  1. Why are you such a Sesquipedalian as of late?
  2. The Colts were the team mid-season I was really hoping would end up with the #2 pick. But yes, I could realistically see us trading up with them at #3... or Andrew Luck... ?
  3. I think it's gonna take more than that. At least another later round pick.
  4. 'Tis the season for smokescreens. ... for Darnold or Mayfield...?
  5. Ladies and gentlemen... hypocrisy at its finest... stay on topic in my own thread even though I'm free to wander any damn way I please in any other thread. "Well, actually, no. This is a general thread and not Transplunts Alternate Truth - Hoyer or Tyrod argument. So I rescind my OOPS" The answer is obvious. 2015 was when Taylor had the best weapons... it's a yuuuuge reason that was his best year. And I still think this is what's most likely to happen. Man... some people here will just EXPLODE if that happens! Most QBs depend on weapons. Is your definition of a Franchise QB an Elite QB? What a weird statement.
  6. Break Fitzgerald? Ummm... why? I could see an argument that Taylor just wouldn't throw him the ball, but you seem to imply Taylor has a habit of putting his WRs in positions to get injured. Is that what you're saying? If so... it just seems a strange take that flies in the face of reality. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time that you've done that. Hey look at my absolutely insane lack of any objectivity everyone!
  7. Fair enough, but talent only gets you so far. Drive. Determination. Competitive fire go a long way. Rosen might be the most talented, but a lot of the "reports" question how much he loves the game. That, to me, is a huge red flag. No one questions Mayfield's love for the game.
  8. Interesting. Rudolph isn't even in the top 50. I still think Mayfield will be the best of this bunch, but other than Allen, I'll take any of the other QBs on that list
  9. So... if this is accurate, the OL must have absolutely hated Peterman because anyone watching that game could see the sieve that was our OL in the 1st half of the Chargers game
  10. Weird... Taylor was 12th in the NFL on 3rd down passing plays out of 37 tracked QBs at 42.7%. Oh... and before you try vomiting any narrative about how that doesn't factor in when he pulls the ball down and runs... he was even better when you factor that in at nearly 46%. But let's all keep saying things that twist reality.
  11. "He's bad folks, real bad." "He's a dunce at QB. How can this not be seen?" These are the types of asinine posts that will buoy this ridiculous antagonism on this message board as long as Taylor remains a Bills. Some of us are sane and realize Taylor is okay to good, but not great. And some of us make absolutely stupid statements like "He's a dunce at QB."
  12. 6' 3/8" is really a problem? The guy just seems to have "IT..." can't teach that. And before anyone brings up Johnny Football... Baker's off field problems seem to be of an immature overly visceral and competitive nature. Very different from Johnny Drinks a Lot
  13. I've been feeling like he would shoot up draft boards and go #1 for the last few days. I hope he doesn't... I want him.
  14. I'm pretty much all for anyone but Allen. But I think Mayfield is the most sure thing at QB in this draft if he's in Buffalo.
  15. I know it's not popular, but I think Mayfield is the most sure thing at QB in this draft if he's in with the right team and coach culturally... and I think that's Sean McDermott and the Buffalo Bills
  16. He was measured at the senior bowl. 6'1" not 5'11"
  17. Wow! You are just so angry! Maybe you should just start ignoring me for your own sake Why do I like Mayfield the most? To answer your question he's a winner and he's gritty and has this competitive fire that reminds me of Jim Kelly. He seems very immature but I think if he got in with the right coach who could harness his competitiveness. He also seems to have great pocket presence, can escape pressure, and is very accurate. He's completely willing to throw the ball just about anywhere on the field and has NFL arm strength even if it's not Elite. I like darnold a lot, but his turnover problem is what makes me like him second to Mayfield. Rosen scares me a bit because of his injury history and his reported lack of love for the game. Do I watch college football? No. As I watched some? Yes. Do I pay attention to what happens via News, highlights, and scores on things like ESPN? Yes. I asked an honest question and gave a few thoughts, but of course you have to be confrontational.
  18. Honest question... why isn't Mayfield the best of this bunch? Is it height? He's still 6'1"... his behavior? McDermott seems like a coach who can channel that visceral competitive moxy... so what is it? Mayfield please. He excites me the most. Then Darnold.
  19. Oh boy, I bet this thread is going well
  20. Why? Mayfield please ...or Darnold
  21. Yuck yuck yuck yuck!!! Case Keenum and we don't draft a 1st round QB?! These guys are nuts. I highly highly highly doubt that happens. How do these "analysts" make a living?
