  1. I'll be very curious if Taylor is still under center this year how many of you actually stick to this proclamation. It's amazing how much hatred some of you have for Taylor. Yes, it's hatred. Not hatred for the man. Hatred for the QB. If you hate Taylor the QB enough to not watch your favorite team on the 16 guaranteed days you get to watch him in a 365 day calendar year then, well, I think that's strange, especially coming off a season where we made the playoffs and in an offseason where I expect we will massively upgrade many other positions, especially if Taylor is retained and we don't trade up for a QB. I expect this team to be better next year, no matter who's under center. I'm excited to find out who's under center. I know this, for me, as a fan the football season is too short to not watch the games. I really don't care who's under center. If Taylor's under center, I expect it'll be in his last year as a Bill with a rookie waiting in the wings, but if he starts, I'll watch and be excited in September. If the Bills acquire Cousins somehow, which I just don't think is going to happen, but if they do, I'll watch and be excited in September. If the Bills go out and get Trevor Siemian, Josh McCown, Brian Hoyer, Tom Savage or some other crap QB I don't want, I'll still watch the Bills and be excited in September. I would never say another fan isn't a fan, but I just don't get fans who say stuff like this... or, more specifically, fans who actually follow through with stuff like this, since I think there's a lot of hot air people like to throw out here.
  2. No, it won't. It will be a normal opening to the season. New era field will be sold out to begin the season. Fans will be excited and cheering. The difference, I'm sure, will be that fans will also be much more quick to turn on Taylor. But if McDermott decides to keep Taylor and start him, I'm sure he'd be doing it because he believes the change from Dennison to Dabol could make a huge difference. It's a process
  3. Oh man.... I can think of a few posters who have been arrogantly proclaiming the Bills would never pay him this bonus C'mon guys!!! Still a chance to put yourself on record with the 21.5% of us who've been saying Tyrod would still be a Bill for one more year!
  4. Who cares and how is this Buffalo related? He blows.
  5. You are the most obsessed person when it comes to Tyrod Taylor, by far. You just have to bring him up in conversation when he's not even relevant. Just amazing.
  6. Young and immature. He didn't sexually assault a girl. Public intoxication... that was the key... or are you afraid he's Johnny Football? I agree with the OP... I think he's going to be the best. No, they aren't... See Nate Peterman Why? Rodgers was 24
  7. Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, or Josh Rosen. Any of those 3. Generally in that order... though Darnold and Mayfield are about equal for me. Why? Darnold I think will be really good down the road, but will likely take a lot of rookie lumps unless Dabol specifically protects him. Mayfield just reminds me of Jim Kelly in terms of attitude and competitiveness. I just feel like he'll be the best QB of the bunch. Rosen I think could come in and start and be really successful immediately, ala Matt Ryan in 2008.
  8. Thanks for that link... I think that lines up more with reality. Their methodology was an absolute joke
  9. This is a complete joke. Read how they generate their rankings. Of course Taylor made our OL look significantly better based on this criteria.
  10. Literally the most fun I've had watching a game in years.
  11. Thinking a lot more about it... I'd love this... I'm just still not thinking it will be what happens. This is sheer and utter crap. It's going to cost more than this, unless Gettleman is doing McDermott a favor. If that's all it costs, do it in a heartbeat. You're still going to somehow have 2 2nd round picks this year. But that's not all it's going to cost.
  12. Ummm... is anyone else seeing the massive problem with this technique to measure the effectiveness of an OL when it comes to protecting a QB like Tyrod Taylor? " Next Gen Stats defines a "pressure" as a pass-rushing play in which a defender gets within 2 yards of the opposing quarterback at the time of the throw or sack. "
  13. There, I fixed it for you. At least now it lines up with reality
  14. Nicely done. I'd be happy. But I think we're going to have to give up a little more.
  15. Don't know... but if we don't get something McBeane is happy with in return, Tyrod Taylor is still very possibly a Bill for another year and the OP is absolutely miserable with another calendar year of Tyrod discussion
  16. Yeah must've been a Freudian slip
  17. We'll move on from talking about Tyrod when Tyrod is no longer a Buffalo Bill. When he's gone, we can stop talking about him the same way we did EJ and Fitz. But I'm sorry... He still is. You should definitely keep crying about it, though
  18. Get me Darnold then Mayfield then Jackson then Rudolph in the 1st. I will be happy with any of them, at this moment.
  19. Obviously. I can't believe this is a surprise to anyone in any way. It's been written on the wall for months now. Really? On this message board? Who?
  20. Actually I don't think that's necessarily a bad sign. Sounds like he's still making his legacy to leave. Beat me to it
  21. Yes! As much as people think I love Tyrod, I'll be 100 times more heartbroken if we trade Shady!
