember how the sky was falling after Carolina for you extremely overreactive posters? Yeah, we have a bye week to get back on track. Trust the process. -
Two feet on the ground

Agreed. No one was calling for 3-2 at the bye. All the teams outside the Chiefs in the AFC look pretty week. I'm just going to be interested in what moves we make during the bye. -
Tentative Taylor on Final Drive

Gonna be a loooong 2 weeks with that loss. I just love that we're 3-2 and still in pretty good position right now. -
Bills vs. Bengals Postgame

And our best WR today dropped a nice pass over the middle on a critical 3rd down that would have put us in FG range. Instead, an all-too-familiar drop and no points.
