  1. Pretty awesome. But I have a question: Was that a Daboll call before the play or was that an Allen audible at the line? I thought I remember Allen audibling to that play, which makes it all that much more impressive.
  2. So even if there are errors 5 times the normal rate, why would ANYONE logically assume all those errors would bounce one way? Seems there would be just as many errors in Trump's favor as in Biden's... or it would be comparable. And the gap between the two is in the hundreds of thousands at this point in terms of what Trump needs to make up. And yes, I see that you acknowledge this at the end. It just seems such a flimsy and silly argument on Trump's part at this point.
  3. @leh-nerd skin-erd conflating the simple act of a Presidential transition--including all the money and briefings that come with it that allow a President to hit the ground running without security risks involved with a delay in that allowance--with tangential acts and investigations unrelated to literally passing the Presidency over in January. Classic.
  4. It really just is amazing. I honestly think the most critical aspect of Josh's success has been continuity in OC with Daboll, which is the antithesis of what's happened with his buddy Darnold. I just really hope Dorsey is being groomed as Daboll's replacement next year to maintain that continuity.
  5. You sure he's not losing it? Sure seems like a meltdown to me. Regardless, if you don’t think he's losing it why defend him so much? Our relationship is very tit for tat and he is ALWAYS the tit. Hell, I avoided PPP for a long time despite his trolling. Pretty sad, really. Oh shut up already with this. You guys are ridiculous a with this argument. Does Trump have some legitimate reasons to look into the Biden campaign at this point? If he does, go ahead. However, whatever investigatory levers that may have been pulled during the Obama transition, a transition actually occurred. Hell Obama had Trump in the White House just a couple days after the election. He also gave Trump access to everything necessary in a transition. And that election was closer than this election is. So with all due respect, who the &$#@ do you think you are with your hypocrisy. Here's the essence of what you just said: "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck." The frightening thing about what you just said establishes even further why you and I will clearly never agree politically. Donald Trump looks like a narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, lying, cheating, selfish, philandering, low IQ bum who was born into an empire and quacks like a narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, lying, cheating, selfish, philandering, low IQ bum who was born into an empire. That's what he must be. And that all comes into play with why he was a terrible President and why people didn't vote for him for a 2nd term... they just couldn't look past all those things a 2nd time for an "outsider," which is what they did the 1st time. And I know your rebuttal already, except Joe Biden is a man who's got good intentions who’s made mistakes over the course of a lifetime public career that he's learned from. Because you can learn from mistakes and become better. Donald Trump hasn't done that. He told White Nationalists to "stand by" when asked to condemn White Nationalism. "Let's see what happens." Donald Trump lost an election as a 1 term President to a challenger in a more lopsided manner than anyone since Hoover lost to FDR, which seems appropriate... that's what happened.
  6. Crying? I think it's pathetic the way DR is losing it. Those posts were so unlike even him that it's almost funny. I guess I'm a little disappointed he lacks integrity, but I'm not at all surprised. Crying? Maybe you're right. I'm sad because I legitimately thought this election might force DR and others to consider that maybe they need to pull themselves out of these insane rabbit holes. Instead they're making other rabbit holes to borough into. You can still legally pursue things like a recount and other court battles and maintain the precedent of allowing for a smooth and peaceful transition. It's a national security issue to hold up a transition. Just ask the 911 Commission re- George W Bush. "We'll see." I'm sorry, but this is what so many over there are saying, and it's obvious most of it is crap. When it ends up there's no overturning of the results, DR and all the others (I hope not you, but I admit I question that) will cry foul by the courts or election officials overseeing the recounts or someone. They will still claim Trump won the election. It's amazing to me that ANYONE could have thought Trump couldn't lose... but that's exactly what DR thought and it's why he lambasted me with his sad and pathetic vitriole.
  7. They are actually calling this an attempted coup by Biden. Just friggin nutty.
  8. He can do whatever he wants. Al Gore vs. Bush was a 538 vote separation to decide an election. This is already well over 50,000 votes and counting. He's free to pursue the legal remedy of a recount, but recounts almost never overturn an election and the change in vote tallies is in the hundreds, not the tens of thousands when they do. The claims of fraud and voter irregularities are something Trump and his supporters have been crying about since the election while completely disregarding things like the over 100,000 undelivered ballots by USPS, run by a political partisan and Trump Crony who had been working to undermine and slow down USPS in the months leading up to an election that was going to be largely mail in. He can do whatever he wants legally to try to win the election, but when it comes to January 20th and none of those hail mary legal remedies worked, he will have to leave the White House as possibly the worst loser in American history. Certainly the worst loser of a Presidential election. One would expect nothing less of Donald Trump, though.
