  1. Yes it was a real question. Soooo... the answer is no? No officers dead there. And I'm not trivializing them being shot, but my question was if any died.
  2. Being "objective" relating to numbers correlating to the situation I provided you relating to Trump's last few months in office combined with his actual Increasing support among Republicans isn't objectivity, it's naivete, if not wilful ignorance.
  3. Those Presidents were just better in their first terms than Trump. This was an interesting exercise, though. You doubted my statement and asked for proof. I provided requested proof. Then in an effort to validate your own beliefs you sought evidence you could use to counter that proof. There's a big difference between those other Presidents and Trump. It's Covid and our current Economy. We lost 4,000+ Americans today and have lost 375,000 since the Pandemic began less than a year ago and all Trump cares about are his false claims of a rigged election. 400,000 Americans will have died because of Covid under Trump's watch by the time he's finally out of office. Is there even a REMOTELY similar situation among the 3 cited 1st term Presidents? I appreciate the initial acknowledgement even if you couldn't quite sustain it, but it might be best to accept how terrible he is.
  4. Police Officer just died due to injuries sustained during this riot. Did any police officers die during the BLM protests?
  5. I told many of them to just ignore me. Evidently they came up with an ignore feature so not only could they not see my initial posts, but they couldn't see my posts when people responded to me. Their ignorance is their bliss. There are 2 sides to every story and the truth will obviously be somewhere in the middle, but you gave me a nice big belly laugh by saying I'm "swinging over there." Frankly, being banned from there doesn't bother me a great deal. I wish posters like @Foxx and @Buffalo_Gal didn't abandon this discussion board altogether because I really like both of them. And I really like talking Bills football with both of them. I think @billsfan1959 went over there, too... I feel the same way about him. And yes, there are a couple others... but a couple of them have chosen to straddle that board and this one, like you. Glad you stayed. Most of the other people over there simply aren't worth my time. But yes, part of my motivation going over there was getting Greg to live up to his bet. The fact that he didn't legitimately surprised me. It also put him in the category of not being worth the time.
  6. Ya know. Over 4,000 people died today. There are almost 375,000 Americans dead. 400,000 Americans are likely going to pass away from this disease in less than a year. And SO MUCH of this is on Donald Trump. Any individual still calling this Pandemic a hoax should go play in traffic, but even the ones who did for the longest time initially are probably going to suddenly say it's real but shift blame to the states. These people are idiots... and they're probably largely over at another forum right now because they needed to go dark web to stay loyal to a treasonous bastard of a POTUS.
  7. Wow.... so you haven't paid ANY attention, have you? https://news.gallup.com/poll/203198/presidential-approval-ratings-donald-trump.aspx 94% in September 94% from September-October 95% mid October (insane considering this was after that absolute debacle of a first debate) 90% in November AFTER the election!!! 87% in the first half of December which is just.....
  8. You can never say that about anyone. But he's been an awful President. Hell, he should be taking credit for the vaccine (even though he bungled SO MUCH of the entire Pandemic itself), but instead he can't stop talking about election fraud. This guy was just horrible for our country in so many different ways.
  9. The Republicans you know are not representative of the party as a whole. It's pretty widely known that support of Trump in the Republican party was insanely high. Now, maybe what you're actually saying is what I hear from my Bills fan friend who voted for Trump in that he doesn't like what he says, but he loves what he's been doing. Even that's problematic, in all honesty. The Trump policies are so closely tied in with who he is and what he says.
  10. Fringe? Are you kidding? Support of Trump in the Republican party was some crazy high number of 95% or something crazy just a few months ago. What happened yesterday will likely shift things a little, but anyone who is shocked by where Trump led his followers is utterly naive because he's been talking about this since the 2015 General Election. All Trump supporters are culpable to at least some small degree plainly because of their dismissiveness over Trump's rhetoric when his rhetoric is what ultimately caused yesterday. That is a sad but plain truth. As great as it is that a bunch of those Republican senators backtracked their challenges to the free and fair election, the fact that they were blindly and loyally following their leader's move to overturn an election brought this entire incident about.
  11. The difference is that this is the soul of an actual political party now with its leader being the POTUS, the leader of the "free world" and most powerful man in the world. And if you say that Antifa is the soul of the Democratic Party, you really don't have a leg to stand on.
  12. Honestly, I kinda think he has a point. All Extremism is bad. Absolutely. And there are extremists on the far-left who should be condemned and penalized. However, the very core of Trumpism really is to fight, not accept defeat, and not help others if it doesn't benefit yourself. The only good that seems to be coming out of yesterday is that I think FINALLY Trump has lost his grip on the Republican party, which will now almost certainly be fractured as Trump's followers likely break off to try to create some 3rd party likely not named the Trumpsters Terrorism Party.
