  1. How often are we talking about other QBs? I'm a Bills fan so I talk about Bills players more often than players on other teams. We can talk about other QBs rushing and compare, if you want. http://pickingpros.com/nfl/quarterback-rushing-leaders.php Regardless, let's take away those 16 rushing yards in the 1st half, then. Taylor still threw for 161 yards and a TD in the 1st half. The game plan was to pass and the game plan had Taylor on pace for 300+ passing yards... all through the air, none on the ground But again, then we went into the half up by 3 scores.
  2. We literally just had this game plan against Miami. Taylor put up 177 yards (passing + rushing - sacks), 2 TDs and no turnovers in the 1st half alone. And Dennison called over 20 passing plays in the 1st half. Taylor was on track for 35+ passing attempts. But then we went into the 2nd half up by 3 scores... it's a coaching thing, brah.
  3. Bwahahahaha!!! What a terrible analogy and what terrible reading comprehension you have!!! You think that was me saying Tyrod is better than Rivers?!?! Hahahaha!!! Oh man!!! Thanks for the belly laugh
  4. The difference between keeping him or cutting him will be $9.5 million to our Cap in 2018 only if we cut him in the first 4 days of the new league year. That just really isn't much money considering you're going to have to find 2 more QBs to get on the roster if he's gone.
  5. If anyone were to ever read your posts on their own, they would think this team hadn't won a game with Taylor at the helm
  6. Do all the mediocre and bad games count for other QBs, too? Or do they only count for Tyrod? From 2015-2017, Tyrod has 11 games with a Passer Rating below 80. Below 80 would probably be mediocre to bad, right? From 2015-2017, Phillip Rivers has 11 games with a Passer Rating below 80. Don't like Passer Rating? From 2015-2017, Tyrod has 11 games with a Total Qbr below 50, which ESPN claims as the benchmark for exactly "average" QB play. From 2015-2017, Phillip Rivers has 20 games with a Passer Rating below 50. And before you say it's just a randomly bad 3 year stretch for P Riv, from 2010-2012 he had 14 games with a Passer Rating below 80. Cue the "how DARE you compare Tyrod to Rivers" posts in 3 2 1....
  7. This yarn is still unraveling, huh? Can someone please tell me how Dennison has a connection to Cousins and more than just some "he's a protege of Kubiak who was a protege of Shanahan?" If that's all it is, I can tell you something interesting about myself: I'm best friends with Kevin Bacon through my coworker who just visited California and saw him walking on the opposite side of the street
  8. If any of this is true, what is your motivation to share all of this? Is it really worth getting at least a low level IT person fired last week, so close to Christmas? That's someone's livelihood. This is just sports.
  9. Okay, I am about to go against my better judgement and bite: Why would McDermott and Beane, who saw very quick and prolific success of rookie Cam Newton, prefer a veteran QB who's largely set in his ways rather than a ball of much more talented clay in the 1st round of the draft? And if you were to say they would prefer Darnold or Allen or Rosen or Mayfield or... then why on earth would they want a veteran QB like Smith or Cousins and how the hell would they expect that to work? Another question, you say Kirk Cousins has ties to Dennison... how so? Much mahalos
  10. Less than a week ago... agree. do not see him in a bills uni next season. don't see any type of trade for luck either. could either be cousins brought in and they pass on drafting a QB (which would piss many fans off) and keep peterman as a back up? or they do draft one and he sits behind the starter, who ever that may end up being? anyone's guess at this point but I really see no future for taylor on this roster.