  9. Okay so I gotta say... if we still had some posters here who left or were kicked out recently, this place would be up in arms. I'm where many of those posters are and last night one of those posters (the one with whom I have an avatar bet I'm seeing the end of) just started losing it with me because I'm pretty much the lone liberal posting over there: Seriously, go &#%$ yourself. I spent too long defending you. You're not an ally, you're not a friend, you're nothing but a very sad, very programmed person. Away with you. I'll be clear. I'm not your friend. I'm your enemy. &#%$ off now. Next time I tell you to &#%$ off, do it or be bannished. Spending the last three years proving to anyone unfortunate enough to read your stuff that you're not only a very dumb person, but completely unable to think for himself wasn't enough for you I guess. Now you're back to prove that not only are you dumb, you're an #######. All that was from the same poster now banned from here. My point: Trump supporters won't EVER concede that Trump lost this election, much like Trump himself.
  10. I think in another year it'd be possible. I still think Russell Wilson will be the MVP. Just a guess, not a prediction.
  11. How about that flawless 1st half for Allen? I'm loving the acknowledgement of Daboll that we ride or die with Allen... especially against the worst pass D in the NFL. Slower start to the 2nd half, but in the end our QB gets over 400 yards in the air and ends up with 4 TDs and 0 turnovers. Foot off the gas once the game was essentially out of reach. Defense really showed up today. This is what we could be...
  12. How about the hundreds of thousands of ballots held up in USPS? Do you have any issue with that?
  13. They won't even talk to me or acknowledge the hundreds of thousands of undelivered ballots they've discovered held up by USPS. It really is for a frightening number of them.
  14. They won't concede. They believe there's widespread voter fraud and it's going to swing the election in Trump's favor after it's revealed and litigated. No, seriously. That's what they think.
  15. I'll just post the conclusion since it's a subscription site https://theathletic.com/2179169/2020/11/05/josh-allen-midseason-report/ Josh Allen through 8 games: What’s gone right and what’s gone wrong Big picture, and what’s to come Allen should have an opportunity to get back on track this weekend. As difficult as it will be to keep pace with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ offense, Seattle’s passing defense has been among the NFL’s most generous to opposing quarterbacks. The Seahawks currently rank 29th in passing defense, according to Football Outsiders’ DVOA. If there’s a game for Allen to return to the player he was in September, this is it. The schedule won’t stay easy the rest of the way. The Bills have five games left on the schedule against teams that rank in the top 12 in passing defense, according to Football Outsiders’ DVOA. And that doesn’t include games against the Patriots and 49ers. Allen has shown he can handle a tough passing defense. He did so against the Rams in Week 3, carving up zone and man concepts early in the game. But he needs to show that he can find an answer to the way teams have played against this offense in recent weeks. Teams are showing Allen more zone coverage with Cover 2 and Cover 4 looks. They are disguising the coverage pre-snap and making post-snap adjustments. Allen hasn’t been able to push the Bills’ offense through that. It’s unclear how much the left shoulder injury he suffered against the Raiders has impacted him, but Allen has appeared on the injury report every day as a full participant in practice and has worn a brace during games. Overall, Allen is a better quarterback than he was in 2019. The lows he’s had in 2020 haven’t been as low as those in 2019. He still needs to prove he can stack up against top defenses and other top quarterbacks the way he did against the Rams. He’ll have plenty of chances to be that quarterback for the Bills over the second half of the season, with games against the Seahawks, Cardinals and Steelers to come. At the end of the season, the clock starts on when the Bills can extend Allen’s contract. At this point, it’s a safe bet that the team will pick up Allen’s fifth-year option. The next eight games and the postseason should provide more clues as to what Allen’s value will be on his next contract.
  16. Choice of avatars for the next 4 years based on the winner.
  17. Part of the reason I'm also over there is to make sure he lives up to the 18 month old bet. It's entertaining because I've been actually engaging over there in the equivalent of this thread and he's avoided engaging with me... which is very unlike him. What's also funny is I gave him an opportunity to pull out of our bet a few months ago because once the Pandemic hit, Biden's election became pretty close to inevitable. He thought I was the one trying to weasel out of the bet. So yeah. I'm gonna make sure he lives up to the bet.
  18. Amazingly Biden still has a really good chance to win not just Pennsylvania, but also Georgia. That would end up getting Biden not just the Popular vote, which looks like it might go upwards of 4, but also 306 electoral votes. That would give Biden a bigger electoral victory than Trump had in 2016. I'm really, REALLY hoping that happens. Because all Trump will be talking about is how his electoral victory was bigger than Biden's.
  19. This thread is a lot more sane than another one I was just in on another site
  20. 18 passes was enough. We won. We're 6-2. The objective is to win a football game, not your fantasy league. Players aren't frustrated they won.
  21. Let's not discount how incredibly windy it was yesterday. Allen may have been a little more hesitant to throw the ball to covered WRs because of the wind. He had Davis in the EZ for what should have been a TD and the INT seemed pretty clearly like a miscommunication based off Diggs patting his own chest on the sideline appearing to say "that was on me." Allen is the QB we need in the late Fall and early Winter in Buffalo. I'm confident about that. He just needs to keep progressing against zone coverages, which I think he's doing. We beat the Patriots and our Offense generally moved the ball pretty easily against a Bill Bellichick coached Defense. I'm still stoked.