  13. There were people shot and killed and hurt because of extremists on BOTH sides, though. That's where you're confused. A lot of the violence was instigated and even enflamed and encouraged by far-right extremists who had an agenda to make all the protests as chaotic and violent as possible. And no, I'm not forgiving any far left extremists, but the violence and destruction didn't happen solely (sometimes it didn't even happen primarily) because of them. What happened yesterday was Trump supporters trying to overthrow a free and fair election and doing so violently. And in the process they were desecrating one of the most sacred and historic buildings in our nation. This is not an apples to apples comparison, whether you like it or not.
  14. I still see you here... you haven't been banned. In fact, the only idiots over there who got themselves banned from here are @The_Dude (and he was banned for being a scum of the Earth and saying absolutely horrible things about enjoying killing Hajis... among other things) and @Deranged Rhino (who got banned because he was a troll who was utterly hypocritical and was even given multiple chances). I didn't really care about their namecalling, but over at that site, they were the ones making everything personal. They just always got so angry because I didn't accept their 200 something page "Voter Fraud" thread and all the disinformation in it as actual evidence of fraud. They're small people, really. The fact that they were pushing to ban me for the last few weeks and finally got it done tells me that. I don't care. Greg is a loser who led them over there and can't even accept reality and the rest of them have followed him deep into the rabbit hole. I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms since they only accept like-minded people and you're clearly one of them.
  15. Is the politics board over there still open? I got banned overnight because I asked them all if they were doing okay since it looked like the Presidency, House and Senate would all now be blue and I made fun of their complaint of Ossoff and Warnack suddenly jumping in the lead as hypocritical because when there was only something like 20% of the vote in, Ossoff and Warnack were up by close to 100k votes. They thought that was worthy of a ban. Pretty sad. Anyway, I used a different browser just to go to the site to check and not be signed in, and I no longer saw a political forum visible. Is it still there? If so, I'm guessing they make it invisible to those not signed in. I just think it's sad. You and @Doc Brown are probably going to be the most sane ones over there now. Good luck.
  16. No it's not "literally no different." Over the summer there were TONS of peaceful protests nationwide. Remember that this was something that was in every single state in the Union. And in some--but not all-- of those states, there was violence. And guess what... some of that violence was incited by the right, not the left. That's very well-documented. It was ultimately a nationwide peaceful protest with violent uprisings that garnered a lot of attention. This, however, is a protest (should we even call it that? Honestly?) focused on a single event that's really a representation of our entire democracy, and these "protestors" were literally attempting a coup. What they were attempting was actual treason, and they should honestly be tried for it. And sadly, they're just sheep following a narcissistic leader with a very low-IQ who is simply unable to admit defeat. This is not like the Summer. This is much, much worse.
  17. I actually wonder if they closed the politics subforum due to today's events. One can only hope they did something sane like that. I dunno... we should ask posters like @Doc Brown or @leh-nerd skin-erd who mosy back and forth between both boards.
  18. They've all lost it apparently. I've been pushing for @Buffalo_Gal (now going by another username) to give me a smoking gun as evidence of voter fraud. Every time I ask she's so evasive by exclaiming that the entire thread is evidence. When I tell her that I've gone through some of the things in the thread and found no smoking gun (lots of misrepresentations, clerical errors, falsehoods, slivers of truth, etc. but nothing showing this widespread fraud they claim so obviously exists), she states I would believe anything she posted, anyway. It's just so friggin sad. She was honestly one of my favorite posters on the other side and even she's lost it. That's how they ALL feel, though. And they're so angry at me when I point out they're wrong. Just a bunch've hypocrites, but I'll miss posters like @Buffalo_Gal and @Foxx among a few others. Has @leh-nerd skin-erd run to that echo chamber, yet, or is he still here? They don't get that they've become the problem with our country right now. When the Capital needs to lockdown on a day that should be a routine nothingburger of a day... all because of some Trump-Cult protesters following the instructions of their leader, you have a huge problem. They are literally calling for people to go to the streets with guns and kill people over there. Shouldn't surprise anyone that's coming from the previously banned @The_Dude himself.
  19. They've completely lost it over at the other forum. I asked last night how they were doing now that it looks like President, Senate and House are all now controlled by Democrats. I just went to see if I had any responses and discovered I've been banned. Talk about a pathetic bunch.
  20. Something all true Bills fans can agree on
  21. I watched this earlier. Love that he's on the Allen bandwagon, but I think I like the Robocop comparison better. And yes, I've watched and love the Mandalorian.
  22. Haven't seen any reaction to this particular accusation. No mention of it, either. They've been relatively quiet about fraud today, too. Could be because it's GameDay.
  23. I'm still just so flabbergasted at the cult-of-Trump. That's really what they are. They're a cult. Trump is their leader and he's convinced all of them to drink the Kool-Aid... only rather than being a funny joke, that's not hyperbole. These people are so convinced fraud exists that they don't look at ANYTHING else unless it's something that proves fraud and some of the craziest (which is A LOT of them.... frighteningly) are in "standby" mode to do whatever Trump's biddings are. I really am pretty sad about all our right-wing friends on this board and the other. They're rolling snake eyes and just can't stop rolling time and time again. Even the ones I consider relatively sane seem to be losing it. Just sad.
