Start Peterman at Miami?
transplantbillsfan replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What the hell is going on??? Are you trying to have 2 different discussions here??? Soooo... you agree Taylor should start next week??? Why all the other white noise??? -
Will you just shut up you whiny baby. It's not over. Bills beat MiamiANDThe Chargers need to lose AND the Ravens OR Titans need to lose OR The Ravens need to lose. That's pretty much it. Root for the Jags to win today. If they lose today they might not be playing for anyone next week against the Titans.

No. Stop being dumb. Taylor's one of the reasons we were in this game so late. It'd be nice if the refs didn't screw us out of a TD. -

Pipe dream, but McBeane should hire someone just to sit by the phone ready to make that call. -

What the truck are you talking about? I've always known you have a serious communication problem; what's serious from you and what's not is maybe the least obvious from any poster on this message board... and I've seen a number of posters with that same confusion. But now you're truly making me question your reading comprehension. We are moving on from Taylor after we draft/acquire a QB this offseason. It might not be that Taylor's gone this offseason. He might still start as a bridge to the new guy next year. But his replacement will be here in 2018 and he will be gone in 2019, barring making the playoffs and winning a couple games. That was/is/shall be my position. Understand now? Nothing zany about an opinion that a guy who's under a 1 year contract after this year and has no clear upgrades to replace him on the roster won't be back for a one year Bridge. It's only zany in that weird reality some of you have created where everything wrong with the Buffalo Bills is Tyrod Taylor's fault. -

Hindsight is 20/20... but Taylor... obviously. -

Oh dear lord... I can't wait til the Tyrod Taylor era is over at latest by the end of 2018 mainly so I can stop reading posters like you pin all the Bills woes and none of their successes on him -

Saints game was TERRIBLE! It was the worst game I'd say of Taylor's career. Still not nearly as bad as Peterman's half against the Chargers. Directed at me? Why? I don't play QB for the Bills. Are you going to send me a nice Christmas gift basket if he plays well? Yeah... we all know about your Mahomes love. Other than Watson, your list is a very nice Christmas joke, though -

Yeah, but he did crap the bed. He gave us the WORST performance by a QB since the AFL/NFL merger. And no, it wasn't all his fault. A lot of blame goes on the OL, which is precisely the point I'm making. -

Mighta been different... we don't know because what actually happened was that Not Ready Nate was thrust in against one of the best pass rushes in the NFL behind an OL that became exposed as one of the worst pass blocking OLs in the NFL when they were left without a Houdini escape artist to make up for their mistakes. As for the result being different... can't say because I can't see into alternate realities, but I'm 100% sure Taylor wouldn't have thrown 5 picks in the first half and we wouldn't have been down 30 going into the half. -

Well gee, isn't this a fun game? Besides the two games (which were actually basically 2 separate halves) Taylor has been most crucified for (the two sub 100 yard games), Taylor has a Passer Rating of 95.6 and has actually averaged 200 yards passing per game and the team has gone 7-3. See how ridiculous that little exercise is? Easily, huh? -

Yeah, at the position long term, not necessarily for a 2018 season where they still have a vet QB who could serve as a bridge to our new Franchise QB under contract! -

Why the hell is Taylor still the starter, then? -
Is it better to lose to the Pats and beat Miami ?
transplantbillsfan replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Beat them both. This team should beat the Dolphins in week 17. -

And pulling that plug on Peterman so quickly and going back to "Tyrod is our starter" rather than the "Tyrod is our starter this week" also has meaning. I don't know what you think I'm arguing. McBeane is looking to replace Taylor, but Peterman isn't that replacement, which is why I think there's a good chance Taylor is still a Bill next year. -

Weird how much people aren't considering that Tyrod is under contract through the end of next year at what is a relatively cheap price for a starting NFL QB, making it the perfect Bridge contract for whatever rookie is sitting there ready to take the helm in 2019 if not sometime during 2018. It's possible we trade him, but I think much less possible we just cut him. As for whatever arguments people might make about the relationship being irreparable and everyone needing to go their separate ways... once again, he's under contract. And Tyrod has been the consummate professional. -

Yeah? And how did that game, I mean half, go? -
I tried but I'm a homer
transplantbillsfan replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tried, but I just can't believe we beat the Patriots. This is the only game all year I'd pencil in a L. We've just been owned by them for so long. Please let me be wrong