  11. Good god man... if you're going to choose not to ignore me and are going to respond to things I say can you at least actually respond to what I'm saying? Read the thread of that discussion, please. Taylor might not be in Buffalo next year. It's absolutely possible and I even acknowledge it in the post you quote. It's foolish to assume that it's a given that he's gone. Yeah, that opinion is one that you're very much entitled to, but yes, I'm calling it a foolish one given the fact that there are still 2 games (hopefully more... ?) left to play and an entire offseason full of evaluating talent of NFL players who played for Buffalo and for other teams and also College players who we're looking at drafting and, well, a lot can change. So, in exactly the same way that last year as the year ended and everyone said that once we benched Taylor at the end of the season, I said it was foolish for all of those saying it was obvious he would no longer play in a Bills uniform, I'm calling it a foolish statement to say that it's obvious that Taylor will no longer be in a Bills uniform after this year. It's an emotionally premature prediction. It might happen, and if it does, you'll be one of those guys coming to me saying how you were obviously right because "see! it happened." I remember you telling me how Taylor wouldn't be with Buffalo next year. At least you're changing your tune a little. Don't worry, though, brah. If Taylor's in a Bills uniform next year I won't seek you out calling you wrong but no guarantees I wouldn't do it if you kept trolling me
  12. I can't believe this thread and some of the posters who've succumbed to it. Even if DD actually had a "source" inside, he acknowledged himself that people are trying to find out who's leaking all this info. Soooo... when you know you have good info getting leaked, don't you think you might put some stuff out there that's not true as misdirection? Plus, how much time between now and anything he's saying that's true might unfold? Even if he has a source and the Bills are planning on doing everything they can to get Cousins (God I hope not) and even if that source is accurate, so much can change as we get into things like the draft process with the Senior Bowl, Combine, and interviews with these college prospects. DD, you asked Shady why he follows you if he doesn't believe you. It's because, and I'll give you this, you spin a good story, and everyone likes a good story, whether it's fiction or nonfiction
  13. Well, part of it was probably the defense in the first half was probably largely super frustrated and deflated. I did the math awhile ago, but in the entire first half on all 8 or 9 of Peterman's possessions the Chargers' average starting field position was mid field. That's just insane in that number of possessions! And that was without Peterman's pick-6! 24 points off turnovers. Would have been 27 if not for a missed field goal. Rivers and the Chargers went up by 30 at the half primarily because the other team kept giving them the ball in great field position. Plus the 7 point gift. And Football is an emotional sport, so I think saying the defense was deflated is reasonable. The same thing happened the week before against the Saints where the D held the Saints to 17 points in the 1st half and then just laid down in the 2nd half giving up 30, probably largely because of how terrible the offense was.
  14. Gonna disagree. I'm not saying he will be back. But it's foolish to say he's gone given the fact that this isn't just a matter of picking up an option or not. It involves either: -cutting him, taking a Cap hit and then finding a vet QB you're going to have to pay probably $2-$5 million in order to come in as a vet QB... at that point when you factor in the Cap hit we took for cutting Taylor along with the money to pay the vet QB, there's really not a ton of financial incentive to do it. OR -trading him. But from what I understand about his contract I think we would have to trade him before the 4th day of the new league year, otherwise we have to give him a $6 million bonus, I believe. We won't get that bonus back, even if we trade him on draft day in part of a package deal to trade up. So I think this assumption Taylor is just automatically gone is foolish. And people want to point out the relationship and how both sides are going to want a clean split. I'm not in the locker room with these guys so I have no clue how the relationship actually is. But McBeane don't really have to take Taylor's feelings into consideration because it's very simple: he's under contract. And one thing I think about anyone would give Taylor is that he's a professional and would come back and be the ultimate team player, even if he's not overly happy, which might be an overblown assumption, anyway.
  15. Well this is just sheer and utter crap. You did watch him in 2015 and 2016 when he had Sammy on the field, healthy, right?
  16. 5% they bring him back next year? Ridiculously low. Add a 5 to that 5 and that sounds more like reality.
  17. Chargers. Biggest mistake of McDermott's season to start Peterman against the Chargers. There really isn't any way you can say that decision was anything other than gross negligence given the state of our OL and the pass rush they were about to face. And boy, did it ever blow up in our faces.
  18. McDermott says a lot of stuff he doesn't mean. on a Sunday he says "Tyrod's our starter." On a Monday he says "Tyrod's our starter." On a Wednesday he says "Tyrod is not our starter." I like Mcdermott as a Head Coach, but hard to believe anything he says.
  19. Ummm... what? The twitter clip I posted for you is one of Tyrod's targets to Jones. The one Jones dropped is the other. You said there are 2, right? Yes, it is... and it's a different play from the All-22 clip I posted that Shady doesn't even sound like he looked at, despite the fact that it's the one he's talking about But again... it's Shady... I'm starting to just play a goofy sitcom-type little theme in my head every time I read a post from him, at this point.
  20. Oh look, you and xRushx must be buddies. Tell me more about what I think, please
  21. No, I'm not entirely. It is an overthrow, but it's also a ball Jones probably could have gotten to and caught with a little more effort. But you're missing the context of the discussion. I'm responding to Shady, who already seems to forget why the whole conversation started since he's responding to your comment here already forgetting about why we started talking about the pass in the first place. He's using that throw in the context of his "uncatchable passes" argument. And he directly reference a pass that I think was catchable, despite being an overthrow. But it's Shady, so it's not unexpected.
  22. It's close. And I'm not saying it was an easy catch. But better tracking and/or laying out a little I think Jones could have caught that. Of course that would have just involved getting the ball to touch his hands... the next problem would be those stone hands of his... which we all know how to fix...
  23. I don't know what you're trying to prove... That Taylor doesn't spread the ball around? He completed a pass to 8 different players in the game on Sunday. As for what the play by play recap says... use your eyes... could Zay Jones have gotten to and caught that ball?
