  1. I really don't think we're going to lose to the Colts. And I'm really not all that excited about that. Pretty numb to this team at this point. McDermott's been pretty confusing in the last month or so. So, last week after the KC victory, he would only commit to Taylor as the starter for the Patriots game, right? Now, suddenly, he says "Taylor is our starter, when healthy." What gives? Super confusing. As much as I'll root for Taylor under center when he gets back, this was like the perfect opportunity for McDermott to just find a way to start Peterman the rest of the way and either see if the kid has recovered and is a competent NFL QB or if he continues his dumpster fire play from the Chargers game. And McDermott wouldn't have to face much or any backlash from the public/media/team because he can at least use injury largely as the excuse. Either way, all parties KNOW what's coming in the offseason. It's a typical early December... "in the hunt" in technical terms but it's a distant hope. I'm rooting for Ws still because I can't root for a Loss... not like me rooting for a W has any influence over the game, anyway. And I'm already seeing the Bills win their next 2, going into a Christmas Eve game giving me a small bit of hope and then ruining my damn holiday week by losing both of their last 2 games. Those sons of bitches!
  2. Here is my very simple ranking of what I want our final record to be... ranked in order of #1 (what I want most) to #4 (what I want least... which will be 2 records and might be the most likely, unfortunately): #1 - 10-6 I think this is incredibly unlikely because Buffalo would have to win their remaining games and win a game in NE. Regardless of anyone arguing we should lose out for a draft pick, finishing the season with 4 wins and a win in NE and ending our playoff drought is the best possible scenario. We'll still have what looks like a climbing 1st round pick from KC to trade up to get one of the top 2 or 3 QBs. #2- 6-10 If we lose against Indy this Sunday, I hope we lose the rest of our games. Best possible draft pick and trade up for one of the top 2 QBs. #3 9-7 I'm not going to be overly upset with a 9-7 season. It'd be pretty impressive given this roster. I don't think we make the playoffs because of tiebreakers, but there's an outside chance. #4 8-8 or 7-9 Either of these are worst possible scenarios.
  3. Colts, yes. Miami, probably split. 8-8. I really don't want 8-8. That's the worst of all possible remaining records for us.
  4. The moment you show you have any integrity and don't say a negative word about him for a week... ya know... your stupid CoT bet thread you lost for the KC game... Once that week is done, we do it Yes, today there were a few nice wrinkles. Still not happy with him, yet.
  5. Holy crap... you bumped this thread in defense of Dennison?! in defense of the guy who called a fade route on 4th and goal?! Good for you. I don't know why the heck you'd still want to defend Dennison after today... though the Joe Webb addition was a breath of fresh air. Yeah... don't know why you're so in love with Dennison as a play caller. Kinda weird.
  6. Have you seen our roster and what we've been doing?
  7. It is. I agree. This is an easy way out of it, actually. Onto the Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson/etc era
  8. No. Absolutely not the worst season of the drought. This season just is what it is... making the best of what we have and overachieving in a rebuilding year. We still might make the playoffs, but probably won't. If we manage to get in, McDermott deserves coach of the year consideration.
  9. Peterman has sucked, too. But he's our starter the rest of the year. Please get better and win 3 or 4 more games or Absolutely suck like you have so far and don't win another game. I don't want 1 or 2 wins with Peterman, at which point he's going to screw up our draft pick and demonstrate moments of mediocrity. No more mediocrity in Buffalo. All-in on whoever we draft in round 1 next year!!!
  10. Yes. It is. This is McDermott's opportunity to start Peterman the rest of the season without any repercussion even if he sucks. This was an unfortunate way for Taylor's Buffalo career to end, but next year our starter will almost certainly either be Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson/(who else to draft in round 1???) or Peterman with one of those other guys waiting in the wings.
  11. !@#$ him!!! Seriously somehow we ended up penalized more and he wasn't suspended?!?! Just ridiculous
  12. Sure, why not... PS... !@#$ YOU GRONK!!!! !@#$ING DIRTY PLAY!!!!!
  13. This was pretty much the official end of the Tyrod Taylor era in Buffalo. With him ruled out McDermott is now afforded the rest of the season to start Peterman regardless of how he plays. That's good. Win/win. Peterman demonstrates he can be a Franchise QB and we win some games and either make the playoffs or just miss. or Peterman sucks as teams realize we have to start Peterman and have a full week to prepare for him and our draft pick keeps going up enabling us to trade up for Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson or whoever the top QB prospect we want is. This'll work. Shame on people who are inevitably insulting Taylor right now and praising his injury.
  14. Welp... goooooo Peterman!!!!
  15. Watching the Bills play the Patriots.... every single time I just want to say "!@#$ YOU BUFFALO!!!" when I watch us play.Oh well. Onto next week.
  16. How about that... D looks good. We're still going to lose, but if Taylor doesn't throw that stupid interception and/or Webb is able to hit a WIDE OPEN Cadet and we're winning. I should be a lot more drunk right now to prepare for the likely thrashing about to ensue in the 2nd half
  17. Hey hey heeeeeeyyyy!!!! I'm out till I have another question... finally on national TV!!!
  18. Thanks, missed the play somehow.
  19. Seriously can someone fill me in on what happened on 1st down?
  20. Did I miss 1st down? Wasn't that holding call on the Shady run on 1st down? If so did they screw us out of a down?
  21. This was incredibly simple, Thurm. Just leave it as the bold. You made a mistake. You were wrong. You were. You don't have to follow it up with a series of non sequiturs just to try to save face with people who haven't been following this conversation. That's okay, though. You've finally admitted you're wrong even if there's a ton of fluff that really has little to do with what we were actually talking about and I was arguing surrounding it. And even if where you admit you were wrong you twisted the truth. 3 weeks old. Not a week or two. That's a start thumbsup:
