  1. Nope. I'm not. It's clear as day we'll be drafting a QB in the 1st round next year. Taylor still could be here in 2018. That's still possible, but we're going to be drafting his replacement in the 2018 draft. Hope it's someone great.
  2. I've moved on. I still think Taylor gives us the best chance to win and still want to make the playoffs, but also realize it's a bit far-fetched. I'm still rooting for it, though. And if we start Peterman this weekend, God I hope he pulls a 180 from the Chargers game. I'd love to see him and Reilly start connecting like they did in preseason. I am not and have never been a fan of individual players. That's a Millennial thing that I have very little respect for. I'm loyal only to the Buffalo Bills. If they ever left Buffalo, I probably wouldn't care about the NFL much at all. In the end, though, I'm a bit numb going into the last quarter of the season. I just want a goddamn QB already and want to know who this regime targets. I know nothing about these college QBs but hope 1 or 2 are worth trading up into the top 5 for because that's what I'm pretty sure we're doing.
  3. It's a contradiction to say that no one believes that Taylor's a Franchise QB despite acknowledging people may have believed it in the past? Why would it be any kind of contradiction whatsoever? Saying "no one believes the world is flat, no one's believed that since the mid 1400s" isn't a contradiction, is it? My point was simply that anyone who ever had the notion that Taylor was our franchise QB or even could be our franchise QB no longer exist, so this thread seems to be pointing fingers at people who have moved on. Seems like a pretty pointless exercise.
  4. Sorry for the misunderstanding. There's a serious loss of translation when typing on a message board and I thought the comment from you was meant to be sarcastic and condescending. It wasn't, so my bad. I'm the guilty party here.
  5. First of all, what are those boxes at the top? Whether it's a browser thing or an inside joke I'm not getting, they just look like boxes. Second of all, you don't call posts of mine or really anyone who's ever said anything positive about Taylor stupid or several other negative things? Seriously? That's what you're going with? So now on top of proving you have no integrity because you can't adhere to a bet YOU make yourself and then LOSE, you also prove to be a liar? Third of all, why are you so obsessed with Taylor that you feel you have to talk about him so much?
  6. Boo hoo? Shady, you're being kind of a douche. I apparently bring out the worst in you. Maybe you should put me on your ignore list... that one you claim you have Jm on despite the fact that you'll constantly banter back and forth with him.
  7. Are you having reading comprehension problems again, Shady? "No one believes that. No one's believed that for weeks, probably." really don't understand that? There's no "which is that" in there because my statement doesn't contradict itself. Or are you just gleefully trying to dig up all the folks you idiots have labelled as being in a cult so that you can insult them for their opinions?
  8. Obviously an uncatchable pass isn't Dennison's fault. What a stupidly veiled premise here. You're holding onto the notion that you need to prove to anyone that believes Taylor is a Franchise QB or even that he'll be in a Bills uniform much longer that he's not and that he won't. No one believes that. No one's believed that for weeks probably. That doesn't change the fact that Dennison blows.
  9. Neither Taylor nor Peterman are talking to the media today. It's pretty sad McDermott is playing this cat and mouse game against a Colts team we should easily beat no matter who's under center. If it were Patriots week or even 'Phins week, maybe it's a little different, but for once in my life as a Bills fan I'll just say it before we play: We're going to win
  10. You haven't been a Bills fan for very long if you're saying this about Meatball. Pathetic
  11. Oh my bad!!! I just forgot that was the last one.
  12. Was that the Freddy Jackson spotlight game with Manning being rested?
  13. Deja vu to virtually every beginning of December for the last 17 years I'm not a Tanker, I'm just numb.
  14. You realize Reilly will probably be inactive, then we'll waive him for some reason planning to put him on the PS, then the Patriots will claim him and he's going to destroy us in week 16 the way Eric Lee did on Sunday
  15. Always good to have December games at home against dome teams and warm weather teams. Like our next to opponents flirtAlways good to have December games at home against dome teams and warm weather teams. Like our next to opponents
  16. How I feel, too. Hell I'm fairly confident we can get to 9-7. What pisses me off is that 9-7 almost certainly won't be good enough for the Wildcard.
  17. I actually agree with this, yet we lost 23-3. This might have been one of our more competitive games against them and we still lost by 20. That first drive was just a killer. We looked really good and then that stupid interception. I think Taylor's injury was more of an influence on that interception than the idea of "taking a chance." It looked like he just didn't want to move despite Wood obviously being pushed right back into him, which was the ultimate cause of that interception. Then Joe Webb missed a WIDE OPEN Cadet running into the end zone. If those 2 plays turn out differently, we go into the half with a lead and maybe it's a different game. I'd love it if the Bills make up for it by coming out frothing at the mouth motivated and angry when the roll into NE, but I doubt it makes much difference.
  18. If Taylor is playing Sunday against the Colts, he'll almost certainly be playing the following week against the 'Phins, too. The Colts really suck. I expect us to win this game pretty easily. It's the only time all year I've felt that way. Probably also the only time I'd feel okay saying it, too, 'cause if I were superstitious and somehow jinx us into a loss, maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing, either
  19. I think we need 10 wins, but I could see the Titans losing 3 of their next 4, which would get us in at 9-7. The NFC is a lot tougher than the AFC, and even that 49ers game is no gimme for them now that Jimmy G is starting.
  20. Not a chance in hell Taylor is 100%. If the injury is what it they've reported it as, I think it needs at least 5-7 days of rest to heal, which would mean he'd need to sit out from practice. So, to me, if Taylor is practicing tomorrow and/or Thursday, Taylor is pretty much just telling the medical staff there's no way in hell he's sitting on the bench. And this is why McDermott's comments that "Taylor is our starter when healthy" is a little confusing, to me. This was a window for him to start Peterman against the Colts for sure with absolutely no public/media/team backlash. Who knows, we'll see.
  21. I don't really care right now. I'm rooting for 10-6 and playoffs, but that's pretty unrealistic watching this team. 9-7 is realistic, I think, but a bit of a longshot given that we'd need either the Ravens or Titans to lose 3 of their next 4. So that leaves me with what I want... playoffs. Or what I think will realistically happen but will probably be better in terms of draft position. I guess I don't care either way. I don't think Peterman is good, but I don't think he's as bad as he was against the Chargers. If Taylor's healthy, he gives us the best chance to win, but he doesn't look healthy. And as much as some might just absolutely deny this, I think once Taylor got injured on that 2nd or 3rd offensive play the injury really affected his game. That interception he threw was on a play he had plenty of room to move, but didn't. I think he was hurting and trying to limit his movement. So... I guess.... Peterman ...? Taylor ...? whoever. Just win the next 4 somehow
  22. Pretty pathetic if we need to play games with the Colts. I don't know. I think he suffered enough backlash last time he wouldn't do it like that again. But as you say, nothing would surprise me.
  23. This theory is what I would've thought McDermott would do, but he said Taylor's the starting QB when healthy. That's a bit of a shift from his previously more tenuous position on who the starter is. I just don't get it. We'll see what happens. But with what McDermott said and Taylor's understanding that these are his last 4 games almost certainly in Buffalo, I think he's starting.
